uh we are going to go ahead and uh introduce some of our uh afternoon workshops that'll be happening across the courtyard uh so we'll have our panelist or our guests come up and share a little bit about their workshops and spend about three minutes or so talking about it uh our first guest I'd like to welcome up is M maharo fukara of oashi welcome thank you hi I'm masahashi founder and also I'm a professor at the KO University KO University in economics for Tokyo economics so maybe just let me just ask a questions have you ever thought about how your activity could could just you know influence others for generations to come and the father do you have any mentors who just shape your current environment education must be the key however as we know many people cannot be accessible to education education May many people say it's a public goods however in the reality it's a kind of combinations of public goods and the private Goods by using token economics and the blockchain Technologies we think we revolutionize this education funding system recently we have just supported by Italian Foundation the next billion F so we have just got a tons of just new insights how we can change a world a better place with education so from just any across the street I'm going to explain how to economics change the world in education and the father we are going to do some just walkshop how just we can make it oh how we can make it sorry now it works yeah so so how we can just make it so we just you know with our just you know my just you know just member by the way just Taro T is here yeah so in you know he was at my Leadership School when he was at K kis High School then just you know he just joined Oni just project because he think education is for free just for just know for everyone please think about to economics how design works and so on so please come to the workshop thank you very much so I'm waiting for you thank [Applause] you okay and next up we have Noah of Dow welcome Noah hi guys um so the work shop we'll be having there is introducing pagoda pagoda is basically a new new Comm Community Asia wide community and um I think one question that may be interesting for us to think about is should decentralize decentralization have a different narrative in Asia how is the we we talk about decentralization all the time right but we're often coming from uh uh but but considering the local context considering all the different communities that we're building across Asia either it be called for Japan gzero or others should there be a different approach to decentralization right so this is something we're going to talk about Pagoda is a community that uh talks about how uh decentralization should be different in Asia and also building public goods uh initiatives around Asia with cross country cross community efforts making Asia basically uh a a Concrete Network that where we can basically help each other communities can help each other so if you're interested please uh uh join us there if uh Audrey's talk is more interesting please stay I think that might be the case okay cool that will be my part woo awesome thank you so much Noah okay and next up we have gimme of fabd um hi everyone Jimmy and I'm here represent by uh mhin I is the colleague of alri and my workshop will be really like short and it's in between of noas and alre so it's quite stressful but I was talking about the CES about the DAC we uh we discussed recently and why we against the global uh coordination we more into the idea of like a P2P uh like we are P P2P Maxi so yeah should be a really short one yeah that's it awesome thank you Jimmy and next up we have Audrey Tang of plurality Donnet woo well I'm mostly here just to support takah anos and uh we developed uh in the book uh the plurality book the idea of augmented deliberation uh and that sounds a lot uh but what is really means is that previously with radio and television one person can speak to million of people but now for the first time we can listen to millions of people and also get millions of people in the mood of listening to one another and we think this is key uh to democracy because if more and more people make decisions uh based on a perspective of like stereoscopic seeing seeing from the left eye and the right eye on the same thing uh considering both the left wing and the right wing like a two wings of the bird uh then uh we can see a more holistic picture uh but if people make their political decisions uh or their political actions only by impul uh then we are um degenerating into populism and so how to use these new kind of tools to listen at scale and get people into the listening mood uh that is the main goal of the augmented Liberation uh parts of the plurality book and we're very happy that there are now politicians uh or people who are running uh who were running for uh the Tokyo um the garial election actually using uh broad listening as the kind of main campaign item uh and so I'm here also to learn how it worked in practice and how we can make it work better uh in practice for more people thank [Applause] you awesome thank you so much Audrey and next up we have takahiro ano of Japan SF Club hello my name is takahiro ano uh I'm the Sci-Fi writer and software engineer and uh politician uh recently Anda mentioned as AA mentioned I ran for the Tokyo governatori election last month no this month and I use a lot of technique tech technology broad listening technology or gab or uh AI tuber technology to the election and uh next session I will I will give the short presentation about it and I beg uh advice from the a so let's uh talk with the future of the Democracy thank you [Applause]
