so now having said that right I I have a little confession to make um as I mentioned my name is Chuck I'll be your MC for today and uh I come from an organization called mymp so I have to admit I'm a bit of an outsider when it comes to blockchain okay uh yes I have a metam mask uh yes I've wasted money on game coins in 2021 or so um and also you know uh I have my own luno account which I have not seen in in a very very long time but I think um when when I come in here and I see the work that you guys do it's something very fresh for me it's something very new for me because I'm not in that space uh I'm more in the NGO space with a little bit of a dab into the blockchain space so here's something that I've noticed there are two sides to blockchain as far as I can see it on the one side which is unfortunately what the public sees is your or what's the price of Bitcoin today you know um what's the support level uh let's go to the Moon um let's buy a a Lambo right so that's one side of it and uh the other side is something that I did not see until maybe mid 2021 and I have a shout out here um Hari from eth KL introduced me to A Whole New World right and this is a world where you're talking about the technology and what it can do you're talking about some intelligent optimistic uh hardworking people trying to figure out how this technology can fit into this space how it can actually change the way we deal with technology um close opening borders that you know people have put around us uh finding new ways to make things Equitable so this part gives me a lot of Hope seeing all you guys here today with this uh tag line of decentralizing uh Harmony a building decentralized Harmony sorry is something that's very very nice for me to see and I hope that you guys can carry on actually yesterday is the first time uh I been I came to the KCC but uh lot of people know I live in K already for a really long time and really like here um you know like uh Manta start like 2020 like four years before um from United States uh the founder are not all of the f owners are not or originally from States but uh actually we grow as a like a startup over there but after spent seven years uh and last since last year I moved to K and I don't want to go back uh because you know the real adoption I see real Builder is actually in the in K in Southeast Asia and we want to support them um yeah and today we we have something like you know sharing about Manta because you know probably we sponsor this event and um we like to support a builder but a lot of Builder like still asking what is Manta right just give some like U uh like random like uh brief introduction so first is about modular like you know um blockchain start from Bitcoin and uh start from you know like uh it's only Bitcoin coin right now is only a token there's nothing like really serious stuff building on bitcoin uh I mean like until maybe early this year but I I still think you know all of this like uh uh bitcoin's meaning is more like uh kind of it's like gold it's saving the asset but ethereum actually make developer building new things uh but you know like ethereum and all the lay one blockchain is basically let all of this uh like basically they build the whole everything start from beginning until the user facing like uh uh platform but uh for Mana uh since like uh last year all of I think we are the first uh modular blockchain which is user facing like uh uh smart contract platform or it's like user facing blockchain but we are not building everything we use ethereum security uh we still have like native ethereum as the gas fee but uh we are basically uh you know build the still build a platform make make it faster cheaper and easier to use uh that's basically our goal and keep doing like all of the product we've been doing is make user to use it and uh that's how we uh we align the ethereum ecosystem we want ethereum been keep using in the ecosystem and using Mana as well uh what is the Manas powerful because we are block modular blockchain we we don't have to like uh build the whole stack we don't have to build like uh we don't have to save data on the like uh on on the like manal network but all of these data using celestra and uh like which is also a modular block chain and uh but all of the stack is using the op stack and we are also having the like uh DK fra proof on top of this op stack to make fast finality so this is basically the tax stack to make like uh to make from user side they just feel is faster and cheaper etherum but underline we are like combine all of the top and mature technology into the like mental Network uh and you know like uh a lot of people heard Manta in the space because of the like early this year uh I think we we gave pretty like uh welld designed like we did the TV game and pretty well-designed T game and uh acquire a lot of user get a lot of traction but I will share more like uh what's happened after that you know since early this year we start to build a community in Malaysia and in the like uh southeast Asia on the TX side and the like uh uh other different kind of like product site what will we look like first like we still building for users uh we introduce multia so before we only use slra SDA but right now there's six data block like we can save data in six six different blockchain or you know like a DA provider so it's actually make the data faster like easy to like uh much cheaper to save and uh from user side nothing change and also it's more secure uh and how how is the different compared to like uh uh you know in the same environment of etherum how much data we been save like uh this is on the Block Explorer we have this special page basically there's like uh more than like uh I don't know right now I think right now it's around like 10 10 million like gas fee we been like safe compared to you know user using eum as the like uh minet but all the environment is the same we still post data on ethereum but we just provide this better PL like a easy to use platform um and also recently we've been keep building different products and this is the most recent product we building in the whole Layer Two like landscape as you know user when using this like uh uh when user using the Manta Network they've been consume ye as gas fee and we are using Manta token to basically incentive the user uh who consume more gas fee who will get more menta token so that's actually I think only happen for the like uh uh for the for the blockchain when there's a user facing like incentive and uh and the only like ready fueld platform doing that but the idea we do that is because you know uh we want to offer the the user like to come on board get real experience but at the same time uh they can see like they save the gas fee but they can even get more and also like not only for user we also fa having the product facing the uh Institution which is the Manta cd5 so we combine the C5 and D5 so like all of these uh major mainstream token they can save in the like uh custody but at the same time there's like liquid staking token on top of the blockchain and uh which is also like similar to eina but uh there's no liquidation risk and uh that's like basically can generate a native yeld and and all of this like user all the user right now like can get experience of this like uh uh ins institution level of investment but at the same time like uh get the institution level of Y but at the same time you know save the asset into the custody which is safe we work with binance uh but the like the basically the the they also have the rst token called M token like mbtc is and us and that can use in the whole Mana Network in the Dex in the other places and also get a native yeld so besides that I think that's what uh Builder are really focus on uh we have a 50 million ecosystem fund and uh it's being keep like getting application from the foundation s so basically right now the Manta like cev team just keep building the different product for user facing but at the same time like uh the foundation keep support new builders on top of like uh build on top of manta but we are not like uh uh just one Builders only exclusive on M they can keep doing on etherum if they grow big or other any other layer tools but uh we want to help basically new Builders or those Builder um cannot get VY money but uh they can can like uh actually build a good product and the grow with us uh yeah so actually one great example is like Stak Stone which is rst like if uh most of people using Manta I think you know like uh probably heard of steak Stone uh which is like really interesting story the founder has been like uh struggling like PIV product and Racing for two years and uh like uh eventually we know each other since like uh kind of late last year uh you ethereum event and then like uh I'm really product person I feel this is a great product and then like we just see like how can we like work each other and at that time you know the founder don't even have much runway and he used his like own credit card to pay for the like uh audit fee uh but uh eventually even he his product get through audit and uh like working with us we acquire like more than 1.5 billion tvl together we became the top three L2 in the like all the TV game uh with our partner but uh like uh eventually they got investment from binance Poli CH and everyone RIS more than 10 million so this is a like story I think you know all of the builders uh all in Southeast Asia I find you know like not all of the project wec can invest but you can see like uh their Sana ecosystems project like Jupiter they didn't rise much but they can still grow through like uh good Revenue stream good product Market fit that's what uh we are Ving to support uh yeah I mean like uh it's the focus on different landscape and uh uh basically what we can do is help like the project grows together and the reason is we've been here for four years and uh we really focus on like uh not only English Community but General like a Regional Community in different countries uh because our team is really diverse and uh our user is really diverse and and that's the what like scalar talk about like great things about ethereum as well you know like it's open platform anyone can from different countries can use that uh and uh right now I think we have like our largest community is actually in Indonesia right now uh and uh we've been keep like supporting this community and even right recently in the ESL we sponsored the Hackers from the like uh in India come to K to like build together and uh also Vietnam like uh turkey and Korea all of these countries we have strong Builder like Builder community and the community support us yeah and uh what happen right now is you know we work with different partners uh but all of these product what we are doing is like for the user facing and eventually we have have like more than 200 ecosystem projects and uh uh after like one year of the midnight lunch and uh like we also have a really interesting Community like the reason we build product is not only like uh just for uh you know just for make users feel or how can we make money in the crypto this is not sustainable but we also build product to to make users have fun enjoy the product and uh like see the interesting things about the blockchain and uh eventually this is like uh what we've been keep talking is menta never stop and uh uh you can see I wear this t-shirt you you all get it from the like uh
