energy my name is Flo kin and I'm absolutely delighted to be your host for this stage we are also delighted to welcome you to adgm and the capital of capital where Insight meets Innovation where ambition finds the resources to thrive and where we are gathering at the Crossroad of possibility and vision in a space where the future of Finance is being reimagined it's truly exciting to have what promises to be another exceptional edition of this oneof aind event and this year marks the Third Edition of Abu Dhabi finest week and the event Adventure Park and the entire Hub 71 ecosystem have seen remarkable growth and we're going to talk about that here on stage it's also my third time at Abu Dhabi Finance week and over the years I had really that privilege to see what happens here in the capital and speaking about bold ideas impactful Ventures it goes without a doubt that we have to shine a light on no one else than Hub 71 their main partner who's bringing the Venture Park to life and to share more about hub71 and its role at Abu Dhabi Finance week we are going to have now a hub 71 team member on this stage she really embodies that Spirit of Entrepreneurship and Community she is the community and operations lead at hub71 the owner of the startup journey and she's really a passionate person when it comes to connecting Forward Thinking entrepreneurs with the resources strategies and the networks that you need to succeed so please join me on welcoming on stage Divia Claudia ner [Music] welcome I always love your intros BR this uh always makes my day well it's wonderful to have you here Diva good to be here now let's start with this it's the third edition of Abu Dhabi Finance week and I'm sure you all aware of that it's been weeks and weeks of planning how does it feel when you finally step onto the stage step into the event well we've been it's been weeks of uh hard work and good collaboration with the phenomenal Partners actually to make this all come to life so it is rewarding it's rewarding to see it um there's going to be some great conversations good speakers that are coming to share their insights so yeah we're excited it's definitely rewarding to be here and see it all come to life and we're seeing it all come to life now we have a new location the concept has been truly elevated we're above street level which is really exciting tell us a little bit about Venture Park and the entire Journey that you've put together yeah so ADW last year reported about 18,000 visitors um which is quite incredible really making Abu Dhabi the regional and international hub for business right and today at the opening ceremony if you were paying attention I was Excellency Ahmed Al zabi talked about this being the capital of capital but being a place where Innovation happens right and this is what the Venture Park allows to take place it's Innovation there's amazing speakers you have investors and thought leaders coming together and having real meaningful conversations so over the next few days you're going to hear people share insights about market trends and what's happening and I think to have a space where people can come together and have real tangible opportunities for growth is what this is all about and it is truly exciting and wonderful to see how it all comes together let's talk a little bit about hub71 as a community and operations lead you're following really the Journey of the startups as I mentioned so therefore you're really a good one to explain what hub71 really does yes yeah it's my favorite topic so for those of you who don't know hub71 is Abu dhabi's Global Tech ecosystem we have over 330 startups that we support through our programs through mentorship through incentives and Investments as well they range across 24 different sectors and um while we do where sector agnostic we have launched specialized ecosystems and so this happened last year where launched a specialized ecosystem for digital assets and another one for climate Tech now what this ecosystem looks like is having the right investors the right corporate Partners government entities and Regulators all coming together to be able to support startups in that vertical to grow in scale so it is exciting and we have a lot of Partners we have a phenomenal value creation team we actually sitting up front here that manages these Partners right because we're talking over 100 different partners across our Capital Market talent and government institutes bringing this all together is how we're able to support ands scale our startups but I think for hub71 the heart of what we do is for our startups they are the core of our business and um we have one of the best community of Founders they encourage each other they support each other and if anyone is free this week and you come up to the 15th floor that's where Hub 71 is and grab a coffee you will feel it you'll feel the spirit of collaboration of innovation and Founders supporting each other I always love going to HUB 71 because it's the vibe it's exactly that buzzing vibe that yes we can do and we're making it happen spirit that you can get there you mentioned that you have these different ecosystems and I know there will be one launch tomorrow and she's not allowed to tell you what it is but maybe you can just give us an idea um I can but if you're here tomorrow you will hear the announcement we will be launching a new Hub Plus so yeah when you're here tomorrow you'll find out which one 12:15 that's what I can tell you it's one that you everything we have some great panels some good Fireside Chats some good discussions that's going to be taking place right over over here we also have our startups that will be pitching at what we call our fundraising Road Show so tomorrow from 2: to 3: p.m. and Wednesday from 4: to 5:00 p.m. and uh we're also going to have startup boots at the back and our day three is actually in partnership with one of our partners hashed they're going to be talking about all the fun things web 3 blockchain real world assets fun stuff like that it's going to be good it's going to be great but you forgot one
