this video is proudly brought to you by WD with lcks our official sponsors for cohort 11 my team and I we are talking about calls what are lowle calls low level calls are used to interact with other contract or send it without using high level construct or um functions and methods so we are three types of low Lev calls we are what we call delegate call static call and we have um call so static call I just used to make read only operations only they don't M the states do call function can be used to interact with other contracts so it can be used to invoke functions on other contracts or send it when you use the do call function to interact with other contracts you it to invoke the functions of those contracts to interact with [Music] it so what are delegate call delegate calls are a type of lowle Cs they are calls that I use to be able to interact with other smart contracts so for instance let's say we have to contract contract a and contract B um Weare we deploy contract B then we now deploy contract e so let's say now contract e needs to be able to update it its own state so what contract a is going to do is to make a dedicate call to contract B and get a result from that contract B and be able to update its own state [Music]
