I am Stefan. I am the co- founder and CEO of OneBalance. I'm very happy to talk to you about helping bring users on-chain with a single click. First a little about me. Before founding OneBalance, I worked as a co-founder and chief architect at Flashbots.
We built the We built the MEV infrastructure for Ethereum . I used the lessons I learned from building such a technology infrastructure for trading to solve the problem of creating better applications for users . The intention behind this is very simple. I think we are at a pivotal point in the crypto space think we are at a pivotal point in the crypto space . We are moving away from having the majority of users on centralized exchanges like Binance and Coinbase .
Because it's very easy to be there. It is easy for users to understand, less complex, and less hassle. But, now more and more users are having to come on-chain . There is a very simple reason for this, which is that the range of tokens you can trade on-chain is much larger compared to off-chain. We are seeing over 14 million tokens becoming available on-chain on platforms like Uniswap and Pump.
That number continues to grow every day . Therefore, it is not possible for centralized exchanges to list all of these derivatives. That's why many of them are trying to provide on- chain liquidity to their off-chain users . The same thing is happening in the traditional financial sector . So all the fintech apps are building non- apps are building non- custodial wallets that allow users to trade directly on-chain.
Yes, stablecoins, buying any token, receiving yield opportunities, and growth for payments have increased. We are helping to solve these helping to solve these . The problem with this is that the user experience (UX) of on-chain transactions is completely disrupted. It is very difficult for users to understand the complexities of bridging, gas fees, and the concept of chains, and what is safe and what is not. So, if you just want to buy Pengu token, users currently have to ask all these questions .
Why do I have to wait so long for confirmation ? Why can't I buy anything on Solana using the USDC in my Ethereum wallet ? How do these gas fees work? And why do I need to have a different token to pay fees ? Why do I need to set up all these wallets to interact with the chain ?
And when will it really become simple? So, we are here to answer that question and enable anyone to build a Web-to-like UX on-chain . And what if you could interact in a completely chain-abstracted way ? We have a sample application built on our client . This provides an e-commerce browsing experience, and when it comes time to check- and when it comes time to check- out , you don't have the stress of having a wallet, making sure you have the right tokens, and gas fees.
The application can directly implement our toolkit and provide users with a check-out process similar to what they are familiar with in other web applications. The important thing is that it can be used for anything you want to do on-chain can be used for anything you want to do on-chain . So, you can buy any NFT, switch to any location, and participate in things like perp markets on the same infrastructure . If you want to build a super app and offer all these products to your users , you should work with us to improve the user experience 10 times . What does this mean practically?
This means that users have access to swaps, yields, perps, and payments with a single click, without having to worry about chains, bridges, or gas fees . The traditional way of building applications in crypto is that you build directly on-chain. So, you choose which chain to build on and decide which toolkit to use . Then you develop everything from scratch. This means you have to build a lot of the infrastructure yourself and you are limited to a specific chain .
What we are doing is abstracting everything that is underlying . So, all the chains you want to interact with are just one API integration away. As an app developer, you can focus only on the experience you want to provide to users, without worrying about blockchain infrastructure . Among the features we offer, the most important one for those who want to delve deeper is ' Resource Locks'. The cross-chain experience that Resource Locks offers is superior to anything currently on the market.
It is faster, less expensive, and more reliable than any bridge you might use . Resource locks are needed by those who want to transact on any chain in milliseconds, and we are currently the only company on the market that offers it . Here are some other things we offer and facilitate . These are the UX elements that are currently missing in crypto, but must be there. There are passkeys, social logins, and the flexibility to pay with any token for the work you want.
And most importantly, it is important that fiat-to-crypto ramps become easier. It's very difficult to build all of these on your own, so I think today's applications are facing a lot of difficulties without them . So, this is the real goal, right? From a user perspective , this should be a one- click experience . Within 250 milliseconds of them pressing a button , the task they want to do on the chain must be completed.
There will be no reversion , and they wo n't have to worry about gas fees. On the back screen, all the complexity is removed is removed . That's the power of chain abstraction , that's the ability to get the job done with a single click. We have built our entire toolkit to be highly modular . Many applications today work with embedded wallets like Privy or Turnkey for key management services .
You can connect directly to our system using those wallet architectures , we provide aggregated balances, dynamic routing for better pricing, and the aforementioned resource locks. Many toolkits claim to offer multi-chain support, but they don't actually support every chain. In most cases they only support a few EVM chains , but we remain completely non-custodial, while still providing native support for Bitcoin and Solana. So, you don't have to worry about compliance issues when running custodial services . We are proud to be at the forefront of supporting new chains .
If you are building a new chain and want to connect with our system , please contact us, we will help you with our integration network. The last thing I want to tell everyone is that crypto is no longer limited to a small group. So it's not at all possible to expect users to go through very difficult UX processes to get on-chain. And building in a centralized manner is no longer possible, because you don't have the ability to offer the same investment world to your customers as with non-custodial products. So in the time we are in now, there is a lot of demand to go on-chain, but there are very few people who know how to do it with good UX.
I encourage you to consider the ' Fellowship of One Balance' . This includes our integration partners, our stock, and the companies that operate on our vision . Talk to us if you want to improve the experience you offer your customers . Thank you
