Pragma Sydney 2024 Recap Video

good morning everybody I'm super excited to welcome all of you to pragma Sydney the energy is really bullish uh I think that everyone's super excited especially having a big ethereum conference in Australia ethereum events are always exciting because you get a a mix of Builders as well as people who want to use these different products so when we launched crypto kitties at at e waterl it was it was just a perfect storm of exactly the kind of people wanted to be early users of our product when you guys announced that pragma was going to be in Sydney I was pretty excited because the last uh Global conference was in 2019 it's nice to have a major conference back in Sydney people are spilling out all around us uh in out of the hallways so um you know definitely uh a lot of excitement the energy the energy here at at pragma is unreal the Australian Community has been really hungry to have some large scale events here for a long while and so uh folks are are really kind of wanting to show up and support it the quality of people they pull out uh both speaking and attending I think it's a good good way to meet people you're just going to bump into interesting people there going to be interesting content e Global is really like focused on uh Builders which um you know gives us a different audience it seems to be a really wide openen Forum where it's okay to to to kind of challenge anything uh to challenge any ideas to challenge any implementations to to uh really kind of put things out there so many amazing people in this ecosystem and just bringing it all together talking to people that are doing amazing projects uh we need to bring people on chain and we need to improve the ux to do that the pieces are all there and now we just need the good apps web three I think we actually have a much greater chance of success if you can be open and and inviting from from day one we have to focus on providing a lot of utility and value to customers not just speculation and we also have to have a great user experience that keeps customers safe I think just bringing on more Builders from outside the crypto ecosystem is the number one thing we need to do to achieve Mass adoption because I think within the crypto ecosystem we are very insular a lot of the time I think that just bringing in more developers from outside is the way to do that the advice I would give to first-time Founders is just jump in start doing things start talking to your customer um chase the promise that you see in the sense of if you see people excited about something run after [Music] it take your time because it's not just about the build it's it's the whole process [Music]
