[Music] good morning everybody my name is cark one of the co-founders of eth global and I W want to welcome all of you to pragma now this is a conference this is an event by E Global and we're doing a lot of things here this weekend and want to start everything off with telling you about what's happening in the world of crypto with pragma and then we're going to jump into the hackathon tomorrow which takes over the next three days for for all of us here and we're going to see amazing things being built by a lot of amazing developers and we do this which is hackathons and conferences all across the world both in person and async but today is about focusing on things that we can do to help more people get in the space who are not necessarily all Builders every solidity developer know knows that the every contract starts with the word pragma it's not just the beginning of a developer Journey but for US pragma represents a call towards pragmatism what makes this different is a focus on a few key things our goal here is to bring this to a much much wider audience and tell you about what's in the mind of all the founders and all the builders in this space how are they thinking about the future how do they think about applications getting to more mainstream adoption and to kind of make that very streamline we keep everything to a single day single Track event that means there's no multiple stages going on you don't have to pick and choose between a couple of things everything that's going to happen here is going to be in this room it's a Founders only event which means anybody who's going to be on stage here is going to be a Founder so you get to hear directly from who the people are and what they're thinking about those protocols and our focus is very much on the future we're going to obviously learn a lot from our past we're going to talk about and reflect on a lot of things that we've seen happen whether it's in the space or the history of that project itself but we want to think about talk about what we can do from those experiences and share some insight with all of you and this is going to be mostly non-technical which means that every now and then you may hear a couple of Concepts they may be too specific or an acronym that you may not be aware of but we're going to
