We're at the Polka Dot booth here at ETH Denver 2025 and there's some cool apps coming. Can you tell me a little bit about that? Yeah. Yeah, for sure. Um, a few of us in the Polka Dot Community Foundation are building a new mobile app.
It's a super basic beginner friendly app for people to on board to crypto and web 3. Uh it features very easy sign up, very easy uh usage for setting stable coins and making payments. And I think kind of the big thing is you'll be able to use crypto to pay in store. It's a little bit different than a debit card that many other people are kind of launching, but the positive thing it's like uh non-custodial uh there's no KYC or other identity things involved at the start and also super low fees. Um so we are launching it hopefully in a couple weeks.
Um, and there's about a million stores, million, like I said, a thousand brands in the US, a million stores in the US. Uh, we'll be launching to other countries shortly. That was going to be my question. How does a business actually get into this? They need to do something special.
They need to actually be in the polka dot ecosystem. Not no not at all. We've partnered with a company called Ray who are actually also behind here somewhere. Um, Ray just completed a funding round. I think they raised 34 million.
Just announced it yesterday, day before. So, um, we've partnered with Ray to kind of provide this functionality. So, um, if you're a business looking to get on board, you can contact Rays. Happy to put you in touch and, uh, go from there. All right, guys.
So, if you're a business and you want to actually get into F3 the easiest way possible, make sure you're contacting those guys. Is it a hard process? Is it anybody can kind of get on? Uh, I mean, I think if you're a legitimate business that I think they're they welcome your business, right? Yeah.
Yeah. It should be easy enough. All right. So, make sure you guys are checking this out. If you want to get into web 3, this is the easiest way to do it.
