Hi everyone, my name is David Machucher, co-founder of Net Pay. We're building a local stable coin infrastructure for settlements as well as the first ever regulated stable coin for Tanzania. Uh the promise of transacting globally has always been promising with come Bitcoin as well as USD stable coins. However, this has led to local inefficiencies. We can see that with at least 90% of trade in Africa still being settled globally with at least 55% of trade globally still being settled in USD.

We've built an infrastructure that enables SMMES to transact globally without having to worry about touching stable coins, enabling banks to settle for them in a compliant way. Our infrastructure enables these SMMES to send and receive over 10 plus stable coins such as the Nigerian NRA stable coin, the Indonesia stable coin and many more stable coins and base as well as generate payment links, swap between the stable coins as well as be able to own and run for offramp directly to the mobile or bank. We've done close to 100k in volume in combined volume since base batches one in past 3 months. We've already partnered with two banks that are available in the five plus countries we operate in plus more. And we've got the first initial approval from the central bank of Tanzania to build the first local stable coin for Tanzania as well.

As for our team, we're multifaceted. Me myself having led agency banking at Kenya commercial bank scaling to thousands of agents in Tanzania before diving into stable infrastructure as well as my co-founder being in decentralized um node infrastructure as well as leading the first regulated special economic zone in Zansbar.
