we three Bridge um it's beyond learning actually to be honest it's beyond learning coming to3 bridge I didn't know what to expect honestly I didn't know um I came I just wanted to um one in my knowledge in blockchain that's that's one of the goals that I had but the most thing I love most is traving exploring new things I also love it when um I use my story to impact others my name is Angela M and this is my [Music] story I'm a software developer and a software engineering student from mcer University from Cala Uganda in 2022 I was still at school campus and um I was trying to figure out how what can I do in my course CU it's a night course but then I didn't understand what it's about so uh then I was trying to like move around my college so we had we have this incubation Hub um so we normally poost it events that's when blockchain people started coming in and I started tagging around like being with these people slowly I started getting into the community trying to understand what blockchain is so that's when I went into blockchain made friends this year we had the blockchain day first and uh my role was to help our International guests to come to like right in the invitation with us so so many new names were given to me to help them and among those names was Mr I Mr I was a found of web 3 bridge I checked out what web three bridge is about and I realized that there was an ongoing cohort registration so I was like let me just give it a shot you never know so slowly I we did the um the interview find knew it as like admitted to three bridge and that's how I ended up in Nigeria coming the first days everyone was excited to see the Ugandan person who was coming yeah the first I every the first time I sat behind and came was like Angel why you want to sit behind come in front I was like no I can't sit in front so it was a lot um the friends I made um also um our tutors like the they were teaching it was really um very easy to cuz I as I said like I was in this space but I wasn't understanding what I was doing but then there is um Ro three Bridge coures was were um model it helped me to to understand like from this thing you go from here to here to here so um that's one of the things that I really appreciate that I [Music] got we through Bridge is a collection center um we are from different backgrounds you come with your everything then they shape you to what they the industry is about the impact in our lives to be honest there's so much impact the value that you get here it's beyond learning web three it's beyond learning solidity the friends you make um the opportunities that you get it's like that's why I said it's a collection S I don't only get the knowledge that knowled it's beyond I don't even I don't even know how to explain [Music] it I love traveling I love exploring yeah and also um I love it when um I do something that creates impact in other people's Liv one thing that I want to do when I get money doing charity I being around kids yeah CU back in Uganda I have um some where normally go to off friend um I just love being around them you know it's like you're giving them hope so I always feel so happy when I'm giving someone [Music] hope when I first won our first haathon that was um the we Lego conference and it really um TR amazed me I so happy happy actually I so happy and also um that really pushed me harder to go for more things so that's how um normally think I think that's how these people work like um it just pushed me to go hard and hard and hard and harder every time and then my mindset like the way you have to handle things it's really different here like I feel like you is not ready for me first of all uh I've made friends like have a Nigerian name j yeah remember at least I remember that and then I was trying to learn Pig I could at least now I can understand when someone is speaking I can now speak but I learned what in the there's this word like don't then there's this word um saying sorry then we thank you you know at some point we couldn't tell that not even a Nigerian some friends used to say are you sure Ugandan like the blending in um yeah the food was spice actually spice I tried I like obono um tapa uh I love puff puff I love Jello fries yes the food was okay yes everything around has been so nice actually um the lights um and then and also the people actually to be honest has been so nice like being around everyone have treated me well made so many friends at some point I didn't want to leave at some point I wanted to leave I don't know it was a mixed emotions I know to say but then I really love it I've loved it it has been a great nice experience coming to three Bridge there's a lot that um happens here to be honest then friends you make the network you make um your personal growth because we normally have M mentorship sessions here uh from our leaders from the alumini themselves so to me um I can't price what I've gotten from here to be honest Beyond I don't even know how to express this but to anyone there who would wish or would love to join yeah what I can say is uh coming to three Bridge has been the best decision that I've made in my life [Music]
