NEXThave workers Yes, at the presentation, I plan to do it in Japanese, so I'll also be doing this summary in Japanese. Okay, so my presentation is about Visual Analytics for Erlang Intelligence. Erlang Intelligence focuses on how to extract the insights necessary for thinking about R&D strategies. To do that, I think it's necessary to analyze various kinds of information, such as scientific and technological information. That's where we at valuNEXT come in.
Visual analytics involves lending out data and analyzing it. In particular, our company, valuNEXT, places great importance on taking a bird's-eye view. What I mean by taking a bird's-eye view is that when we look at information, we often only look at a small part of a large amount of information, which is a waste. So first, we try to grasp the overall picture of the information that interests us, and then we look at what is necessary. I believe it's important to analyze information more deeply, so we value taking a bird's-eye view.
We apply this bird's-eye analysis to scientific and technological information, and we regularly extract information for research strategies, so I'd like to introduce some of our methods and examples. Specifically, there are several, but the first is that we actually collect research papers on design and then visualize and analyze the overall picture. The reason we chose design is, of course, because this is a design-related topic, and also because it's a very emerging concept. In fact, there aren't that many papers yet, but I'd like to introduce an approach on how to pull out research information to grasp the overall picture, and how to understand the overall structure. Another is how scientific and technological information papers and patents are utilized in the research strategies and new business strategies of actual companies, and how Visuality 6 is utilized in that.
I would like to introduce you to you. After introducing these examples and our approach, I hope that you will recognize that scientific and technological information such as papers and patents is very interesting and useful, and that you will be able to make use of it. I am sure that in the coming movement of DES and metascience, many different people will be involved in the research process, and the research ecosystem will continue to expand. At that time, I think that even more new information other than papers and patents will be coming out, so analyzing that will be the next theme, and I think that how to analyze such information will be the next theme, so I would like to provide you with reference information in that regard. I will be giving a presentation in Japanese at a separate venue, so if you are interested, please come.
I think that many of you will not be able to come, so if you are interested in this topic, please feel free to talk to me during a coffee break. Thank you.
