We live in a world of growing uncertainties. Uh so there will be ups and downs in the world economy. But clearly uh among the regions that are going to be the drivers in what I call the next wave of globalization, uh the Middle East is going to be prominent. So my name is Bolo Lva. Uh I'm the president of the smart city observatory based in Switzerland and also the founder and CEO of Decart Institute which is also in Geneva in Switzerland where we're a think tank.

So we try to look at different industries around the world and we put together global indices to rank how countries and cities do visually each other and uh being in Abu Dhabi was a must for us because the dynamism of the local economy the growth the innovation are clearly ahead of many other parts of the of the world. Uh I've also had discussions with many people who have established operations here and are clearly excited by the the possibilities that have opened to them since they made that decision. uh and places like Abu Dhabi, like uh the UAE and in general are really among the uh upcoming competitors in a number of fields not just in finance uh in other areas where uh intelligence matters, artificial intelligence and human intelligence when cultures can can meet uh and crossbreed and generate new ideas and new visions of what uh tomorrow can be. Uh, this is a place that will make it smart. [Music]
