e e we have this product they are transparent they are on the blockchain they were very very interested and they were say tell me more and I I have here two example of an online German Market it's the largest online reseller and a Belgium German Market sorry another German one and a Dutch one that you know these these guys for example they you know represent maybe 40 different brands you see from the most famous one like Cafe bbon whatever and in the page of Cafe Barbara if you write Huber Barbara they have a section about blockchain that have been inserting a company profile why because they they were interested so it was in competitive Advantage for a company to show them that actually you know we're doing something like this and then another one for example this is another one Ros Market as well talking about blockchain just a moment where it is talking about blockchain here transparency and blockchain same for a Dutch company this is a Dutch company and again here talking about blockchain technology this is very very very unique for a company like ours because the market is very behind you know in technology and so on and the third interesting uh advantages that we had was also a cleaning of our suppli ERS because what happened it happened that by asking our supplier you know my friend you need to upload the B certificate in the blockchain even if it's very easy there there's just a CRM they just upload the data but many of them they didn't do it because they didn't have the product the the certification updated so we found out as a company we were buying from the farmers coffee that was maybe certifying organic but it was not so it's really really big problem this allowed us to to let's say make it more transparent and even our supply chain became more efficient of course the issue is that convincing these people to do that because it's not so easy you know sometimes you deal with farmers in Brazil they you know even don't know what is uh of course for sure they don't know what is blockchain but they don't know even you know what we're talking about so it's it's a lot of unfortunately training and that's pretty much it just uh to conclude uh right now we have only five product for plus one but the project is to bring most of the product possible into the blockchain H of course more the product is complex so more origins of coffee it has more complicated it is because you need to do that for every batch yeah I don't know if there is any question regarding uh regarding this thank you [Applause] absolutely yes yes yeah I have micophone yeah go ahead thank you so thank you very much for the presentation I love it because when I was a uni many years ago I just tried to develop with the it system in Bologna the Chas ability for each single batch of production uh anyway so for the blockchain um so who's a I didn't get it from from here so who is uploading the material for each single process of the supply chain okay so depend by the document okay right now in this one that you have seen is four different parties that we manage to bring so directly directly so it's not the company yourself no no no is a CRM you are you login and they have let's say username password they upload this documentation then they are pushed into the blockchain okay so you share on polygon username and password for the company basic where they upload stage one stage two 3 four five and no there is a CRM so it's it's a different type of platform managed by this track good company where the different parties of the blockchain they have an access as let's say admin and they can upload when they upload they upload in a normal CRM they even don't know is pushed then into the transaction all right right it's basically it's separate but then it's pushed in the uh blockchain transaction yes got it and the other question is so at the end when you have like one tons of coffee from Brazil coming to Italy is going to be converted in coffee beans and then in coffee powder so you will produce let's say one one one tons of coffee B box of 200 g so behind each single box do you leave like the QR code for the tracability or you don't leave the QR code for the tracability on polygon or on a blockchain so you're asking me so the customer in this case you can see through the QR code Yeah so basically all right you got it yeah I'll give you an example so this pack unfortunately I apologize I didn't have a PowerPoint presentation But Here For example you see a QR code right so in every package we have a QR code we have it also in our online so when you see the profile of the product there is no more about the product on blockchain the customer click I'll show you in real time and they go in the journey section this is just a normal landing page but in this landing page you then have this that allows you to see everything on blockchain so here you have then the transaction Ash that you click for every documentation put on blockchain this is how we we did it okay thank you and the third and last question so I know it's not it's not your case case so it's not your case generally speaking we know that fertilized in different part of the Ws are legal and illegal yeah Absolut you agree with that okay so so your supplier for the coffee beans for the seeds so how we know that he's using legal or illegal fertilizer approved by European Community fantastic question so that's why in um let's say let's say something so the European market does not allow any beIN of coffee to come in in the market if does not respect specific fertilizer parameters so the coffee especially is extremely controlled like but even cocoa I mean people don't know but every batch of coffee actually goes to the custom there is a laboratory analysis and then is approv and it goes if for any reason a company fails to do that and to declare you you have panel actually uh potential suit so it's something already happening and we put it also here so actually um let me just um show to you we actually put the laboratory analysis test of every single batch that we have that shows that the coffee is conform here we are so laboratory for Costa Rica so if you see here there is a humidity impurity and so on so we also uploaded but it's something already happening okay because I come from a family where we produce grain pasta tomato so and things so but we know that when we import from abroad the custom authorities especially on container ships that when we buy the grain from Canada turkey other parts of the world so they don't check especially you go in a different ports like Bari you go to Istanbul so is not going to be checked so at the end there is like a gap in the system where it really doesn't work for sure there is for sure there is I mean uh we are doing this we are also putting in the blockchain to show them listen we do the laboratory analysis like all of us but I want to show with you I want to share with you then I'm putting also the blockchain so it's immutable you cannot change it I cannot fake it another one and so on but for sure it's happening I mean there are some for sure for sure thank you very much thank you you're welcome all right thank you thank you very much are there other questions yes please hi uh my name is jti I'm C co-founder of authentico authentico is uh in napolitan company that make a food traing system with the block blockchain technology in AGR system sector um um um are you are you dealing with the new European low uh aodr so it's a new lad that's starting from 1 of January 20 2025 that um needs that all the company in Europe that import uh green coffee coffee beans need to track of course the the the the the tracking system to show all the certification about anti-deforestation so I'm I want to understand if you are dealing with that and how you think to use your tracking system to to to that for that thank you thank you for this question so uh the r and the deforestation Act is something that uh it's happening it's happening very fast especially with all the Brazilian problem probably you've heard there is a lot of fire right now in Brazil most of the reason is because the burn the trees the amazonic forest mostly to cattle for cattle growing but also unfortunately for some extent coffee because of course Brazil is the largest producer of coffee so the European law it's very uh unfortunately still now very unclear so we have been briefed Two Times by the European Union there are different uh let's say uh categories of coffee companies small size medium size and large size large size they need to do a full declaration doing that the medium small size they don't need to do it but uh let's say what we already have it's already this so we actually already all our plantations are 100% I mean we declare everything already of our plantations so no fertilizing organic or of course not in the forestation area most of them anyway they are let's say handpicking so they're very organic Cooperative uh but for sure the European Union will want to see this and we want to see this certificate then if you do on the Block chain right now it's up to you we haven't been brief anything about blockchain to be honest so we don't know if then the European Union will tell you guys need to do on the blockchain I honestly don't think so because it's not something probably new I hope it will happen but if this happen we will be ready because we already have that to be to be frank with you yes thank you thank you thank you very much ELO wonderful speech thank you now we move on and uh I would like to come on stage uh to
