[Music] good afternoon ladies and gentlemen we would like to take this opportunity to take to thank the to thank His Highness C she khid and Muhammad for this great occasion and the chairman of uh adj uh my presentation right now I don't know whether you can see it in the somewhere here uh is on the Abu Dhabi sustainable Finance uh from the late great uh His Highness sheide sustainable Finance vision and Beyond Abu Dhabi has long been at last you tell me thank you Abu Dhabi has been a leader in sustainable Finance with its roots tracking back to the vision of of the late great His Highest Sheik zah bin Sultan Al nahan the founding father of our Beloved Country the United Arab Emirates sh Z's commitment to sustainability is often remembered through his wise charismatic leadership developing the U sustainable infrastructure while preserving the environment and culture Heritage a Heritage for him and uh as he always mentioned that when never who has hasn't got a past hasn't got a future uh the vision which embraced the sustainable use of resources and the well-being of future generation has played a foundational role in shaping the ex execution of the U financial and economic strategy over the successful years during his leadership and Beyond uh we are happy that to see that everybody from our his generation to our generation right now following the footsteps of our founder Abu Dhabi has long been Abu Dhabi has long been a leader in sustainable Finance with is RO tracking back to the to one of the major challenges in transforming uh the Leo region and many others was the lack of fresh water resources shik Z and his government invested heavily in advanced irrigation Technologies to make desert farming possible this included among many other things the drip irrigation the introduction of drip irrigation system allowed water to be used efficiently delivering precise amount directly to to plant roots reducing water wastage at that time Desolation plant given this the scarcity of natural fresh water His Highness initiated the development of desolation plan to provide fresh water for agriculture ensuring consistent irrigation throughout the year underground water wells large scale digging of Wells helped tap into the UAE underground water reserves which were used for irrigation and was a huge success that we are witnesses as we witness today his high has invested heavily in project that Balan modern infrastructure development with with respect for future these foresight evidence today in the UAE drive towards diversification sustainable energy res resources such as the creation of adjm Mazer City in Abu Dhabi one of the world one of the world's most sustainable Urban Development that is happening in our modern days in the decad following his Hite passing Abu Dhabi has continued to expand on its Vision turning sustainable into a key pillar of his economic and financial strategies ABAB commitment to sustainable Finance is visible in several key uh initiative the Abu Dhabi sustainable week the mother City and energy init initiatives the sustainable Finance it framework and of course our adjm today as following the vision of our great founder we also would like to see the Abu Dhabi role is sustainable Finance in the green bonds and climate Finance in line with the global Trends Abu Dhabi has tapped into the growing green bond market which has been increasing embraced by investor looking to fund environmentally sustainable instrument in the UA helps Channel private Capital into project that Focus environmental uh conservation renewable energy and low carbon Solutions uh many visions and Beyond the UA vision for 2021 which was initiated well after sh his sh Z passing reflect his vision for a sustainable and diversified economy the vision aimed to position the UAE as a leader in sustainability and promoting clean energy reducing carbon emission and advancing Energy Efficiency sustainable Finance plays a critical role in the realization of of this Vision in conclusion the sustainable Finance Vision set forth by is h shik z B suan Al nahan continues to be a guiding principle for the growth of Abu Dhabi and the UAE and it advances towards a Greener more Diversified economy with global recognition impact through combination of strategic Investments regularity Frameworks International collaboration Abu Dhabi is becoming a pivotal player in the global transition to sustainable Finance this Vision rooted in the late great hish sh through understanding of the independent between the environment economy and Society will undoubtly leave a a lasting impact on the UAE and the World At Large thank you very much ladies and gentlemen and if you have any questions to me I will be happy to answer them oh [Music]
