working to strengthen national technological capacity, not only in terms of use, but also in terms of production and control of strategic technologies. This means building environments in which research, business, and institutions operate in an integrated manner, with clear objectives and timeframes compatible with global competition. And it is in this context that initiatives like the Q Alliance come into play. This represents an industrial scientific infrastructure capable of connecting advanced expertise in quantum systems, artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing. This isn't just a network, but an enabling element for bringing these technologies out of the lab and into concrete applications.

Likewise, the work we are carrying out at the Alessandro Volta Center is aimed precisely at creating a stable point of reference for the development and convergence of DIPTECH technologies, with strong integration between academic research, industrial capacity, and strategic planning. But there is one aspect that is becoming increasingly evident and that we cannot ignore. The growth of artificial intelligence, as well as advanced digital infrastructure, is generating a demand for resources that is no longer just technological; it is a structural demand that involves the ability to sustain, power, and protect these systems over time. This forces us to think differently: no longer in terms of individual projects, but in terms of integrated architectures; no longer in terms of isolated solutions, but in systems capable of ensuring continuity, scalability, and autonomy. And in this context, the role of communities like yours becomes central because no public strategy can function without a living, vibrant ecosystem, without those who build, experiment, develop, without those who translate technology into real value.

Control Shift demonstrates exactly this: that it is possible to create a meeting point between vision and implementation, between research and the market, between young people, obviously young talents, and major transformations. Our task as institutions is to support this process, reduce friction, accelerate the process, and create the conditions for these energies to express themselves fully. Italy now has all it takes to play a major role in this phase, but it needs continuity, integration, and a vision that brings together technology, industry, and infrastructure. And look, it's a complex challenge, but it 's also an extraordinary opportunity, and I'm convinced that experiences like yours will contribute significantly to building this trajectory. Thank you, I wish you all the best in your work, and I'm confident that this event will spark ideas and projects that will have a real impact.

Thank you. M.
