Good evening, I was very interested in the seams. I've been an entrepreneur in the crypto ecosystem since 2013. Today I'm setting up an investment fund. It's a European investment that will invest in our system. Cosmos is a fertile ground.
It's underway; it was supposed to happen this year. Besides that, I'm also involved in the food industry. I also host a few podcasts on my podcast, Epicenter, which I've been doing since 2013. And today I launched a new podcast, series number 3, which, if you're familiar with Epicenter, is the same type of content but much more focused on the ecosystem. It involves very in-depth discussions with founders, developers, and investors of Cosmos.
So you can subscribe on YouTube, Spotify, and since we're talking about Cosmos and we're in a similar state of mind thanks to you, today with our first episode, we're pairing this interview with Federica, the founder of Facebook, who is also involved in a virtual machine on Cosmos. Some pretty interesting properties, including interpolation between Cosmos and the ecosystem, and terrariums within the VM ecosystems. So, I invite you to listen to this interview. Perhaps you also know that they had some problems with their lunch recently, so we also talk about teeth in the episode. What is Cosmos?
Kiki has atoms, hockey, the cosmonauts, it's cool. So, because of my name, I'll explain all this to you a little. But I know it's a joke chain, but it's also an ecosystem. It's successful. Here's an ecosystem of interoperable oak trees, what we sometimes call, in short, their box chains or the inter-chain.
All this started in 2017 with a toque, the one that raised about 17 million dollars at the time, and is therefore the chain that launched the first Cosmos Rocks chain, which launched in 2019. And since then, in fact, this ecosystem has become an excellent one of nearly 40 chains that are interpretable. They are all using the same software. This is an opportunity to stop using Dickey, which is a framework that allows the development of interoperable chain blocks. So, the English presidency, but I'm going to speak in French, I hope that's okay with you.
Some principles of Cosmos: firstly, each chain has its own VM. The principle of specific applications, Shine, meant that each chain deploys the code that is only used for its purpose, rather than having a VM that is blocked by a glass with lots of features and lots of code that is n't used. For China as such, we have a chain that only implements the features it needs, and therefore this reduces dependencies that are not necessary and reduces attack vectors. Cosmos is also being questioned by BHL. That is to say, there is a module, which I was talking about earlier, that allows chains to interoperate with each other, to send each other aces, to send messages to control contracts on other chains without needing to resort to So, bridges with like lines that check the status of two of the two channels, it's dialogue and the tech test, there you go, I think it doesn't surprise anyone today, a loss, a new beautiful Kenzo, rather, all that a steak is, it's the Tenkan Sen 6 with a two- thirds majority and it's Haitian fast food, so instant finality, each channel and sovereign in terms of governance but also in terms of security since each channel has its own father, it was the 7th and its security is guaranteed Thursday, Paul Nahon, since we're going to activate the security, they'll intervene in a few months, Jean, nothing to do with Twitter and its scalable, so each channel, like each channel, ultimately only houses its application and its users, we don't worry about the slight ambiguity necessary to run several applications on the same single channel, so it's a bit low if I compare it with the VM that you know very well, of course, the VM, we have all the applications that run on Manfred, here each channel, ultimately, attacked the applications and committed suicide only from its own, Skalecki, so There are quite a few terms I'd like to define because we're talking about cosmos, but ultimately it means many things.
Cosmos, and for people who aren't system experts, even for those who are, sometimes it's a bit like using... So, first of all, we have this SDK, which is the framework that allows the creation of interoperable chain blocks. It was developed at the time by a company called [domain name], which was called [domain name], but is now called King Night, and is now maintained by a number of actors in the ecosystem. Then you have the zones, which are the chains that use the cosmos SDK. So, cosmos is the first one.
Then you have Osmosis, Mosquera, Banana, this match no. 6 at Cash... So, many chains that ultimately use two unseen causes that have the key to the zones. You have the BBC, Poteau Cordes, which is a module of the cloud SDK that allows this authorized intergroup. And then you have the Arabic cosmos, which historically was called the Coz Montrabe, so it was the first chain.
Unused production in production 3 indicated is good if you have atoms these atoms are the native token of the cosmos robe and then we have the cosmos network which is a party end that I also had a sheet of metal at home that we also call for life if they win so you see there are many things that we call Claude Mossé it's a bit complicated sometimes to distinguish if we start from the cosmos ecosystem or the cosmos chain or the cosmos s 10 quays or even here are two people from the cosmos ecosystem and cosmonauts there you go so that's let's say it's a bit light if all that since these are things that are evolving the ecosystem is trying to find its branding to finally distinguish what this network is, it's a senator Claude Chêne vis-à-vis the cosmos robe Le Creusot indicated so there are potentially nine challenges that will take place in the coming months or years to try to bring To clarify all this, what's certain is that the vision behind Cosmos Rocks, as you might have noticed, was this kind of pop-dance-pop vision where Cosmos Rocks would be at the center of the chain's interest and a central point where all the blockchain blocks would transact around it. So, you may have already seen this type of diagram where Cosmos Rocks creates bridges with all the other chains and then aggregates all the other zones. But ultimately, it didn't happen like that at all. It seems much more like this: you have all the chains interconnected via BBC in a network that looks much more like the internet. You have LANs or F-Hays networks interconnected via service providers.
And what's paradoxical is that it's so dense, and it's not even Cosmos Rocks that has the highest transaction volume in NBC. Inter-company transactions, CEO Asia, what's there is even the first one, even on Cosmo, I'll explain it later, so this idea that Cosmos Rap is central to the ecosystem, finally, at least for now, it doesn't seem to be the case, and so maybe it resonates with you a bit, the pop and date vision, which is a vision of creating a network and the internet of blogs and channels, but there's a rather striking difference: the ecosystem that Moussa always wanted to be more on the side of the bazaar than the cathedral, you might know this essay from the 90s that talks about the cathedral and the bazaar, and where little is in a much more cathedral-like vision, Eastick with the Wii Light Chain which ensures the security of all the channels of the ecosystem which also require approval by the governance for the addition of new channels on Cosmo, it's much more open, so it's a market economy, and it's precisely the fact that the initial vision of the cosmos with dawns which The team had been working on it, but it doesn't turn out that way. This demonstrates, in a way, that it's the different system school that decides how the cult classics and how the network topology is structured. So, if we go back to the Dickens cosmos today, Yann has about fifteen modules, which are production modules, for his Chinese audience, and which constitute the modules: the Jose commands that allow launching a Shane blog, the module to authorize Stuff, the voting module that allows creating accounts, the BNQ, fewer players that will be created, transfers, governance, taking, slashing up, GRED, min, and so on. These are the modules that allow you to create your Shane blog quite simply.
Each module is configurable, and all of them will be based on consensus in 2 minutes, which ensures networking, consensus between the different chains, and after a month, the application is the cosmos and stick, so it's your application, your specific application that uses consensus. Moreover, we can very well use the timing coin to develop other types. Back when I co-founded a company in 2016 that did traceability in their prize pool, we used to reach the minimum with an internal ingot application that had nothing to do with it, and I don't know if it even existed back then. So we don't have governance or chain sovereignty in terms of validation. Here you have the top ten validators of the Cosmos chain, so you see that it's roughly 63% of the tokens that are Bandaid, that are one year old, that are locked in validation.
What I wanted to say about that is that depending on the chain, you'll see a pretty striking difference in the percentage of full rates that are locked in validation on the Jean Cosmos network. It's quite historic since it was the first chain, and for two years, in fact, there was nothing else we could do with this open except mention them. So there's a lot of security around this chain. So here you have the top ten validators, and if we look, for example, at a Another chain like Osmosis, which is there, mm, so I was talking about it earlier, you're at 35%, so it's already a much more recent chain, and there are also incentives for users to have their token in the aisles, even in the goals, in the political elite, by the way, when Oasis launched last summer, the number of STEC toxins, and at Kosmos, it dropped by about 5%, we're roughly at 5% who have come out of the woodwork to go for the teeth in the m, and you'll also notice that the validators aren't quite the same between Cosmos, if you look at HRE Bank quickly enough and its two, take a picture, and at the words "this," we have valves, it was 7, which are quite different, we'll indeed see the action on different chains, but it's not at all representative, it's quite heterogeneous between the chains, and when we get to smaller chains, we're on chickens, the mediator, which are quite heterogeneous, so we have Validators who are quite professional, Fig Mag, you have Chorus One, that kind of company, and then if you scroll down you have quite a few variators who are validators [Music], amateurs, even individuals, who manage to gather enough delegation to become directors. And besides, between the different channels, you'll also see that here we have 227 validators, but I think it only has 150 who can actually validate.
Indeed, the number of directors involved in the exchanges between the different channels is also a parameter that we have to put in place in the governance model. So, speaking of governance, it's one of the fundamental principles of Cosmos, as Josette indicated earlier, and we have a governance that is quite active. In particular, a few weeks ago, on one of the Cosmos channels, we had over 90% to 98% of votes on a specific order. We don't always know like that, but on posts that are very controversial, we can have governance, and it's effective. So the Users can submit proposals with a diploma, and anyone can provide this device.
Then the participants vote. We'll see if it's the validators who vote for all their debts or their delegation pool, unless the user decides to vote for themselves. So, let's say my validator votes yes. I disagree. I can offer their vote and vote no.
Vitals that don't appear. Another important module to present is the word "zune," the module case. At least one man who has one, which is a new module of the heart, indicated to us that it's not yet madness. Action plan to redeem, which is starting to become so, and which allows the development of smartphones, tracts, therefore functionalities that go beyond modules 1 developed by the core team. What's quite interesting, and what Claude Moisan says, is that these are contractions that are written in remainder, so which compiles, removed Saturday, and so that's what, yes, which isn't design since we are, so we don't have this kind of, the kind of Brioude Freebox that we can have on The VM means any channel can decide to activate the module.
Because of me, we don't have any channels that have activated it, and then it's down to the channel to decide if it wants it to be open bar, meaning anyone can develop a tracking smartphone and deploy it, or is it based on governance, meaning the tracking smartphone must first be subject to a governance vote? Or is it these folks? But here, it's the team that decides, it's each channel, and ultimately, they decide the parameters of the module. You and I are therefore what allows us to have open ecosystems. You'll see, earlier I was talking about Junho, which is a Cosmos channel where we created a module.
Because of me, my friend developed a module, a Mouazam clause, to develop tracking smartphones, and it's open. And then there are Chene, who want to keep some control to create ecosystems of quality products for users. Who is who? which serves their accuracy now to talk to you a little about the ecosystem. Well, I talked earlier about the cosmos at B2 and 2006, and finally, we have about fifty channels today that use cosmos tickets.
You'll see that there are Bynes Cohen and other channels that are also controversial. Habib Sy isn't activated, and that's the difference between the Habib Sy network and Lynch. It's ultimately the areas that use monastic causes, and Lynch only talks about channels that have activated Ayissi, that are interoperable. It's like having your own line at home. You have a network, and your router connects to the internet.
As soon as you activate Habib Sy, you connect to the internet. So that's why sometimes when we talk about the capitalization of the ecosystem, we're looking at different figures. In general, I prefer to use the Habib Sy marked with caps since it's ultimately representative of the ecosystem. The trend is in The process of being created around the Albi protocol is underway. Now, I just wanted to talk to you a little about the different projects that exist in the ecosystem.
We talked a lot about it in 2006. Who hasn't heard of it? Not just the two novices who use it. Okay, so this damn thing is worrying, even though it's based on balancers, so the same type of chickens that we find on Brender. With, today, roughly 3003 million Habib Sy transfers per month, as you saw earlier, it's the channel with the most reviews.
If you had it, with incoming and outgoing transfers, it was a big drift for the system, because before the launch of two words, this, we didn't even have it, and Bicis, and Habib Sy launched it at the same time, it was activated on all the channels at the same time as I launched it and therefore went late. There was quite a lot of transfer between the different channels and also liquidity since Terra is also active, and Habib Sy, and therefore must have cost, is now part of The NHL ecosystem and Terra liquidity were able to arrive in Kosmos and not the Oasis, and so they will activate this famous module, which will allow the development of smartphones, but it will be under a rather closed-loop model, at least for now. The team will decide on this project. We would like this project to be developed on our chain. Maybe at some point you will open it up a little to allow people to send messages from governance advocates, but they are being quite cautious for now regarding the CAC and other rather interesting innovations.
They have implemented Florida staking support, since the super cop, and I'll explain what it is, is the ability to store tokens that are in liquidity pools. So you have a token, you have the token with the native rate of this chain. If you want the staking, you can staking and benefit from the token's inflation by generating staking watts, but you can also put it in A liquidity pool, you should n't do both until it's warmer to stake, either they are developed, and from that moment the full rates that are mentioned, which are in the liquidity pools, sorry, you can also steak them, and to have them, to benefit from both the challenges and the whites of the pool, so it has to be girls or external deactivated and also hated king the wat, so that's what it looks like, so there you have some pools, so with stables that are quite interesting for the moment since the ecosystem defines, so in words, if it really is a birth, it's not even been a year since the adie flaw was actually, like, you surprise me, since last summer, and so we have feedback that is always very interesting, which plays, I was showing you a tent, so maybe multi-strategies that I like, so there you have the different rates, as every time we see indeed that on semouse is we have quite a bit of liquidity on pools on the rise, since it is known. native token and since each chain has its own hole, its own native code, what we see is that there isn't the oak tree that launches its own texts either, or in fact it's as if each smartphone taxes the white earthlings, the second example, here we have each application that will launch an index and where the assets can transit since we arrive here, in fact we don't need the bridge, the assets can transit In a fairly fluid way between the different chains, these are the stats from 2010. So today we're at roughly 1.
6 billion in liquidity. It's a bit like that, it's slowed down a bit, it's about 50 million daily volumes, which are fairly stable. Then there's Terra. Personally, I'm bullish on Terra because I think it's an ecosystem that will become one of the leading online payment systems in the coming years, at least in certain regions. There's already quite a bit of use, particularly in Korea.
It's taken off with a completely decentralized system, unlike SDC, and the elected SDT is... And finally, they've implemented a system that's very similar to that of a central bank, where you have to... well, you know... So, a bit of a push, a chicken to achieve stability, like Coyne. And there, the tokens...
its... arrived too... Part of BTC was announced, so viewing the products they create is quite interesting, especially... The saving at 40 US dollars, which is currently at 19.5%, is safe to stay without having to lock it, and they do lending on State IS, State Luna, and steak taxes.
There's a synthetic trading platform, or couple, which is actually very helpful for derivatives of stocks like Apple, Netflix, and the world. I don't use it much, but rather the 40 threshold and the lending, which seems interesting to me. So that's what you know, the sellings protocol, no, it's still safe, and so there you can deposit USD, USD, sorry, it's currently the FPI Wide at 19.5%, and we withdrew. You can withdraw as you want, in fact, it's not locked, so it's quite interesting, and it also offers Boeing, ST // debacle with STIF collateral.
It's tomorrow's country, it's banditry, finally, it's a derivative of STIF and Dubé Luna, and depending on the rates, you can be It's dropped a bit there, but a while ago the rate was actually positive, so we were being paid to borrow, and I'd never set up this little strategy that I find interesting if you want to be languishing but you want to generate hippie sheep in the indie rift, so let's say you have d and r, you can deposit them again on Lido, which means that you're actually his, his, his look in Lido, then we generate a derivative for you, which is the case of BF, which generates the same, the same return as Steak Tiff, then I can move on to Wayne Drôle if you trust, if you ask, know the flight, you arrive on sure, sure, sure, again there's a small transaction to make in fact to convert them because it's web, if France had to, it's wood, Mrs. Robi, if, but we pass you on, then you can Boro du St, well, at the time when I did it we had 3% of their time in Tokyo again, but it's dropped there, so in fact the three for We don't have his brother anymore, but on the other hand, you can take these and put them in a sale and earn 19%, or if you want the crowds, John will send you to Oasis, and there you can keep them, you can earn Falgoux, the Swabians, and for word increases, and it's transport, 80% on the price of this other very interesting project I was talking about earlier, so it's Moss, and you, me, it's a VM on Kozmus, so finally it's a VM that is based on Tengue Kenzan, it's what's compatible with Mac, and an inhabited module, a module that we are told about, so it's the first chain, the interoperable VMs of Lynch, and so the tokens that will be bridge and removal, you can send them to Libya, six in the Cosmos ecosystem and vice versa, so what's interesting with Kate Moss and the Rex Drop, which releases a mechanism, all 80% and open will be distributed to the community, they They haven't raised any funds as far as I know, and all the documents, 1.80% of which are given to the ecosystem, and the mechanism is basically if you paid, if you paid for the girls' plain on AV, or even if it doesn't work out, we were, if you do, are, if you did, rect in AC, you are, are eligible for Tocane, so if you have addresses and Terium, don't hesitate, when the channel is relaunched I'll explain why, don't hesitate, go, go, go, Clem, and also if you have others like on Cosmos you can also, thank you, by putting, so what's also interesting is that it will be launched at this pace, but also, there you go, by the Blue Chip Cosmos project, one at the CCF, and that's what would effectively allow Cosmos and Herschel assets to interact with this type of, with Blue Chip protocols which are quite interesting and which can be very useful in the development of two new applications, and it is autonomous and which are also very interesting since we have a model where the Smart contract developers [Music] also benefit from the fiz, no, rather than all the girls by Thomas Enders. In fact, with contact care, we can define that up to 5% and 50% of the girls return to the developers. Spasms in bags of yen a year ago in Saint-Yves to go and develop there since the contract and the use of the contract allows the developers to be paid.
So something happened to them, but basically they had a... well, it was a disaster, the launch of the channel. There was a bug and so they had to stop the channel to do an update. Peace wasn't made, so they postponed the launch of the channel while they solved all these things. We're talking about podcasts in Russia.
Then there's Gorik who has a very interesting project that isn't launched yet, but it's a new paradigm for smart contract development by a very solid team. These are people who have been developing distributed systems for thirty years, where you can develop smartphones, a table, so in script size, and so a... is created. A kind of system similar to MPM where you have modules and you can develop your applications, a blockchain like we develop a React application today. Quiksilver is also a very, very interesting project since they allow...
It's a zone that generalizes the staking study, so it's a zone where no matter where you have your tokens, whether they are stored on Cosmos, Heureuse, Mosys, or any blockchain, etc., you can exchange a token that is given to you, that you are staked for a derivative, and you keep your governance rights. So it will be released in the coming months, and I think it will greatly accelerate the difference in the ecosystem for us, since you have talent, you have 65% of the tokens, Jusseau, H&M, Kozlowski, his loft, Hans, the kings, and so potentially you have all this liquidity that could then arrive. There would be ten flaws, so after today in terms of Borini, de la Niña, not much, of which there is still... who should be doing Boeing with two Ether and luna, but at full native rates, like making a Boeing on soda, it doesn't really exist yet.
In any case, there's this professor, first time a protocol, who's a bit bothered at the moment, called "ou me," which allows you to make butter ring and borrow with these atoms as collateral. There you go, Joon-ho, I talked about it a bit, talent, and in fact, it's a chain, an area that will allow the development of contract seeds in 15 months, an area that has also launched its own text, as I was saying, Thaler. Finally, each chain creates its poles of dignity, and it's an incentive for its community. Then you have projects like Cash, they're really interesting. Well, if you've already deployed an application on a sure thing towards one where this kind of thing...
Cash is one thing, but distributing it, where you put tokens, and it's a network of people who make server space available for distribution. You can deploy your site, whatever you want, deployed Thursday, to deploy sites in the press, to kill it. It works very well, I might have passed some secret exams, which is a block that makes a lot of noise if you have a decentralized VPN, also shady specialized NFT channels, Blolequin that makes carbon credits have some things in common, which is a platform, ten vulnerabilities without any, it's not as safe as not quickly, just the French projects of interest here, we have a few, so there's a club that knows the club and in Kitchen there isn't really, so the man who is a kind of, like a, it's a bit of an intersection between the ten vulnerabilities and the banking system, so it's an application that would pay an investors' club but also allows you to benefit from two financial products, bank cards, loans, and so it's the dismissal, they are recovered, and then Louve Network that makes a scam or Jay Nolly can't get paid, so imagine, live your life, check, but where when you put leverage, they wait for you, they give you tokens, everyone could then use them to buy things, and then we have some validators, so there's a breeding ground for actors, which is a team Frenchman who joined the musician then Steak Lab, who is also French, who works at Bédié, who succeeded with anti- validators and interop, soon Natural Ventures, that's what's coming, I'm talking about terror, including the security chains that will be activated on the Arab cosmos, including Clint Eastwood, which will allow chains, so you want to launch your chain but you don't want to go looking for the validators who will secure you, you can border the security of the chain, Mosson clause, what, initially, and later, why not go and get the assembly of validators for you, to situate yourself, it's all alone, it allows boosting, rap is a chain in a fairly simple way, we will have the in- chains embody concern that will allow control of accounts between chains, so it's a pride of Albicy, or if you have tokens on one chain you can control NDAO on another chain or even control smart contracts, Evenos and Cylibris, perm is controlled by smart contracts, don't miss anything, the liquid taking, I talked about Thaler, not one said Fayyad and Nanning Markets are quite a lot like Bridge, especially via and via is false, and I think in 12 to 18 months there will be more than 200 zones, so the opportunity I thought I think the interoperable, modular design with specific applications is a bit like the model we're starting to see everywhere with the system, even in the VM world, where you have channels that become special, which makes me think in particular of an assist yen and other dodelet youtube that specialize. I'm quite confident too that Cosmos hasn't had its device summer yet, even if there's been quite a bit of activity since last year. The fact that Kate Moss is going to arrive, the fact that Gori will be launched, and that's going to create quite a bit of activity and paint the liquidity that's coming into the Cosmos ecosystem, I think, and that's a bit what we're seeing with French projects, since Qosmos allows launching a sovereign channel, it could be the gateway for Projects and even existing companies in finance and fintech would like to venture into blockchain but don't want to launch their smartphone, tax Earthlings, or another 9th chain because it's too risky.
I'll give you the scenario: I don't have... you're ready... wanted to launch your token? You can very well launch your chain. Cosmos S.
Dickey is the only validator. It's crazy, and as times change, regulations allow it, as uses evolve and habits evolve, gradually opening up... you connect to NBC, add validators, and to become more and more centralized... that's it. And what do I think about the device in the points?
There you go, thank you. If you want to download the presentation, it's there. [Applause] Good evening, that is to say, thank you, it was very clear. I had a question regarding governance and how you see Cosmos becoming mainstream in the coming years. If we can talk briefly about the Prob 16LA of Joon Ho and what could have...
So, do you think we could move towards a chain justice system on Cosmos that would allow it to become a bit more mainstream? And if not, basically, what do you think is missing and what would be interesting to develop within Cosmos to move towards the mainstream? So, just to explain regarding Prop Cense, there's been quite a bit of controversy surrounding Joon Ho's Pectin, and the governance actually wanted to reverse Heller Drop from the chain, which some believe had been cured, but by a user who was able to recover it using the token. I think it's [Music]. Well, there's, how to say, I think the [Music]—the fact that the coward, that Hard Rock, was gay, but it was denied and ultimately conceded—that the system, that they kind of pounced on this person.
In this case, that's my opinion regarding the governance and the fact that the governance can reach this type of decision. Well, I don't know, my position on that has been quite clear. It's that if the governance allows it, then it's possible. I'm a bit extreme about this, but governance is ultimately a reporting mechanism since it's the miners, through the validators, who have to decide whether or not to implement the code. It's not a linear or green process.
In this regard, the harvesting has to happen, and there's a human coordination mechanism that has to take place for the public vote to occur, so that people in the ecosystem want to vote for it. Ultimately, the train is eliminated, and none of that person's votes are accepted, which I personally don't want. Well, it's a shame, but in a way, the same thing happened with the terrariums during the derby, except we didn't have the governance mechanisms to do it. It's just that there was a big " ning" signal on social media, on forums, in the specifications, and we decided to implement the degree of [unclear - possibly "that" or "that"] which reignited the debate. What is it that...
What happened is a fork, no, actually I don't agree, and it might happen on Juno, and if it goes well, so be it, that's life, that's how it is, it's like in the real world, if we're not happy we can, we can ally with another party or we can live somewhere else, thank you very much, it's Bastien, thank you to you, thank you all, thank you to Exalte once again for the welcome.
