We're going to wrap the stage. But I'm going to take advantage to just say thank you to all. I changed the name. We went from ETH Dam to Common Sense because I wanted more common sense. I wanted an event where we could be connected through values and not through a ticker.
I wanted to signal to the world that privacy, security, and DeFi are still in places where we can innovate, and build, and work on. Um I wanted to say that privacy is common sense. That self-custody is common sense. That censorship resistance is common sense. And that as we all stand in this room, and I and I look at all of you, and I know that you're you're building that you're you're one is building on working on building a nation.
One is building new projects. One is working on making better security. I don't remember you. Oh yeah. You're making a for schools badges on own dash.
You should have submitted your Zcash project. I saw it. You would have been amazing, Sharky. Like I see I know, but I see all of you, and Laura, of course. Every Thank you, Ilya, and thank you, Kieran, for coming and sharing so much about Railgun.
Thank you to all the privacy people here. Thank you to Firo. Thank you to Zcash. Thank you to Zano. Thank you to Railgun.
Thank you to Privacy Pools for just and Nym, and Logos, and all the others for for pushing the needle forward. I know that when we all go back to our homes right now, and I'm going to be so sad. I'm going to miss you guys so much. It's going to be so weird. Oh.
Thank you.
I didn't think [laughter] I was GOING TO GET I DIDN'T THINK I WAS GOING TO GET EMOTIONAL. I DID NOT PREPARE for this at all. Um But basically I put my heart and soul into this event because I wanted a place we could gather and where I could feel at home. Where I could be surrounded by peers. Because I feel like crypto sometimes even though I have these amazing meetups every month, sometimes crypto feels really hard and really disconnected and sometimes I I I am discouraged.
Sometimes I am discouraged and I do wonder where we're going and what what we're doing. And I refuse to do a fintech event. I'm not interested in that. And I really truly believe that if we build with intent and if we stick together and if we support each other in this room then we can truly build a better world. So, thank you so much.
Thank you so much.
[applause]
It's it's a wrap for this edition. And several times I considered that this was maybe the last the last last edition for me. But I know I can't quit. So, if you want to tell me where I should organize Common Sense in the future, just DM me. Thank you.
