Beyond Web3Bridge: Casweeney Ojukwu’s Success Story

I'm kasuku um I'm software engineer and um I've been in this space for a while I think I started writing Cod sometime around 2016 So currently I I work with poop Labs so um we are building um um product called hyper Bridge so I'm the one that worked on the token Gateway web Bridge was um a life changer for me so um prior to web tree Bridge um I've been building softwares obviously I've worked with lot of um companies uh both foreign and local companies and I was earning pretty good yeah the Nigerian Cod pretty goodp but um I needed to break into the blockchain ecosystem I needed to learn how to build decentralized applications and coming from a background coming from um an ecosystem where there are so many um resources out there where there are so many things you can pick up to learn and at the end of uh the day you end up wasting your time but Bridge was um uh the the platform that g give us structure and was able to give us the path with which we can learn this thing and become good at it not just learning it at The Superficial level but with deep knowledge and you know um there are so many blockchain developers out there without depth so but when you start talking about blockchain and you're talking about how the evm works start talking about how the upcode works that shows depth and web TR Bridge give us that depth and it gave us it also gave me um um Financial Freedom because um I wouldn't have been where I am today if I haven't had an encounter with web I enjoyed the football games the football we're playing uh uh during the cohort and I also enjoy the fact that um during the cohort you don't know it all so you're going to meet a lot of people that will challenge what you think you know so um I came into the record feeling like I'm um I'm a a good engineer but during some um Hons you see that at the end of the day the team you're part of didn't win and you see other person winning now this this will challenge you to want to learn more so I think that that that brought a lot uh that gave me a lot of um a lot of uh mindset change at first when that the city of that um uh the city of that project we're working on told me about tree Bridge it didn't ring a bell in my head it didn't ring a bell so um the person that now made me um made me pick like interest in like coming to a pre Bridge was um a colleague that was also part of the CR uh Glory praise so um we we already knew ourselves before the court so we're talking so she told me she wanted to come for tree bridge and she wanted to go into to um web tree development and all of that she was actually the one that sent me the form to sign up and um she also went the extra mile of always checking up on me have you signed up because I was very busy like as at in web two space I had a lot of things to do I was very very busy so sometimes um I'll say I'll do something and at the end of the day I'll forget doing it and all of that so she was the one that made sure I signed the hosting is super awesome like it's super super awesome so imagine uh a place where you you're not paying any money and you get free Wi-Fi you get free food and and you're being impacted with so much knowledge all you just need to do is uh study and code like that was a whole lot before web tree bridge I used to be very eager to want to get get a job like I used to be very eager like okay I want to get a job I want to get a job but after we Bridge getting a job is not so yeah we need jobs but getting a job wasn't I didn't for all the jobs I got I didn't apply for any one of them I didn't apply so the the CEO of these companies foreign companies reached out to me and all of that so how I was able to do this was like okay first of all I I enjoyed the fact that I was in the web three space and I love to contribute to the status quo so I was doing things that people were seeing things I can show for that okay this is what I did this is what I did and all of that so when I do these things I post them on Twitter and Linkedin and these guys see these things and they reach out to me so all the jobs I've gotten as far as web Tre is concerned I never applied for anyone and that is what web Tre Bridge gave to me because um the ecosystem is constantly changing and the way we were being trained is that you're being given something to do and you're asked to research about it so when you research about these things you write or talk about it you put it out there people see them and they reach out to you so there's this ad that say um best known always be the best so put what you're doing out there and people reach out to you so where pre Bridge was able to build that plat form and that confidence for me to talk about the things I do both of my brothers are currently are in the current court so for me to bring uh two of my brothers into prdge you should already know that um I want them to benefit from the ecosystem and me saying this you also let people out there know that something good is happening here you don't need to um you know a lot of times there's this fear the unknown that comes up so um while you're scared do it being scared just take the the first step is the hardest just come to a tree bridge and you you'll be blown away at the extent to which your life will change [Music] [Applause]
