[Music] welcome if this is your first eth Global uh event welcome we're happy to have you and if this is your second third or 10th welcome welcome back happy to have you again uh EST stemble will be this will be the first time we actually have an event in EST stemle so really looking forward to it and the community has been really really a great supportive this past you just I guess a year or so planning um and uh yeah just really looking forward to everybody can kind of coming back and getting together so uh so yeah this is our beginners Workshop I'm just going to cover like some very uh uh hopefully uh ideas and uh ways around the website that'll help you if you're completely new to website haven't looked at it hopefully if you have you know you've checked it out like this is I'll start sending some links in here but um you know this is our hacker dashboard and so if you haven't been on here already definitely definitely do this um and uh you know this is kind of where everything's this is the the lifeline of everything that happens so you know we'll have uh you have a little notifications here about when to submit your project and stuff um you know they overview your team if you want to invite team members to your team you know you can click click view team and then you'll be able to uh you know to share links and tokens uh for people to to join um um as an FYI we have around, 1300 hackers that are attending and so we as a result of that we had to close applications earlier than expected uh just because of the venue capacity we're only able to you know to admit so many people right in a venue um without it becoming a you know fire hazard and so if there was anybody that you know you wanted to join that hadn't staked yet or that hadn't applied yet Unfortunately they won't be able to to uh to join at this point um so but that that's okay because you know if somebody wasn't able to attend you can still you know this we'll have two team formation sessions next week uh virtually uh Monday and Tuesday in the morning U um excuse me in the morning Istanbul time so um trying to give people as many opportunities as possible to uh to connect beforehand as well uh but then also you know so whenever you do whenever that does happen you know you can uh invite people by giving them entering their their name their email and sending them the code uh but you also there is um you know there's in the Discord the find a team Channel this is people have been you know providing their information who they are what's what they're working on what they're looking for in terms of team members so if you haven't done this already you know definitely check this out as well uh in order to to see these DSM gold channels which I highly recommend you all connect your hacker dashboard to Discord so to do that you just go back to the dashboard and then there will be a button that says connect to to you know to Discord uh in purple around here so um that and when once you do that then you'll be able to see all these channels and you'll get the U you know you'll get the istambul uh role in Discord uh so I definitely we definitely encourage you to do this because once the act the event does start happening you know the um the information channels the the event schedule channels this will start populating with all a bunch of announcements the workshops that are going on um and so it's just really really really important that that you all you know are able to to uh you know to keep keep it keep keep up with what's going on at the event once it does happen um and then eventually next week either today or next week we will open up the uh the the partner channels as well so all of our partners will be will be listed here so you'll be able to reach out to the dev RS from each of the partner teams and so if you're not sure you know who the partners are or what the prizes are you can always click on the partners tab here um and sorry my internet's been really slow today on the site so it might take a little while for it to load um but once this does load all of our partners if you haven't seen this already all of our partners will be listed here and then each of their prizes uh why did it do that you we just go to the prizes page instead you can click on you can click on the these where you can also just you know scroll down and it'll eventually it'll show up too but uh you know here we have of our partners listed on the left hand side and then each of the prize amounts that they're given as well so uh once you scroll down over here you'll be able to see exactly the finer details of what partners are offering in terms of their prizes what they're looking for in terms of requirements um so I would suggest you all you know now is the time to to really start thinking about what you want to work on if you haven't done this already uh that way whenever next Friday happens at 9900 p.m. uh local time in Istanbul that's when hacking begins then you can just start hacking start building you don't have to worry about thinking on what you want to work on or you know if you want to join a team so we definitely encourage you all to take advantage of this time leading up to assemble to really think about what it is you want to to hack on and uh if you want to form a team or not and of course you're able to to hack solo that's certainly not an issue as well um but uh but luckily a lot of these the P the partners they do have you know the resources for you know their portals documentation but a lot of them also do provide um ideas project ideas that they would like to see uh be worked on on their on top of their on top of their Tex stack so this is another way you know for you to kind of get those get those ideas as well if you're if you're unsure of exactly what it is that you that you do want to work on um and the other thing if you if you maybe uh you kind of you're not really sure what you're getting into right so if you go to our Twitter um and then the highlights tab this uh kind of lists all of our past finalists from our from our events uh from in-person events from our online events so if you click on any of these and click on the threads open the threads you'll see exactly you know what uh what the fin lists were U what their project was if you click on you know their um the the the image it'll take you to their showcase page so whenever you're done with with your you know whenever eth Global istan buul is completely finished all of your information for your related to your project the description the your your demo video If you make one uh your you know screenshots and everything it it'll be posted on our showcase page so this is something that you can you know share to potential future employers um to your communities uh to to anybody really and this can be found in the Showcase tab here on our website but um it's really it's a really neat way to kind of just showcase what it is exactly that she worked on on um and uh yeah just just really cool just cool way to to kind of highlight you know what what what happened at the event so I'm gonna go and send this link that way people can take a look at it but yeah it's also really good I think good way for you know inspiration as well if you're maybe unsure what to what to work on you can kind of get a feel for you know what the finalist did at our past events um and the other thing is our YouTube channel has a ton of resources um so this is actually the the New York playlist but I mean you can always go back to um let me just see if I open the these Global playlists U you can see each of our events all of our different workshops all of our The Opening Ceremonies the closing ceremonies beginners workshops from this is from watero um and then yeah so you know if you've got the time you know these workshops are also really good resources for for ideas or even just how to work work on a particular partner's Tech stack as well so you know of course in N we're going to have our own workshops as well Friday afternoon from about 2 to 6 6:30 pm. before hacking actually begins um but uh you know if you can't wait for that or if you want to just get started like you know learning this information like definitely check out what's going on with on our YouTube uh playlist for past events so I just sent that in the chat um and then the reason why I also brought that up too is because I mentioned the the past finalist in the on the Twitter the Twitter feed so you know one of them one of the the videos is you know it's a closing ceremony so you know if you do become a finalist uh at Edith Global estambul watching this will really give you a good idea for what it is exactly you you will be doing so you know the top 10 or 12 uh 13 teams of that are that are selected as finalists will get to do a live demo during the closing ceremony um so who what's a live demo so I mean you know you'll kind of get a feel for what it is exactly that hackers are are working on um during the uh during the closing ceremony after the ads finish playing um but again this is is also it's a really good way to just to kind of watching these past videos I think is a really good way to kind of give you a better sense and feeling for what to expect uh when it when it comes to the event um even the opening ceremony we the opening ceremony that we have at um on Friday uh evening around 7 or 8:00 pm that's you know we definitely encourage you all to attend it especially if this is your first hackathon the opening ceremony will provide you all the rules guidelines information around what to expect for the weekend um so I mean for New York we have that you know here um and so you know cartic will go through like the judging rules and everything so again if you're unsure what to expect you know I think the best way to really kind of get get your get your hands around the grasp of what the what to expect is watching these opening ceremony closing ceremonies videos um and this information a lot of this information actually can be found on the uh on the website as well so if you go to info so there you know the rules around how long can a does a do we get to present to the judges what does judging look like what are judges grading us on in terms of their criteria all of that can be found you know in this Ino information tab so like rules project submissions and judging um so yeah if if you've never done an eth Global event definitely take the time to also re through this as well like I mentioned you know it's it's also covered in the uh the opening ceremony video that I just showed from our YouTube page um but the really nitty-gritty finer details of what you can and can't do uh is here as well not not to mention like because we have you know top finalist prizes we have the partner prizes just partner prizes only so there's a lot of different uh there's a lot of really specific nuances to you know how how how the events are run so you know knowledge is power right the more you know the better um we you know a lot of I get a lot asked a lot of questions about the demo video uh I mentioned that you know framed uh they were a New York finalist they their demo video was was uh published here um and uh it's go back you know this one actually I re-uploaded for them because they're how their project was it's kind of a unique scenario um so it's actually less than two minutes um it was only 44 seconds but it's the point of their their video it's completely different um but the the the main thing is this is that you know um the the video is really helpful for you all to share for partners so um because we do live judging you know uh Sunday morning and it's those in front of two judges in the judging room but uh partner if you do partner prizes that's going to be async so you'll go to you know to partner booths as well but um having the video gives them the ability to really see exactly what it is that you're working on so it's the video isn't required for projects and missions but it's certainly helpful to have a video I think so um it's it's highly encouraged but again not required but you know if you want to make a video then you know you're going to have a lot of helpful tips around around this around what to do for a video as well um so yeah let me go back okay so if I go back here then uh the next thing I wanted to really cover is the uh the mentors so if I click the m mentors tab this the mentors are here to help you all you know get answer any questions you you may have get unblocked with anything from a technical perspective the partners you know whenever we open the partner channels in in Discord the um the the dove rails will be there too to answer questions the partners will be there in real person as well you know at the at the venue um but maybe you you can't get up you don't want to walk all the way to to the where the partners are at the venue you want to say your ask I mean you certainly you know message them in the uh in the chat um as members of the team will you know will respond to the queries but um the uh the mentors aren't affiliated with a particular partner they they have experience from previous uh previous hackathons or previous hackers um there some of them are founders co-founders of companies have gone on to raise money for companies um so uh you know they're there to to help you all out to to get unblocked and anything that you you may be you may be stuck with so they'll be wearing bright yellow vests walking around the venue there will also be a um uh there'll be a mentor station that I'll show you a little bit in the venue map but uh they're also be walking they're encouraged to walk around and just to kind of poke around and see ask people if they have questions need help with anything but all of their their information their Discord handles their their Twitter Twitter handles the skills that they're they're good at and you know all this information is here so please definitely take advantage to to look through this uh and familiarize your s with with what they do as well um and IID mentioned that there was going to be a mentor uh a booth so I click on the venue map or excuse me the the venue tab um and then yeah if you're unsure what what to you know where is if you get lost we'll have there will be um you know Maps placed all throughout the uh all throughout the the venue as well uh but clicking on the venue here of course it's at the ICC it's the little Congress Center uh but then if I go down here you you know you basically get a better idea for what where everything is so I mean registration you you code the registration here you'll go downstairs and then you'll pick up your swag item uh and then this is where everything's happening so here's the mentors uh table there'll be hacking space here hacking space here hacking space here all the partners booths will be you know covered around here um and then yeah Sunday morning know the partner prize judging will be located here where the partners are at main project judging will be here then of course all of our different Workshop rooms we have the chill room the chill space if you've if some of you have been to our events before you know that Friday evening we open up a chill room it's first come first serve it's not luxurious you know five star accommodations it's you know inflatable mattresses and some pillows and blankets but if you you know you're looking for just some quiet time step away from what's going on you know the hacking um you know you're more than welcome to to come and chill out here for a little bit uh as well but just keep in mind that you know it's it's not it's not luxurious the venue will be open 247 whenever whenever registration starts on Friday at 1M uh and this goes on until Sunday you know until like once once the closing ceremony and our Afterparty finishes that's basically you know till 5 or 6 PM is when when the venue starts closing up so uh again you're more than welcome to stay here we encourage you all to stay just to you know get take advantage of being being in the environment as much as possible U but of course you are able to go you know sleep at your hotel room or wherever as well um so yeah that was that let me see and yeah the if I go back to the schedule everything you know the the Le Global the the website the assemble website I mean you could pretty much any questions you you have do you'll be able to find them here um and this just as a general reference I mean it it really does have a lot of information of course you can always message us you know in the esto Discord channels as well but um if if you're unsure of something chances are it's going to be here um so we definitely encourage people to you know to read all the information here that we have on the website because it it is available um but H one thing I do wanted to mention is like you know the the schedule like workshops they start at 2 p.m.

um and they go until 600 6:30 so we'll have four different Workshop rooms and each of the workshop rooms will be running simultaneously but they'll be from different partners on various topics so again this is also great resource and opportunity for you all to get ideas for what to work on in terms of projects uh you can start beginning making connections with the partners as you know as early as you know 2m um and well even earlier once once we open the partner the channels in Discord you can of course start you know making connection connections and reaching out to them that way as well um but uh but you know this is we really encourage you all to take advantage of the workshops that are going on just because of all the information the content and resources that that are coming out of these out of these um out of these workshops and then hacking uh well excuse me dinner dinner will be at 6:30 so this will be the first meal that's provided um and then basically you know there there will be a we will post what the the meals are going to be as well that way you all have an idea like what what's going to be you know on the menu um but uh there will be snacks drinks you know water uh sodas throughout the weekend as well too so of course you're if you're able to um to to bring excuse me let me turn off something sorry I'm just G to turn off The annotation so hopefully nobody writes stuff um and uh excuse me so yeah dinner's there the opening ceremony again as I mentioned take advantage of attending this it has a lot of information there hacking begins at 9:00 pm 9:00 P P.M to 9:00 am on Sunday mornings when it ends so that's a full 36 hours which we think is more than enough time um as long as you're you have the team ready you have your ideas ready once 900 p.m. hits like that's that's the best way if you're if you're still thinking of an idea what to do Saturday morning it's going to be a little difficult um so we definitely we know we have these a team formation brainstorming session after the opening ceremony as sort of like a last last opportunity but we we really encourage folks to to have their ideas thought out and teams formed well beforehand uh just to give you as much opportunity to to focus on hacking your project as possible um but yeah if I go all the way back up you know Saturday we don't really have much going on it's uh there's a brunch there's dinner we have a project feedback session with our mentors from 3: to 5 this is an opportunity for you all to get feedback on you know anything that you want you can just present what you currently have to the mentors or you can you know ask them questions but you should also think about this entire weekend you know what one meeting with mentors uh or even Partners you know just to ask them anything that you want you know ask them is this a good idea that I want to work on or do you think I should do this or you know what do you think of this U they're there to help you they're there to make sure that you cross the finish line Sunday morning you know with flying colors and a lot of confidence so don't be hesitant to ask them anything you know that that you want to ask them um that's what they're there for so yeah just try and take advantage of of that as much as possible uh but this is the the feedback session is a really good session I think to attend because it does give you it's an opportunity to see kind of how much you've progressed over the the past you know um you know 12 16 hours uh since hacking began the previous night um and then yeah Sunday morning you know projects are due 9:00 a.m so uh it's 9 9:00 am that's kind of we we we strongly recommend uh teams to submit projects a lot earlier than 9:00 a.

m. if you do it at start doing at 8850 or start recording your video at 8:50 you're going to hit a lot of traffic on the website and so we don't want that to happen and then you become stressed out and it's just it really is frustrating uh to you especially so we encourage you to to start submitting your projects you know two hours at least beforehand uh that way you have the time to kind of chill relax and just take it all in um instead of stressing yourself out because at 9:30 that's when judging begin so uh no you're fine Ally um yeah and actually I don't even get rid of it but but yeah no it's fine um so yeah it's uh see yeah no that's all right um oops somebody so yeah uh it's uh um project submissions can be pretty stressful uh so yeah we try and encourage people to to submit it as early as as possible um and uh yeah and then judging begins at 9:30 so we will you your hacker dashboard will will update with with what what it is that you um where where you're supposed to go for for judging um and then partner judging will also start a a secret in the C as well so usually people what they'll do is they'll they'll do their project judging their live judging with the two judges um and then after that they'll do the partner judging they'll go to the partner Booth whichever partners that you selected prizes for that's how you'll how you'll do partner judging so some people don't do both they just do partner judging or they just do you know the live finalist uh judging that eth Global has um it's totally up to you but um you know it's that's kind of the the format that people do choose I will say that it's um it's easier to um oh excuse me yeah there we go it's easier to focus on just a hand full of of partner prizes versus a ton of partner prizes just because of um of you're trying to do too much at once right so you don't want to when you're focusing on your projects you don't really want to try and uh do 20 different partners uh Tech Stacks included into your project it just there's not enough time and I think it just becomes con too convoluted and too much in terms of what what it is trying to do I think if as long as you stay f simple stay focused on what you can achieve over the weekend that's the best strategy that I've seen so what does that mean it could be you know if you're you're trying to incorporate I think uh maybe three or four different partners uh Tech Stacks into into your project um anything more than that I think it gets a bit a bit a bit much so uh just something to keep in mind but I mean now that you have the time you know to go over the you know the partner who the partners are what prizes they have um you know you can plan you can plan accordingly you can start building can't start coding you know now but um you can start planning accordingly and uh and you don't you don't have to have to use partner prizes as well I mean the um it's it's there if you want if you're aiming for a particular prize from a partner but uh you know a lot of past e Global finalists um they none of not not everybody has incorporated like partner prizes in in that way so it just really you know the overarching theme of the events e Global is you know on on boarding developers into the web 3 ethereum space right so as long as it's built on top of the ethereum stack you know that's that's that's all it really matters so um don't don't feel like you're you're forced to have to build on top of of a of a partner um and then ult ultimately you know the I guess one good thing to to mention about that is you know the the main point of the events isn't to also just you know maybe win prizes and and everything it's it's about you know how are you growing as a developer you know if as long as you if you if You' come this far to attend an event to apply you know to to build something to learn like that's sort of the uh you know the the success I think I I see it as that that you're kind of on the road to to continued success because you're learning you're growing uh you're sharing your ideas with uh with others as well so um as long as you're doing that I think then that that's that's that's the best outcome that can happen after after our events are finished um so that was that one thing I wanted to also mention is um if I go back to events actually sorry so let me this is something I forgot to mention guides so we've had guides for a little while now so a lot of our different partners they've provided guides on you know how to how to how to use something what's what what they're about uh and this this is starting to gain more and more traction and notice from our partners so you're going to start seeing a lot more guides from a Partners in case you're unsure how to do something um but one thing that that was that I we started recently was all you need to know about our hackathons so send this in the chat but this is a guide that again kind of talks about what I've been talking about this whole time it's a bit it's uh still it's it's very much a work in progress It's never going going to be I think completely finished just because of you know there's there's always things changing with our events and things will be uh uh tweaked but this really if you have questions about staking why do we why do we require staking or uh even team formation or the idea of brainstorming and kind of where I was showing about if you forget the links from that I just shared in the zoom this um you know the the successful eth Global hackathon Experience guide is is a great resource to go to go for again uh planning for an iners event you know we talk about you know if you need visa letters invitation it's bit too late for this now but um meal snacks the we don't have showering facilities in our events some people I'll ask about this a lot uh we do suggest you know Finding local gyms though for any free day passes if if um if uh there are any gyms close by uh there's a vitalic had a you know packing list whenever he travels so you don't need to bring your whole closet with you um but this uh I wrote this guide to hopefully provide hackers you know a bit more idea of what to expect in terms of you know before the event happens when the event happens and even after the event happens so um if anybody has any feedback or thoughts around this then definitely of course you know let me know as well um and just so I do this but this is the hello global.com email address that's what I I monitor that so if you do have anything need help with anything you can always send an email there and I'll respond to you um with uh with whatever it is that that you need help with so that was that go back events the other thing so on the Thursday we do have pragma Istanbul and Cafe Istanbul as well uh for those that may not know pragma symbol is completely a separate event and it's more for aimed for like investors CEOs Founders uh we do have hackers that attend as a hacker you do get a uh half off yeah I think the the tickets was only uh60 or $69 let me check yeah as a hacker you get six it's $69 so you get everything uh it's this pragma is more for networking but U again it also has a good opportunity for for people to get um you know ideas for what they want to work on at at at our events so this happens at the interno Contino hotel in STO so it's not too far from from the venue um so that's something that's going on but then also there's also Cafe Istanbul so this is geared more towards hackers and we use this event really as kind of like a a little meet and greed for hackers so it's an opportunity for you all to grab a bite to eat uh some coffee you can do some co-work in here um but it's basically you know all day team formation brainstorming session so if you've been chatting with somebody on Discord um and the finite team Channel and you you you've become teammates the cafe asemble is the perfect place I think to to meet each other for the first time or to catch up before the hackathon actually begins so um you know it's it's open for a good amount of the day and we'll have mentors on hand as well um but uh it's you know it's really kind of just a chill space for for folks to kind of get together before the hackathon actually begins uh and safe will be uh partnering with us on this as well so if you're looking to work maybe with the safe as a tech stack then you know definitely you know come here and you know just ask them questions because they'll be available they'll be on hand the dev RS from their team will be there to help you help you out um with any questions you might have for for safe um and it will be at the ICC uh I think it's on the fifth floor so it's conveniently in the same building as where the hackathon venue is going to be too so um and yeah there'll be food and drinks uh throughout the uh throughout the day for it as well so uh definitely check it out you can it's only confirmed hackers can apply for this and attend this so if you want to bring friends that aren't hackers or that aren't confirmed to asend stano then they won't be able to to attend uh just because we have to limit it based on the venue capacity of of of the space but um you you are able to sign up you know on the spot uh as well but if you want to you know do that beforehand just make it easier that we already have your information then you know we suggest to to do that click a high to attend uh here so I'll go ahead and send this link in the chat too um you think go back so yeah that was that was basically all the information I wanted to share um does anybody before I kind of go on I think with anything else does anybody have any questions uh if you do feel free to type them in the chat or take yourself off mute um and I can answer them right now no questions I think that's a good sign hopefully hello hello oh yeah yeah yeah yeah thank you for the introduction my question is like if we make a submission uh can we make changes to the submission I mean like apparently it's before the deadline yeah yeah yeah that's a good that's a good question so yeah actually yeah you can um let me go back here I'll go to the uh the project page yeah so the the deadline is 9:00 am Sunday and then you can basically make changes as much as you want up until you know 9:00 am once once we close the project submissions um and this could be like you know the the title The the Emoji you use the project description the video um any of that can be can be changed even even uh the partner prizes that that you select for uh that you that you want to uh apply for um once this loads if it loads yeah I I mean like uh I checked on the videos and stuff uh like uh I think at the end there will be like a final submission and then you need to confirm and then you know something with pom P saying that you know congratulations stuff after that submission we can still make another submission is it well you're uh it'll be I guess you can you can still like resubmit it won't be like another submission but you can you can resubmit yeah like if you if you if you click that congratulations your Project's been submitted then uh then yeah it has the popup and like the little confetti and stuff um yeah but then yeah you can you can still go back and edit the the title or um the video or whatever as well yeah as long as oh sorry as long as it's before like 9:00 am or when we close the project submissions then then yeah you're able to do that oh basically the you know the uh following submissions will just override the previous submission pretty yes exactly exactly yeah yeah okay cool yeah thank you very much yeah and so yeah if you go to project like right now it's not all of the UI is open up yet um so there's some stuff you can't you can't uh fill out yet but you can like right now you could put like your test you can enter your test project name uh and some like how it's made maybe or description what kind of what you're thinking what you want to do um and then as you as you progress further then you'll be able to um that you'll be able to provide like the images the screenshots your text act the that you're working with and stuff um but yeah this we don't the full the project this full page won't open until Saturday morning that's when you'll be able to really just enter all the information but right now it's only it's very limited in terms of what you what you can provide uh Neil had a question will all projects presentations Be Live or only those of the finalists yeah oh excuse me um yeah so the uh what you're going to do and actually I just go back to the guides I think this is in the guides too but you'll um when you do everything is basically live so in the sense that whenever you're um what do okay yeah like project submissions judging so like these are people like uh hackers get lining up for for in Paris and then you're you're actually you are presenting live to judges so this was the Tokyo hackers um whenever we do 9:30 judging that's when it begins you'll uh you're getting in line and then you're assigned to a judging room right and so we'll have about 12 different judging rooms I think depending on the number of Judges we get but there's usually two judges per room and then a volunteer will greet you they'll check you in and stuff you wait and then you you you you get your laptop set up and everything and then you're you're you're presenting live to the judges so you're actually walking through your your demo doing whatever you need to do you're not you're not uh playing like if you made a demo video you're not playing that that's just so we can post it on on the show on your showcase on your your the page for your our showcase page and then if Partners if uh they so they can look at it as well if maybe you don't have time to go present to them or something they'll still see that information if you applied for a partner prise so they can they can look at your video which is why I think it's really helpful and useful to have a video and in case you know um partner prizes can can they can see some they can have something to refer to because partner judging can be a bit chaotic because there's just so many hackers coming down uh you know around that time um so we try to make it as smooth as possible but you know that's why we say like having the having the video is helpful but uh whenever you do like you know theth Global judging like yeah it'll be live and then if you're selected as a finalist it you will you will do another live uh live demo on the um on on stage during the closing ceremony as well um so yeah it's it's live in those s in in that sense that that you're yeah you're actually presenting something um this is only different if if it's an online async event uh that we have that's that's the only case where it's a little bit different it's not necessarily live oh yeah any other questions one thing I did let me uh I mean people have probably already seen this but let me just get get our their city guide link to you as well um of course def connect has a has a city guide too but this is blocking it how is the food managed uh it's U so there'll be catering um there'll be you know like Friday there's a dinner Saturday there's a brunch and dinner and then Sunday There's Sunday I think we have I think it's just uh breakfast and lunch on Sunday but yeah there will be um there will be you know those meals will be will be throughout the days and then there'll be snacks and Waters and drinks throughout the day as well that'll kind of be restocked as as it happens um will the recording be sent out the recording for this uh elain uh this is being recorded so yeah it's uh it's being recorded it's on it'll be on YouTube and it'll be added to like our basically our YouTube channel uh actually you can probably see it right here um but uh but yeah it's it it'll be on our on our YouTube YouTube channel go back so yeah for the uh for like the the the meals and stuff Sunday Sunday we just have the brunch sorry I I said there was breakfast and lunch but it's actually just going to be the brunch on Sunday and then the closing cocktail party uh let's see do we have a chance to present our project to other hackathon teams uh sorry let me do we have a chance to present our project to other hackathon teams joined in the event I'm not sure I understand the question Ally oh I miss I miss rohan's question Ally could you clarify the question then rohan's question was will I miss anything if I leave by 4M on the last day uh no so we the closing ceremony we do that's when we announced like partner PRI partner prizes so closing ceremony is the um the finalist will present and then after the finalist present all the partner prizes will be announced so um yeah again if you win a partner prize you'll you'll receive an email as well and then you could also if you have to leave you can also watch the recording of the the closing ceremonies on our YouTube channel um so you technically won't miss anything but um you know if you are if you do win a prize then you know you'll get to be there in the moment when it's announced if you win something um but uh but yeah either way like you'll you'll receive information uh about about that yeah and yeah Ali I don't uh the question I'm not sure what that what you mean by that and yeah in the closest CER like we do get ask a lot of questions around like stake returns and stuff so uh we return Stakes you know within two to three weeks after the event ends we uh part prizes are the same thing we will distribute partner prizes or winners um you know around two two three weeks after the event ends you it's getting to the point where it's a lot sooner than that U but the the actual specific date will be announced during the closing ceremony uh in the slides so that would be announced so we have the feedback form we we send this feedback form um because it really it's uh it's just uh excuse me it's uh it's really helpful for us to get feedback on how our event went whether it's good or bad you know the more we know the better so the the we generally do a raffle for a swag item if people fill out this event or excuse me fill out this form too um but uh but yeah it's uh that'll also be be part of the like the closing ceremony and the emails that happen afterwards as well let me see [Music] so uh one one last question uh so I do understand like it is kind of easier if we want to build some application and and and you know create a demo for the application but if we we are trying to work on something for the protocol you know to to create like a new protocol or something uh it might it might be harder to demo would would that be kind of accepted uh you know yeah yeah it's so I mean it's it's your preference I think um you know that's something you have to you'd have to take into consideration right you know if it's if it's something newer uh you know it's is the is there enough documentation or resources available to help you maybe get unblocked on something that if you if you get stuck uh on something um but I think like in terms of judging you know it really it's going to depend on the judges it's kind of you know it's very much um subjective right to to who who it is and kind of what what their background is and what they're looking for but uh you know from what I've seen some because some people may not get to the point where they can actually do a live demo but the the idea that they've got that they've the the architecture behind it or whatever it is that they've done it's really incredible it Wows impresses the judges uh other folks maybe that you know they they've their their working demo product is just really also maybe really Incredible or maybe it's not it's working but it's it's kind of been done before it's been seen before so the judges might like well you know this you've got it working but I've I've seen a maybe hundred copies of this um in previous events or um hackathons so uh yeah I don't know if that answered your question but I think it really just it's you know it's a risk um but I think if if you're feel strongly about building on something that may be quite new then i' say go for it um yeah did answer your question yeah yeah you you you did uh so because uh I'm I'm just trying to build something you know as a new protocol and I'm just afraid of uh if if I get enough time to to create a demo for it but but yeah thank you for for answering yeah yeah yeah no problem and yeah I mean it's again because like one of the uh if you go to and I guess real quick like this is I just sent this link to city guide that we created but you know if you're not if you're completely new to Istanbul definitely you know check check this check this out it also links to the um to the def connect uh their their schedule and city guide too but yeah if I go back to like the uh the info page um and again like yeah sorry my internet's just been really slow today like if you click on this this uh Tab and you scroll down you'll see like exactly what judges are going to be uh grading grading projects on so to give you kind of a better idea exactly what what it is you know you know they're they're they're looking for um to hopefully may this might help you I think kind of steer you in the direction like well you know it doesn't have the wow factor or you know can I if I if I can get to that point can there are other ways that I can make up for it right and maybe maybe the originality isn't there but the everything else is is Flawless type of thing uh somebody had their hand rais but I think they went down but if you have a question you know uh you can certainly ask it uh Ali's question oh sorry yeah no uh no you just answered my question um okay judging criteria page oh okay awesome 's see Ali's question I like to have opportunity to show my project to other teams in the hackathon not just the judges my question is whether oh yes yeah I mean there isn't a specific time like where you can do this but you're certainly uh you can do this you're um you know I think it it's good to for for you if you want to share your project what you're working on with other hackers to kind of get their feedback too um usually at the end whenever you submit your project uh in the the project page submission page there's a link that you can uh it'll it'll it'll there's a
