Hey guys, how are you doing? Come on. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks.
Thanks. Thanks. Um I'm going to go back. Um um this is World's Workshop. I am Matteo from TFH.
Uh we're the labs that build stuff for World. Um and I always start this talk with this. Uh I think this is a is a great great moment for humanity in general. This is Peter. He built open claw claw bot.
Whatever name he wants to make right now. Maybe uh now Uncle Sam uh will change his name. I don't know.
[laughter]
Um and this is a moment when I I personally saw that something was going to change for us as a company uh for World, right? Um cuz that that interview and what he built made a lot of people understand what is going to happen in the next 5 to 10 years. Like a gentic economy and a gentic internet is is is a thing. We are I would say 1,000 steps ahead of everyone outside this room cuz we're building right now stuff with that. Um and yeah, my workshop today is going to be about World ID, mini apps or mini kit, and I will be I'll be introducing agent kit.
Okay? That's going to be the last one. If we don't have uh enough time to talk, uh you can meet me outside and we can chat about your projects, etc. Um so let me give you a an overview about World ID um and why this is needed in general. So, World ID solves this thing that is called proof of human.
You might have heard about that one. But basically, the uh easiest behind it is is we're flooded with AI tools, AI agents, and AI Sorry for the words. Uh I will try to make this as funny and close to me as possible. So, if you have questions, you can raise your hands and ask anything. Um right now, that number isn't updated.
Maybe it's like 75% of internet traffic will be bots, probably. Uh CAPTCHA, as you've seen here, is not working anymore. Uh and it's not going to be working anymore with uh the advance of AI agents. Um and we need a way to prove that you're a human online. And that's what we've been building with World ID.
A way for anyone to prove that they are unique and they are humans. Okay? That is the very basic understanding of what World ID is. Let me close this. So, it is, in my opinion, in the future of global I would say humanity or humanness, not identity, because we don't know who you are.
We just know what you are and we know that you are a human, not a bot. Okay? Um it helps you again, prove that you're a human online in the protocols that integrate it, of course. Like you can't just go to the internet and say, "Hey, I'm a human, bro." Uh okay?
Um it's very secure. It's privacy preserving cuz we don't know who you are, so you still keep your privacy. Okay? It uses a lot of math and CK proving and cool stuff that I won't talk about, but if you want, we can talk about stuff about that one. Um and it's it's going to be extensible to many many many different things uh related to the internet in general.
Like any project, any app, any website can now integrate World ID and generate proofs and ask their users to prove that they are humans and unique. And that enables you a lot of different use cases that we want you to build and that are being built right now. Uh but the for the purpose of the hackathon, we want you to build them. Um so why this works. So, we make sure that you're unique humans.
That limits the accounts because you're unique. That means you're one human. Okay? So, it provides you with civil resistance. And that unlocks a lot of benefits that that the idea is for you to imagine those benefits.
Like, for example, unique benefits to unique you humans. For example, like I don't know. Uh giving 1 month free Netflix access to unique humans. Okay? Netflix is benefited for this because they are not gamed.
They can give a lot of benefits to their unique humans, right? And many other things. How do you integrate ID kit? There are two ways you can interact in the internet right now, maybe three right now. But but in your phone and in your computer and with your agent.
But let's talk about the first two. Um it's very simple. If you're in your phone, you'll see you you'll integrate this. You can add a button that says connect your World ID, sign in with World ID, whatever you want to call it. It'll pop up a a QR uh a a drawer that will go to World app.
Okay? You will tap that button. You will share the proof that you're a unique human. We will prove that you are that human part of the network. And then you are connected and then you your proof is uh shared in a very privacy preserving way.
If you're a desktop, you'll do the same thing. A QR code will pop up. You'll scan it. You go to World app. Same thing.
Tap a button. Share that you're a unique human part of the network and you'll be done. Okay? I mean, kind of simple, but I I always wanted to show these things because it's the way for you to like visually understand how a user will interact with your apps. Uh how do you integrate this?
This is kind of simple. You need to go to the developer portal that we have. Uh you can go to the docs docs.world.org.
There's a button top right that says dev portal. You go there. You create an account. You create your own app or project. Uh and you generate your uh RP or relying party uh project and you can generate you can integrate the SDK into your project.
You verify the proof in your back end. Very important. That is a requirement for the hackathon. Uh verifying proofs. We don't want you just like to integrate the SDK in your front end and just tell me that you did it cuz I'm going to check it.
[laughter]
Um and yeah, I'm not going to do the technical review. I mean, I'm doing the technical review when you're uh presenting your project. So, please integrate uh uh verify the proofs in the back end. Uh In the dev portal, as I said, you can generate create your app. You will either choose you want staging or production.
I will recommend you to always go to production uh for the sake of the hack cuz trying to prove things on World chain uh testnet is not that great and it's very very cheap. Do it on mainnet. If you don't have any money, go to the booth. I'll send you cents so that you can you do stuff. Um and you have two ways of verifying these proofs.
It's either on chain or cloud. Not cloud. Um if if you like on chain stuff, you can do it fully on chain. Of course, if you're doing that on chain, you don't need to verify your proof in the back end. You can you just do it on chain.
And if you're doing in cloud, uh you do it via REST endpoints. Um and yeah, it's supported in all these different lang uh platforms. React, vanilla. You can do it like natively in Kotlin or Swift, Rust, and EJS uh supported also framework. You can use it there.
Uh we just changed that to a a mono repo, so it's like completely integrated into the AI new ID kit 4.0. Uh I just talked about this one. Uh and I'll talk about the mini apps uh part. So, this is the third track we have.
It's a I'm going to talk about tracks later, but the second thing you can do with World is integrate through mini apps. So, what are mini apps? It's the way we we enable third parties to get the distribution that World app has. Okay? Basically, you inherit World app's distribution.
You can leverage our commands that I'll talk about them right now. And the idea for you is to offer native-like UX to their users. So, basically, what mini apps are are wrapped front ends shown in World app. So, if you know Instagram, when you pop when you tap a button and it draws up a website, you can navigate through the internet, that's what mini apps are, but for World app. Okay?
The idea we want here is for you to make it like an app, not a website. Okay? So, when you ask your your agent to build your app, tell them make this mobile first. Or you can build it mobile first, too. Um So, what are these commands that I just talked just talked about?
You can go and use the verify verify command. So, that verifies that someone is doing a certain action. Okay? This is not a login option. Okay, a login method.
But you can, for example, if you build a voting app and you want your users to cast every vote and be a unique human every time they vote, okay? You'll integrate the verify command and every time they want to vote they'll need to verify as you see in the screen uh in order to vote, okay, for each time they vote. For example, um you can have three different states, let's say, of verification. Uh the number one and the lowest is device verification level, okay? That means the user has downloaded World App.
That's it. The second level is document or secure document. That means that the user has uh connected their NFC ID passport with the network. That means I am a user of a country, okay, without revealing any data. This is fully privacy-preserving.
Uh I'm a user of of some country, but the drawback here is me as an Argentinian, I have an Argentinian and a Spanish passport. So, I'm I'm not unique, okay? So, the third level and the highest one, the most reliable one, is orb verification level. That means the user went to an orb, did the verification process, got their orb verification level World ID. That means he's a unique human, okay?
So, that That's the three things you can request to users uh every time you use verify command. Then you can use the bake command. Remember, this is all for mini apps. You can use the bake command. The bake command lets you receive money from your user.
This is fully sponsored by us, so you don't need to pay any gas uh on World Chain, okay? That's cool for everyone. And the only thing you need to do is in the dev portal, whitelist the address where you're receiving that money, okay? It's a very, very simple way for users to send money to you instead of selecting the chain, the address, blah blah blah blah blah. Boom, instant.
One button, that's it, okay? Then yes, uh sign in or wallet auth or C way or whatever you want to call this thing, the primary login method, it's basically using sign in with Ethereum um to make sessions for users and uh a login method for them. You can if you like them, you can use Privy there to login uh and enable that for like for example, I don't know. If you want to build a mini app, you want also to have your work to your web app, you can integrate Privy, make the user sign in with C way in World App. And if they come through let's say your website, they can use Privy with their email and then you associate both and you have the same user with either email or uh World App address uh signed in to your project.
You can use the send transaction command for more complex uh stuff. If you want to, for example, mint a token and send that token to your users or if you want them to send you something in exchange of an NFT, for example, uh you can use send transaction. A caveat here is that we are using permits, okay, instead of allowance approvals. Uh Oh, sorry. I thought someone asked something.
Um we're using permits. This is very important. So, that means if you already have an existing project that uses uh allowances, you're going to need to change that into permits. Uh if you don't, that's cool. You can just build it using permits.
If you don't want to know what permits are, you can go to Uniswap permit two website and check that out. You can send notification I'm going to start going a little bit faster. You can send notifications from for users using World App's distribution. You know, World App has almost 40 million users, uh 10 million uh monthly active users. You can send notice to your users to make them go to your app.
Uh you can integrate it with World Chat. So, basically, we built the in-app chat using XMTP in a very privacy-preserving way. Um And from your mini app, you can redirect your users to World Chat uh to talk with each other or talk with you or talk with whatever you want them to talk with. Uh but why to build a mini app? Right now, mini apps have in more just more than 1 year, 2.
1 billion opens. Yes, with a B. billion uh 170 million dollars have been transacted WLD or Right now, prices are quite quite low, but a lot of money has been transacted inside mini apps and they have uh more than 300,000 daily active users. Yes, daily with D. Uh also, we are u- users uh use World App in more than 194 countries.
Uh in total, we have 38 million total users. 18 million of them are verified with the orb. So, they went to the orb and did the verification thing. And I would say it's it's more than 7.5 million monthly active users.
I'll I'll I'll go with with like nine million uh monthly active users. That's a lot of people going to an app and be having the ability to see your mini app. Uh to give you a reference, uh World App is the number one uh mobile wallet globally. Uh this is back in August 25, uh but I think it's still that way. As a reference, Phantom Wallet has uh 300,000 weekly active users.
weekly World App, as I said, has 300,000 daily active users. So, that's more almost 7x as they have. Um and the mini apps ecosystem has more than 600 mini apps live, more than 2.2k uh builders in the network representing more than 35 different countries. And I hope it grows bigger right now.
And to close this, I will introduce you to Agent Kit, our new SDK, where you can delegate your World ID to your agents with S. So, I can delegate my World ID to my Insta Claw, to my Claw Bot, to my Clawed. They all have the same name, sorry. Um but you I you can delegate your World ID to your agent. So, that unlocks a new set of different stuff you can do.
This is released like 2 weeks ago, so we are looking actively for you to build interesting things with this. Uh no one's has done it before. Uh you're going to be part of the first generation of people building with Agent Kit. So, I'm very excited about that one. Of course, with the other two, I'm excited, too, but this one is new and I always like new stuff.
Um so, it's very seamless integration for you. Basically, you give your agent a wallet, that's by yourself, and you register that wallet into an address book, okay, of this agent is being backed by me. That will pop up a QR code that you'll need to scan with your phone, okay? Or if you're doing it in your phone, you'll just long press the QR code, and that will redirect you to World App, make you sign the same proof as you are doing a verify command, uh and that will enable this agent or this wallet being controlled controlled by an agent to uh act as if it was you. Uh you can do it that with I think it's more top with three agents right now, but it can be infinite.
Um and yeah, this enables a lot of use cases that maybe one of them uh that I wrote here is uh rate limiting, for example, or ticketing. Uh I'm very upset when bots beat me to buy Kanye tickets. Uh and maybe if I mean, I I built the bot to buy me Kanye tickets, but if I don't know, Ticketmaster builds uh an integration with us and they just like have a unique uh human-backed agents, you, that'll be great cuz I'll just compete with human-backed agents, not with all agents, you know? Um that is one of the ideas I had, but just to give you uh something. So, to not just talk about Agent Kit, I want to give you case studies for mini apps.
For example, uh right now, one of the interesting ones is Auro. They have built a mini app that just airdrops you tokens. Uh 0.5 Auro every day for being a unique human. And as you see in the screen, more than 175,000 people claim it daily, and they have more than 1.
7 million holders. To give you a reference, this is like twice as Bonk, three times more than Pudgy Penguin holders, and a lot of X times more than Bonk from Bonk from token holders. Okay, this is like the biggest meme coin distribution on the whole blockchain ecosystems in general. Uh another use case is Credit. These guys give you anonymous uncollateralized loans to unique humans.
So, if you're a unique human or verified people, uh you can go into Credit, request for a $5 loan, and if you repay this loan, uh your credit limit increases, okay? And you can get a $7 loan if you pay interest, of course. Um and that builds you uh credit scoring that can give can get you at up to I think it's right now it's $1,000, but that can be infinite and again, uh they have 1 million unique users and they've issued more than 1.2 million loans to unique humans. So, that's an actual use case that people are using to do stuff with the money and repaying them.
And you cannot default because if you default, since we prove that you're unique, you cannot create a secondary account to request a loan again. Okay? These guys are getting distribution by the second, not even by the minute. This is like I did I did this in a I I think it's like 3 months ago, but if I go to their website, let me see. They are getting people repaying if the internet lets me, every second.
They have a lot of distribution, that's what I said. World app gives you a lot of distribution. Let me go back to this one. Um another use case would be like Morpho. Morpho integrated us to give World ID boosts, as what they what we say.
Basically, increased APRs to different vaults. Capped by uh right now it's $1,000. So, if you're unique human, you can deposit $1,000 and get boosted API, and instead of getting 2% for USDC, you'll get 13 in your first $1,000. Another use case, another mini app that has a lot of users. More than Right now, they have more than 600,000 unique users.
Um the last one I found this uh super funny. Uh it's an app that makes you exercise. So, you stake WLD and you start a 21-day uh challenge to do either squats, jumping jacks, or whatever. If you complete that, you will receive your money back with interest from the people who did not complete the challenge. Uh interesting use case using WLD as the core, not using World ID to verify humans.
You can be You can use mini accounts, but the interesting thing is for mini apps, you can use World ID to gate and do stuff. You can use send transaction commands to do stuff. You can use pay command to do other stuff. That is it. People on chain are the real primitive, that's what we want to I want you to understand from this talk.
Uh our pri- our track is 20K, we divide it into three different tracks. Best use of Agent Kit, best use of World ID, and best use of mini apps. Thank you. Sorry for that.
