hello everyone I'm Dr Shelby Joe from Fallout Network and today I'm very glad to have this chance to introduce our progress in making a real decentralized and trustless infrastructures for the web3 developers and the projects and also I will introduce our next Generation smart contract sorry programming model Fair contract and how it can work it can achieve yeah before uh before all my introduction I'm very glad to First share a very interesting fact here is that although all these decentralized apps they claim to be decentralized but there is always a centralized part inside of it yeah and this is the trade of the development of the decentralized app and what we can see is that the decentral app itself is becoming more and more complex this and this they are meant to serve more and more people with more and more data and now actually I think a common sense here is that you cannot Implement your application with just one smart contract there is also other building components and that's why many peoples they choose to build us a brand new chains to facilitate their applications but this can be very hard for them and this can block a lot of developers which try to step into the website world yeah so this is how a typical web3 application look like so and now we can see we have already achieved very good process in decentralized their component for example we have already have decentralized storage and we have decentralized a set layer so you can issue your token on different blockchains but the problem here is that we can see that the core of your backend programs they are still in the web 2 cloud and you have to deploy your programs into the like the Amazon AWS or the the the cloud from the Microsoft and I think the problem here is that that means all the sensitive data will be processed in this centralized Cloud so this is what we want for the web3 world yeah and this is what our specification for the web free back end so the first things is that we believe the previous search for this back-end is that they have to be blockchain native so it has to inheritate the enforcements execution of smart contract and there should be no loss of states and all your data should be saved on chain also we to serve our customers better they should be low latency because you will not need to wait for the like to for six seconds and for the confirmation of your transaction and you just need to get the result immediately third is the about the continuous service is is that for example considering you are playing a game and you you do not need to for example stop for every second six seconds and to wait for the block to for the block production and this can this can just uh crash your user experience and the last part is about the connectivity and I think this is also the core part of the the core limitation of the existing smart contract because as a as a program actually you need to connect to different components to form a real uh back-end programs yeah and this is our solution to this problem so actually first we Pro our Network the file and network is try to serve as the web3 Computing Cloud for these programs and also we have proposed our programming model called the fat contract which has all these specifications so you can build anything you want with just one smart contract yep yep so this is file Network and we are the web3 computation infrastructure and uh I think uh it's a permissionless cloud that's inherently spot data privacy will remain chestless so now let's we have a a close look at this so the technology we use is called the securing clay or The Trusted Hardwares or The Trusted execution environment it has many names but actually all refers to the same things and actually these features is available to almost all the modern CPUs no matter you are using the Intel or you are using the AMD it's there and actually it provides very uh promising features is that the computationality the hardware-based confidentiality that means all the data processed in these CPUs cannot be seen even if you have the physical access to these machines and another point is that it can ensurely execute Integrity that means uh it's very hard for the hackers to hack into your programs and changes behaviors and to my best knowledge actually uh there is no current known crack to the execution Integrity now but I believe actually uh fala is not the only program that you combine the securing claim and the blockchains but I think what makes us unique is that we are the only project in the world that allowed any people with these Hardwares to join our Network and provide their competing power and the secret about that is that we have designed a very unique tokenomic for the staking to economic to ensure that uh the data privacy and also that our miners they provide the good quality of service yeah so this is what we have achieved so as a startup actually we have now has already have over 15 000 nodes all around the world and all these machines is not hosted by us it's come from our community come from our miners and we also have I have just talking about our staking mechanism and we can see that there is uh 160 million far which is stock which is staked and there are as to the a security deposit for your service so that's why I say this is a very solid infrastructure for the web3 project and there is millions of computing Powers you can use yeah so uh after we have these infrastructure so the next problem we try to tackle is that how we can release this computing power and how we can make them usable for all these projects yeah so this is why we proposed the fat contract this is because for example if if we just reuse the smart contract from the evm it will not change the game because uh no matter how many workers there are it will only add the security promise to your smart contract but it will give you no performance gain no matter how many workers there are so but the fat Contra has changed these games because it has introduced some uh Innovative programming model which is called the off-chain computation so this means it's still blockchain based but it's actually it's executed in the off-chain workers or our workers yeah so it has many benefits and I think the most significant benefits is that first it's release the performance so you can do very complex computation in this program and the next is that there is no gas fee so we do not charge at the instruction level so you can that's I think that's also why you can run very complex programs in this so I will introduce that yeah so actually the proposed of fair contract we do not meant to replace the smart contract we do not try to replace or kill the Easter Room instead I think the the fat contract is the missing computational unit for the smart contract because now you can only store the most important data on your stock so I can write the balance of your tokens but let's just move all the other things inside the effect contract so compare with the smart contract I think the benefits is that first there is no latency in fat contract so when the user for example when your customer sends a requests actually it directly goes to our workers and inside and the contract inside it and the contract will handle this request and provide the result immediately and return them directly to the users without submitting any transaction on chains so this also means that your user do not need to they do not need the wallet anymore to interact with the application and I think this can greatly lower the barriers for the customers to join the Western world and also since our computation they run off chains that means your contract can utilize all the Computing powers of our workers so and all these contracts when the contract is deployed to different workers you will have multiple instance and each instance they can handle the user request in Peril so this is why we say we our community power can be scalable and the third part is the privacy and actually privacy is always the first concern of the file Network because we need to preserve the privacy of our customers of our developers so since all your contracts will be executed in our workers which is uh securing based so we provide Hardware based promise that your contrast date is is safe and also all the inputs from your users are end-to-end encrypted to the contrast so that's why we say the promise is also promised and the last part and I think this is the most uh Innovative part of our contracts that we enable native internet access inside our contract so let's see what it can it can bring you yeah this is some very interesting use case which is enabled which is only enabled inside fat contract so the first is that we provide a new paradigm that you can do cross-chain transaction sending without any Bridges for example uh we have already provided official library for the user for our developers to use so they can just send the cross chain transaction with one function invocation for example you can just generate a ethernet account inside our contract which is safe because other things are private and also you can use the HTTP request to connect to any public RPC node or VISA room then you can construct the transaction inside our contract and send this transaction directly to the to the user room this means you can use the fat contract to operate ethereum account for you and also this Paradigm can be very easily extend to other blockchains and FYI we by implement the ethereum support we just take a one engineer for one week to do that so actually we can do the similar things for all the other things only if we can construct the transaction inside our contract yeah and this also means actually you can operate multiple uh chains just in one contract and I think this can uh enable a lot of interesting applications yeah another part is that we can connect to more than just chains actually we can connect to other any other service with the HTTP apis for example you can connect to the web3 indexing service like the graph you can connect to the web3 storage like our wave and also you can connect to the even the web to services like the binance for example did they enable you to do a very typical things like the Oracle because Oracle you just read some data from the data source and you send the transaction into the Target blockchains and actually all these things can be achieved in fact contracts just with just tens of lines of code so also we have a public Oracle a workshop here to show that yeah and the last part is that I think uh the great part is that you can safely process any secret data with the help of fat contract so let's say that there is many already many extra storage service there but actually they provide uh less uh promise on the uh secrecy of your of your data but the fat contract can help that so for example the user we can generate a secret key inside our contract which is only accessible inside the trusted Hardwares and the users take uh and this this means this contract can serve as a encryption middleware for all your users then they can transparently encrypt and decrypt the data before they are sending to the real storage so this can also help provide help protect the privacy of our users yeah and with all this capability I think the last part is that uh how you can use that so we have we have proposed a stake to compute model so just as I said we do not charge at the instruction level instead just take some tokens to rent the computing power of our Network and then uh only if you have keep this staking then you can use this community power as you wish and you can do very complex computation needs and after you have finished that actually you can retrieve your stake and then your contract will be destroyed so this is why we say actually there is no fee when you try to use the competing power of our Network so yeah and and the fact Hunter itself has already been launched in the test net for about half a year and it's keep evolving because we have heard a lot of positive feedbacks from our community and there is a lot of requirements people always ask can we do this with fat contract and we think about it and try to see whether we kick tennis capability and now we are doing the main app beta test and hopefully we will have the midnight release of that contract in November so just keep following and actually our our boost is in m29 so I'm very glad to see you there and you are also very very welcome to see our Wiki see our code base because all our code are open source so yeah so you if you have any idea I'm very glad to meet you at the m29 so thank you
