Justin Sun - TRON as the Global Settlement Layer - TOKEN2049 Dubai 2025

Um thanks everybody to come to token 2049. Um I don't even remember like um this is like what year I uh attend this conference. Um but it's amazing to see Dubai has grown from zero uh to be one of the most um prosper crypto hub uh as today uh which I think Tron uh arrived this journey together uh with Dubai and Dubai now has become like one of our most invested place and we will continue to do do so. So let's uh check uh a little bit about uh Trong progress uh recently. So um recently we just uh surpassed 300 million users.

Um now it's 302 million users accounts on the blockchain and over uh around 20 to 30 billion um settlement uh US dollar settlement um every day. uh mostly is stable coin but also some with our uh ecosystem token and all the tokens issuing on Tron and the Tron is also um one of the leading uh blockchain in terms of uh stable coin transaction um in 2022 alone Tron uh generate around 2 um um 2.2 two billion dollars in the revenue um is uh 115% increase over uh 2023 and uh for this year uh even right now we are only at Q2 but still we are seeing a huge progress we are making in Q1 and I I think 2025 will still uh will be a very big year um for TR ecosystem and currently The network average um 8 million uh daily transactions and recently um we have uh a huge milestone. The circulation supply of tether uh USDT on Tron has surpassed 70 uh billion dollars. Um this is a very powerful um reflection of the traffic and user trust on our blockchain.

we have always um put uh the user experience and uh the usage uh and the adoption on our priority. So I think USDT on Tron is definitely I think one of the uh demonstrate uh of this uh value for them and also of course um Tron D5 system uh also keep growing. Uh last year uh we um uh started to uh launch USDD um decentralized stable coin and um I'm very pleased we can deliver it in Q Q1 uh and only after 3 months we deliver it. Right now the uh TVL has surpassed $400 million uh and keep growing. uh for USD uh road map we are thinking about uh rolling um the Ethereum Ethereum version and Solana BNB chain as well um together with Trump blockchain.

So I uh our target for USDD um decentralized which is a decentralized uh stable coin is around $1 billion um market cap uh which I think we can definitely uh get it down uh within um this year. Uh and also we are we would like to provide different um uh selections for stable coin for users on Tron. We have USDT of course 70 billion but later we will collaborate with um USD1 um which is um present by war liberty financial uh I'm also one of the biggest investor of that project and also um we will um um we have USD which is a decentralized um smart contract uh stable coin you know no one controls uh which is also I think will be a very good selection packet for um all the users on trial. Uh and also we have uh a lots of progress in terms of u compliance uh and our uh uh government regulation efforts. So last year, Tron founded T3 FCU uh which is um um first private sector um crime combat um organization.

So we collaborate with uh uh DOJ and all the uh major law enforcement globally recently of course everybody see government uh on uh combat illicit activity on on the blockchain. So, um we have um frozen um around uh $160 uh million dollars uh of the um um illicit uh usage of funds and returned it to the uh victim uh which I think is extremely important. Um we use the data um TR gave the data because it's transparent. uh data is here, evidence is here and the TRM labs provide um the data support and the analytic support to the law enforcement translate to the translate to the language they can understand and of course Tedar help us to identify uh the criminal addresses and we uh help them to um raise the fund and get back for them. Um this is a very important I think efforts and we will see uh more and more uh big uh exchange partners in the space uh will join T3 uh FCU.

Um and also of course uh recently uh we have focused our collaboration on uh exchange in uh United States. Uh I would like to feature our partner Kraken. Uh we have launched with them uh about um lots of Tron ecosystem token including JST Sun uh Wing NFT uh USDD um and also um Sound Dog um different memes u all on Kraken exchange and we will continue to collaborate with more uh with US exchange because we know uh this year uh is a very big year for crypto in uh United States. And also uh I would like to talk a little bit about um um stable coin um landscape overall speaking. So stable coin like USDT today has been the backbone and the fundamental layer for uh digital assets industry.

Um today we have around uh 146 billion dollar uh stable coin USDT uh and uh nearly around 50% um circulating supply is running on Tron every day uh with around $30 billion uh trading volume. So we believe uh scalability uh security um and cheap gas fee uh is the key for customer choice. Uh I assume today uh lots of audience uh today might use Tron uh as one of the way they transact uh stable coin. Um and also um um this is our goal probably within this year I think the stable coin on Tron overall market cap will uh surpass hundred billion dollars. Um this is a very ambitious number but I think definitely uh we have chance to to achieve that.

Uh and also um I think I want to talk a little bit about the um T3 FCU. Um um because this is also a efforts not only with global law enforcement but also with US uh regulators um we help them to um targeted the criminal uh internationally which some of the um because of the cryptocurrency is a global uh settlement layer the money move moves around globally. So it's very hard for law enforcement sometimes to identify and freeze the fund on time. So um so that's definitely I think T3 FCU is a great help for all the law enforcement globally and this year uh we also have a big plan um for Trunk ecosystem um for um JST like recently has been feature um Binance future trading um is extremely popular is a tr um RV and maker so basically it's enjoy Joyce uh on the treasury today uh has over $und00 million and it it will all come back buy back o GST token and goes to burn and also at the same time um I think just land is the lending platform on Tron has reached around $5 billion market cap um and and also USD uh which is grow uh exponentially uh without saying and also for samp is also uh creating lots of meme coins uh and lots of trading opportunities for everyone if they are interested to build on tr I think some som.io IO is definitely a good place to go and also um I would like to talk about um Tron community and Tron super representative which is the key uh of Tron ecosystem um because myself is kind of famous.

So when uh everybody talk about tron probably my name is the first come to the mind but actually uh I want to remind like everybody actually uh myself I don't run any nodes on tr so tron is a decentralized network and actually uh the people who running the tron network is um all the tron valitor knows is permission is like everyone can run tron right it's just like Uh Satoshi creates Bitcoin but um he can do nothing about Bitcoin you know it's basically governed by the all the miners community like is belong to everybody in the world. uh Tron super representative uh which is the people who really runs Tron network has grown uh in the past years uh which make Tron one of the most decentralized uh decentralized protocol uh in the world uh we have um all the major exchange um and uh organization uh like Binance, like OKX, uh OK Japan um all running um uh Trang uh metadata services. We also have cloud partners like Google cloud uh running our services and we also have nansen uh kingly and recently of course uh we have p2p.org board also join as Tron as a super representative to provide staking services for Tron. And I believe definitely uh I think in the future more um institution um exchange uh will continue to be TR super representative and also of course we have seen so many community um members also running Toronto which is guarantee the decentralization of Tron network which I believe is uh is the um most important thing for um forron ecosystem.

Uh as as a founder um my job is just keep pushing the um ecosystem to grow and uh I think our um network is running by our partner uh in a very uh good way. Um last year uh I think Tron put together has settled around um $5 trillion uh in the whole year uh which already surpass uh Visa and the master in terms of the uh settlement transaction and I I think in this year uh we definitely have a chance to get to around $7 trillion in terms of the settlement. uh and all these efforts uh is thanks to our um super representative which is uh uh very important uh for us and also uh I would like to mention a little bit about breakthrough in United States. Uh recently we file uh Trang uh ETF um S1 um pending on SEC approval. Uh hopefully if we can get approval this year, it will be a big news uh in uh United States and I think everybody will enjoy u trading um Tron as a ETF in uh the US uh stock markets.

In conclusion, uh I think in the US uh Trump administration is taking step to create a better and uh um prosper environment for cryptocurrency industry. Uh this is a sign that blockchain and digital assets uh becoming bigger parts of global uh digital economy. Um but it this is just a beginning for myself. I will uh visit and spend more time in United States uh in the future to encourage Tron uh development and uh definitely I think this is definitely a good year to owing United States and keep pushing uh Tron development in in the US.
