[Music] I think the biggest thing is about freedom for users. They have the choice to pick their own client. They can use any app that they want to connect to the protocol. I think for creators, it's actually owning their own audience. And so, you're not kind of beholden to some centralized company that on a whim could kick you off.
And I think for developers, it's about permissionless access, the ability to kind of build what you want and not have to have a gatekeeper decide whether you could be in some app store or kind of reach new users. I think the thing that we noticed as the network grew is like the most interesting and unique things people were doing there were all on chip, sending USDC to each other. They were sending tips. They were buying things. And that really became the thing that set Farcaster apart.
First is DGEN. It was kind of the first Farcaster native coin. There was actually a real economy and a kind of social vibrant fabric to it. And I think another one, Remix, formerly Farcade. Watching people play some of those early games kind of gave us the confidence to say, "Hey, this is the thing to kind of go about the farm on in terms of building out this whole ecosystem so that other developers can build on top."
The obvious thing is it's competition, and competition is extremely good for consumers. you're going to have more kind of functionality that the different apps and clients are providing in a way that if if you have a set of preferences, maybe you really are optimizing for a video feed, you may use the base app. I think more opportunities to earn frankly just more people in the forecaster ecosystem is is going to be good for everyone. The next big milestone would be to reach an order of magnitude higher either in terms of users opening the app every day or people doing things on chain. That's the number one thing that matters is growing the pie for users, for developers, for creators, for everybody building in the ecosystem.
