[Music] greetings it's wonderful to be with you uh here today I'm David Hunt I'm the president and the CEO of Pim the $1.4 trillion dollar manager of credential Financial we at Pim have been investing in the Gulf States for decades and it's been our great privilege to consider many of the large institutional investors around the region to be our most important clients but one of the things that's really changed at least for us over the last couple of years is our understanding and our recognition of the amazing transformation that's happening in the UAE the dedication right from the royal family down through the government through the public and private sectors has been really remarkable uh it's been a incredible dedication to really changing the economy me for the better and we're very excited about the opportunities that that will present for everyone for governments for the private sector and for the emirati people themselves and as part of that we felt that in order to continue our journey here we actually needed to be closer we needed to do a better job of connecting and therefore at the beginning of this year we uh launched an effort to open an office here in Abu Dhabi to make sure that we were doing our best at listening at partnering and being here directly with you and so I'm very pleased here that this summer we have out formally opened our office and we continue to want to expand and broaden our understanding of the entire region for us importantly we certainly lead with the areas where we are worldclass we are the fourth largest Bond manager uh in the world we're the third largest real estate investor around the world and so for us those are clearly places where we can help but we can go beyond that too we do a great deal in growth equities we do a really important investing in infrastructure uh and we look very closely at a full range of public and private asset classes that we think are going to fully develop in the economies in the Gulf region and so for us this is a beginning of a new phase we've been here for a long time but we'll be here in a different way and we so much look forward to partnering with each and every one of you thank you [Music]
