[Music] good afternoon your highnesses your excellencies ladies and gentlemen it's a pleasure to be part of the Abu Dhabi Finance week program I wish I could join you in person today though I'm grateful for the chance to share in the week's conversation and I look forward to visiting Abu Dhabi in the new year the UAE is rapidly transforming into a vibrant Global Center for growth and Economic Opportunity and we see incredible promise in the future of the region at bny we oversee more than $50 trillion in assets for our clients for 240 years we've been creating new solutions for businesses communities and people around the world while remaining resilient through change and we've proudly served clients in the UAE for over 25 years our first office in the region was in Abu Dhabi in 1997 we then expanded our presence to Dubai registered with the Dubai international finance Center and established our Abu Dhabi office within the Abu Dhabi Global Market today we have a fully fledged branch within the adgm we recently announced our increased offering in the region through a category 4 license enabling us to deliver more products and services to clients within the adgm over the past few years the UAE has made significant strides in promoting a stable and open economy as well as a robust and resilient Financial system which has contributed to economic growth and we've been pleased to support in the development of its capital markets landscape the world noticed when the UAE took a Global Leadership role in promoting sustainability through the government's dedicated focus on the topic in particular in hosting cop 28 Additionally the UAE national AI strategy and advancements in digital economy present tremendous potential there's a very promising future ahead in the UAE and I'm excited to see the progress that we make supporting clients growing across the region we're committed to your long-term success as businesses and individuals continuing to tap into the rich growth opportunities that exist in the region I'm sure that you will have engaging and enriching sessions today and throughout the week thanks for letting us be a part part of them thank you [Music]
