The 10x Jurisdiction What You Need To Know About ADGM Real Estate

Good morning your excellencies, ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guest. Welcome to Abu Finance Week at ADGM. Today, today I'm happy to talk about ADGM real estate transformation and how we supported the jurisdiction as the fastest growing free zone. Last year, our district expanded to more than 12 million square meter by merging both El Maria Island and the Rian Island under one jurisdiction. This made ADGM one of the largest financial free zone.

But this was not only a map expansion. It was a vision that brings together where people work, live and belong. Creating one connected community with lifestyle, business and opportunities all in one place. In our real estate expansion, we focused in three main pillars. Regulation, AI, technology, and ease of doing business.

We built an ecosystem based on common law supported by flexible rules, a strong and friendly digital platforms for our users. In one year, we launched more than 120 digital and paperless services for everyone in the ecosystem, individuals, investors, banks, developers, brokers, and more. With AI and automation, these services make the real estate journey fast and seamless. Today ADGM is the first in the region to introduce to introduce services that will never been exist before including virtual cent purchase services that allows you to complete the transfer of interest real estate ownership fully online with no physical presence required. We also created more innovations that support modern transaction such as subleasing models and future interest and this is only the beginning.

Now let me share with you few numbers because this year had been our busiest year. Our total real estate transaction value passed 18 billions dirhams. Sales alone increased by 128% compared to the last year. We registered 13 new developers enter into AGM jurisdiction and more than 21 new development project making this one of the strongest year for new supply. Even with this all even with all this new supply our occupancy across both district is more than 87%.

showing a healthy balance between supply and demand. This number shows a strong market with strong demand, strong supply and a strong future. Looking ahead, our mission is to build the Middle East first full integrated financial urban ecosystem. We are improving transparency, market intelligence and real estate data to support confident decision making. We are also enhancing the quality of life investing in infrastructure, services and sustainable development.
