Hi everyone, Sophie here. So today I'm going to go through one of the number one questions I get asked on a daily basis. It is how can I get my mini app to be featured on the baser. So we actually made a guide for developers on our docs and it is under featured checklist. You can go through we have gone and told you guys all the things that we think about when we're looking through the applications.

And one of the ones that I'm going to be discussing in detail today is about your manifest or your app metadata. Whenever I find a mini app that is really cool and then I check their manifest is missing screenshots or it's missing uh a tagline or a description, it sort of breaks down that user that user discovery experience because I find your mini app but I'm not able to get the information that would have made it a more engaging experience. So, I'm going to go through what a complete and full manifest looks like. And I'm going to do that using our very fun, furry friends on chain, Cattown. So, let's go through their manifest and what that looks like.

So, we have an understanding of what it means to have a complete manifest done. So, here I am just visiting Cattown and then I'm going to go check their manifest because your manifest should be publicly available. And I can see that they have a complete manifest here with images, descriptions. I can also see that they've registered on base dev. So I want to show you guys what this looks like when you're filling out your manifest in base.

Base dev. I've gone to preview. I've put in the URL for my mini app. In the console, I can see that my embed image is working. I can see that uh ready is being called.

This is where you can actually see any console logs that you have for your mini app if you're debugging. The account association is correct. And then um all the metadata here is complete. So they even have primary category. When you are filling out your manifest in base dev, whenever you open this, you can actually see what is needed.

So we've tried to make it as easy as possible for you. And another really cool part of bass dev which I'll show you here. This these analytics obviously are not for uh cat town but I just wanted to show you why bass dev is super powerful. You actually get analytics for your mini app in the base app. So we have analytics on session times opens entry points.

We even have an notification analytics as well here. And what you can also see is if I go to apps and I want to get featured here I am. I would have to click on this and fill out a form. And that is how you're able to get featured. Okay.

So the next step is like okay so cattown has a complete manifest. What does it actually look like in the base app? So here I am. I'm going to go to discovery. I'm going to scroll down.

I can see cat right here. So I'm going to click here. And there you can see all the screenshots from Cattown. You can see the description. I as a user already know like if I want to play Cattown, what it does.

This is a really powerful experience. Being able to actually understand the app before I open it just makes it that step between me just opening an app and not have like a cold start or a warm start. That is the difference between having a really good user experience or starting from scratch completely. be sharing all the documentation links that you need to succeed. I can't wait to test more mini apps.

Make sure that you get out there, fill in that manifest, and I can't wait to see all your apps. Thank you so much for building on base. Bye, guys.
