[Music] okay good morning everyone so my team uh me and T over there yeah there's something um there's something quite new recently the the D can upgrade um something of the trans off code some of you have heard and then we just all our trans to it's a crypto thing so one of the some of the problems we wanted to tackle today on this weekend was the first thing was about um improving user experience and obviously when you think of um one of the blockers is people have to sign stuff people have to be responsible for their own things so why why many sign when few do trip right and the next thing of course is gas obviously you want to lower the one barrier entry which is money uh the less gas you spend the better it is so um specific to our use case we're talking about our token standards and how we can you know um use some simple trcks to improve um behavior for not just consumers but also uh maybe U pro users who use the Dex often so um our product our project today actually we built by two things uh so using the EIP uh we actually did one of the most common example which is to uh B the approved in into the swap so you don't have to sign again the next thing actually was a bit new that we thought of was to um have a new mechanism for landing which I'll talk about later on um so let's get right into it I'll start with the demo so what we actually did was a little Chrome extension oh Je so basically did a Chrome extension that modifies like popular Dees so for now we only did it for UNIS swap um we added a little button that went appears when you try and confirm swap so you can actually swap without approval um otherwise normally you me there you sign again so this is actually the live website if my internet works correctly it should be able to sign in one shot so this the permit to is free then it'll appear again okay but you get the point basically you only need to sign once pay gas for once and then you get the benefit of um saving some gas so let's go back to this startet that's the main idea for the erc20 so beyond unof we also want to do it for other dexes because quite a lot of them just CL unof the contracts and then we can actually pick it in to the swaper and uh so to talk a bit about why we want to use this so how much gas Could you actually um theoretically save so normally when you use approv and transfer form and um inity about like 40% less gas usage but of course it's quite primitive testing with uh foundary and stuff uh just a small snapshot and if you want to if you're interested you can scan this later and maybe next I'll talk about the lender the product we built um another product that we built so what this does is that uh let me go to it first so let's say you have an nft that you want to land to somebody and you don't really want to trust an eser so quite a lot of mechanisms required to lock some funding in somewhere and then you still have to trust the contract to let you borrow it what we basically is that we so let me just send it to myself again so I'm going to L it to myself for one block so when the next block ends uh I'll get to take it back so basically what I'm doing is that I'm giving this guy ownership of this token ID so actually in this wallet you can see the token but subsequently later I could claim it back uh without having the guy to approve me to claim it back again which is uh extremely which is much better than um you know you don't have to trust you have you have lower trust assumptions because you don't have to trust an escrow you don't have to trust the guy to pay you back right you could actually just pay it back whenever you want so let's see if the transaction is done I don't think it's okay anyways but once it's done be able to see some details over here on the right side it will show you that um I let out this token okay just okay that's weird I think I didn't send the correct address it is so let me send it to myself so yeah basically you get an expired date and then after the expired date you can claim it back so you don't have to rely on the esro you don't have to rely on the guy and that's basically the whole idea um I think I'll skip this for interest of time and so some this small comparison again with using approv with the 721s um about 40% less as well but of course it's not really um entirely realistic because you might have more complex mechanisms in place and interested in the demo you can scan it later and so what we plan to do so this is quite a simple exercise to show what you can do with the new um uploads and um unfortunately we couldn't Deploy on the newer chains because uh the Canen evm version was not available so some of the upods were not available and the first R we want to do was expand it for other token standards so for 6551 where you put token in the token you could um have it uh work sort of cross chain as well as long as the other chain has the uput and the next thing is uh including more Dees on our chrx so we can actually use it you know for other Texas live without having the user to do anything and the third thing is to have more introduce some mechanisms with the landing because teching now is like a different Landing mechanism which you could sort of um have different uh ways to improve um like incentives for people to land in this way rather than into some pool for instance and that's it for our presentation so if you're interested you can have a scan of the GitHub and website to try it out so they both live ready you can download it if you're interested thank [Applause] you right any [Music] questions uh very good project uh thank you I really like it so uh I would like to know more about the nft landing start the technical details about it can you tell us more about it because okay yeah yeah sure thank um so basically what t and t St does is that you can modify uh you can load data from the memory sorry from the Heat and then you have a memory it can modify and then after function call ends it sort of um reverse the the change and what what happens when we uh so we actually had a custom like 721 so when you call L you basically create a scru to let um to to keep track of which expiry date it is you know so in the future you can know when to CL it back and what happens is um when you try and cl it back we we check the expiry date and if you um actually have an instance in this record in our contract you could have the temporary allowance to retrieve it so what the TLO and T store does is it increases your allowance balance at the point of time by checking if you own the token previously and and if it's the correct time stand yeah uh like a like a nft vending protocol and uh is like n contract independently all the N contract use utilize this n protocol it's just like the mechanism in the building is different we are using the the technology that we are mentioning so that there's no need for customing yes so it is just a like two more functions um you have to add on to 721s to enable The Lending um but technically the receiver doesn't need to care because he only can hold it for he can hold it indefinitely as long as uh however long the borrower before it it back right are you saying that we still need to like add something new to the original 721 contract it's it's U it's just a mechanism to keep track of who was the previous owner and that's about it um so does that mean that prly deployed and not upgradable and that cannot us this um I think you could have U some interaction another contract to sort of wrap around it but I don't we have already tested that so got thank you thank you thank you [Applause] everyone
