actually what is push push protocol forly known as epns that is etherum push notification service is a decentralized communication protocol designed to enable notifications and messaging in the web3 space kind of strange right how many of us have heard of web3 notifications before very so what does it do it allows decentralized applications smart contracts and other web three entities to send notifications to users in a decentralized secure and user controlled manner so any smart contract D app or backend service can integrate push to provide a communication layer through notifications or chats that are tied to the wallet address of users so what is push literally it's a notification service in web 3 whereby it's all in one place if you want to get notifications for your application for let me say Webb for instance now has a channel on push and you want to get information about Hons corts events like this all you have to do is optain web3 Bridge channel on push like signing signing on push up the channel and everything happening on web3 bridge from the announcement of the cohort from events coming up like this you get it as a pop notification let's just go ahead I'll explain further so what is push protocol trying to solve the whole web3 notification um thing is kind of new many of us have never heard of it before so push is building the communication layer for web3 using which any D smart contracts or backend can send any realtime Communications such as notifications charts video and more they are tied directly to the user's wallet address so this address is a major Gap in the web three infrastructure and improving the everyday experience for blockchain users the notifications for any other Communications are offchain gasless and all scenarios except when a smart contract sends them in that is for Dev actually and in which case the smart contract pays a slightly higher gas fee for the payload that is sent on the blockchain so in web 3 why Communications are actually encrypted and secure they utilize the push open network which means that any D app or crypto wallet can easily integrate them making the lives of all web three users a lot easier and more aring to web2 ux where apps or protocols communicate with their users whenever something of importance occurs is about to OCC for them so actually I was expecting to talk to both devs and um nevs but it's still good that we are non devs here because devs understand better and there's a narrative like a portion that they should understand very well so I'll just try to skip this and go further so now to the main thing how to use push as an end user so you probably heard about notification thing and you think that okay this is cool I want to use it so the first thing you do is it's a d app it works as a d app there's an application on Google and Google store Apple Store just go there you sh for push you're going to see push protocol you can download the app you connect it to your metamax wallet so first of all you connect to the push the app app. p.org you op into channels you get notifications for protocols that are of your interest or relevant to you channels are protocols that activate themselves on push protocol to send notifications so now you can receive notifications from any push from any crypto front end that have already integrated on push alternatively via push the app and browser extension and mobile app which I mentioned you can also get notification so when you open the D app there you see something like that I'm not sure it's not clear that is eth tracker if you're interested in it you opt in when op in in it asks you how you want your settings to be then you confirm the op in and this is it so yeah this is um how it looks so subscribed to if I want to use coindex I want to get latest news on crypto I get notifications about what's happening price tracker for the prices of the asset I hold that I want to get notifications for so if today Solana drops by 10% I get a notification that Solana drops by 10% this is wallet tracker it's and a channel to track my wallet also so so I will just share my favorite slides actually like the favorite channels I use so this is one of my favorite channels on push the eth grass tracker so many of us in crypto we do transactions on eth and we know that it is one of the costliest things and the gas fee fluctuates so sometimes you want to do a transaction and you have to wait tonight or you say you wake up early morning around 3:00 when gray is low or something like that so that you can you can follow up and do your transactions but we push you don't have to do that because once you connect your wallet to this e gas price tracker every time gu goes up gu goes mid or G goes low it sends a notification direct to you so if you have the push up on your phone it comes in as a push notification from down and said gray is one now or gray is one or five now and you know that gray is low so if you have a transaction to do you can just go over to the wallet and do your transaction like you see here this was the last notification it said low 1.75 gay average 1.89 and high 2.68 so this is for the push tracker it is one of the most used channels actually I think about 50,000 people are opted into the E gas price tracker another Channel I use very well uh cryptocurrency jobs so many of us we are in this space and we actually hunting for jobs so why not make your life easier instead of waking up every morning and trying to go to this website and to know the current jobs that are there these jobs comes to you as notification so this is this came in senior business recruiter at Stell it's just pop up and if you're interested in the opportunity all you read information about what is happening in crypto like current information and other stuff crypto Market lead Maj on here and stuff so these are my three channels I enjoy most on push so this is how the ux is if you are using a PC this is my PC so next thing is the push metam Mark snap not everyone here may be familiar with this but devs might be there's what's called a snap on metax for notifications so if you want to get notifications from metam Marx your metax wallet all you have to do is connect it to the push and if you do a transaction if you receive money if your nft is being sold probably you listed an nft and somebody sent an offer you get a notification somebody sends you money you get a notification through it's and makes everything easy so the steps for you to install you install the metam Marx and add the stuff you set up the push snap you add your address and you op in the channels you want to the next thing is the push down so um some of us at or one we heard a lot of people talk about Dows and I want to believe we know what DS are how many i' never heard of a DA before let me see your hand okay everybody know what a DA is so a DA is um basically what's like a method for everyone in a particular project to like have the chance to participate and there's no top guy there's no Lo guy as long as you hold the token you can make contributions and do several things from da so similarly we have Push da so it is the governance framework that allows stakeholders of push protocol to vote on and propose changes related to the development funding and strategic direction of the project in particular so the Dow ensures that the community has control over the future of the protocol the push da governs the push protocol enabling the community to participate in the development and decision-making process of the protocol so as a decentralized project push Dow is focus on fostering collaborations and Innovations through both Technical and non techical contributions creating opportunities for individuals with a range of skill sets to contribute to the success of the protocol so on push protocol we have opportunities for both devs and non devs though even though opportunities are there are more for devs but I actually have something for you guys let's just go ahead so the first one here is the push grants program and this is basically for devs so here you just build on push you get um a grant for building on push and you get a follow up for your projects to make sure your projects like succeed uh this is what we might be interested in so if you're a non Tech person you're probably an ambassador a community manager or whatsoever so push has an ambassador program where you can actually represent push in your various capacities so if you are a community de if you're a community guy a designer a social media manager and you know that you can contribute to the push ecosystem you can apply for the ambassador program like me now I'm I'm a push Ambassador and I think they have three ambassadors program over the world that is one in laam one in India and Africa so um an ambassador for push in Africa so the next one is push missions so this is an exciting way to actually like reward users just like the Bounty stuff on super team so in this case when there's something something that needs to be done in either in the Dow or in the protocol they bring it out as a tax for Community guys to participate in so maybe they need to build a new design or create a new uh a new website so this is open for both devs and nevs so they can release something like M contest and several others so you can actually partake in push missions as a non-technical person but last I checked most people that are non-technical that have opportunities or missions are designers and um Community guys don't really have but designers have more opportunities why most of the opportunities are actually for dev then this is the most interesting part for um Nev guys so how many of us are business developers here okay one person so if you are a BD you basically know how it works like you linking up just like a senior brother of a collab manager in collab management you link this project to another project you Foster Partnerships and all but as a BD you do like advanced work so the BD subow is like a sub is like a subow of push down itself so it aims to motivate and incentivize contributors to engage in business development activities for push protocol this means getting different web3 projects to integrate one or more of push protocol products so like get a project to integrate push and have notifications with push so how does it work the B sub incentivizes and contributors to get other projects to collabor with push a collaboration is successful when a contributor gets a project to complete this steps so one is implementation this is when the project itself integrates on push that's the product push has like notifications charts or push spaces then announcements this is when the project officially announces that they have integrated on push now this is the reward criteria so tier one if you integrate a project with 200k followers uh Twitter followers large and very active communities you get $1,500 for that that is when it has met these two criterias they implement it and they announce it so tier two project with 100K followers midsize and very active Discord communities it gets $1,000 tier three project with 50k followers active Discord Community you get 750 thou um I say, $750 ti4 project with just 10K followers active Discord communities you get $500 so I feel this is an opportunity that every single person here can actually hop on you don't have to be a BD as long as you have access to projects that meet these criterias and you can tell them that okay this is what is happening on push your project can actually benefit from this like I mentioned the case of web3 bridge so let me say web3 Bridge um decides to create a channel on push so they do H they do hackathons they do cohort they do trainings they do event like this they need a channel where people can actually op in to get this notifications so they do this stuff but not everybody knows about them but imagine them imagine them coming on push other people across Africa that don't get to hear about the good work they are doing they they get to hear about it so in one way or the other if you know a project that can like fit in this category and come and push these are the rewards you can get and you're not limited to the amount of project you can bring if you if you alone can bring 10 tier one project how much is that that is $155,000 and this is going on like currently until whenever nothing has been said about it opening anytime soon so it's an opportunity for everyone here um it's a non technical opportunity so you're not going to say the devs are the one going to take the opportunity is actually open for we are n devs as long as you can network with people you can like pitch and do several other things that's is that so um I think this is the end of my slides so if you join the push just join the push
