conference with two tracks and the 30 sessions actually our last conference was held in 2017 and the code the VM Brock but unfortunately the name is tagged by another organization so this year with changes to crosslink means that we can have more cooperation and everybody together and actually we are very thankful to the member from happy is there me up they have spent three months to organize this conference that means easier Mima of is 7000 per community created through 2015 by children winter and the wheel and until a time only three people they organized Lamia but we just grow up very soon after the successful operation and we are focused more on regular Mia for technical sharing instead I see oh it's a nonprofit and the decentralized organization means there is no leader only project proposal once the project is legit everybody will commit their time and working together to make it happen so this is our our goal and our effort and in the future we are hoping to do more me up and assuring and attract more student and the developer to this warm and a big family besides we are so grateful to have during foundation support especially metallic Taiwan for several times and thank you for the AOPA all around the world coming to Taiwan sense for your coming and up or present and you are wise to us and hope you guys enjoy the food and a trip in Taiwan during us day it's less since for our sponsor and Hannes we allow your hope allow your help we cannot make this happen thank you and hopefully everybody can enjoy the conference Thanks thank you now education session that filmed in Shanghai decision nanomachines IOC in Turin foundation the Vitalik IO strategy manager al Berlin like wall map alpha Y - teaching with high one sentence that - to Teja the junction that's welcome Vitalik and Albert okay great hello everybody I'm Albert I work with aetherium foundation on many things including our ecosystem support program and so if you're in foundation know we try to support aetherium around the world both internet world and real world and one of our big challenges is to keep adapting the way that we provide support so we can do it in better and more flexible ways so I really like the local Grants program such as what we are about to share more about it shows how amazing if nerium's ecosystem is around the world and the great part is that it's really hard to choose between all of these great projects it's a good feeling it means we should probably do more of these in the future both here in taiwan and around the world so without further ado I am excited to introduce recipients of the awards from the first round first we have the recipients of free Devcon tickets I'm happy to say that this already happened for Def Con in Osaka last week and the recipients were Kimmy Wu and Jin Chu really they receive these awards for many reasons as you can see up here and but I think I can best summarized it as was so hard to keep up with aetherium I'm sure it's even harder when you know most of the material is in English and both Kimi and Jin have done amazing work translating providing materials and also just creating their own content to help the Taiwanese community keep up with aetherium this is the kind of thing that we are recognizing more and more at the etherium foundation both here in taiwan and several other countries around the world we provided free Devcon tickets to people that have helped boost the local community and it's something that we're excited to keep doing next year so thank and Kimmy so if you understand this you are truly Taiwanese so our next section is for the for education projects both of the recipients that they will each receive two thousand USD the recipients are Eileen Lou and Chun Lu Chen for Eileen her project was she spent 30 straight days producing blotching and aetherium related content you should go and check it out online what I really loved about her project was it showed that sometimes you start with just setting a goal and you know effort as much as anything else is a huge part of what makes things amazing in this space and as for Chung Wu as many of you already know him but in addition to all the great things he's done for the etherium community so far he has also been teaching courses about etherium and about blockchain and has made these materials open and available for everyone there's even very interesting final projects that people can take a look at and so again this is a huge part of continuing to grow and boost not just a theory imbibe lock chain in general and so thank you to both of you for your great work and efforts and congratulations [Applause] [Music] cool in our final group we have three technical projects each of these projects will receive five thousand USD and we hope that this but as importantly the collaboration that this hopefully encourages amongst more people throughout the Taiwanese and broader aetherium community will help boost these projects to the to the next level three projects are eov aetherium wallet SDK and sol l so with eov it's as many of you know there's a lot of challenges in terms of just what you consider to be authentication right now in this ecosystem really excited always to see people who are working on kind of these usability problems and encourage you to check it out it's from the the pellet group which i think many of you know for athenian wallet sdk it's another one of those it's like a good problem to have but it's also a challenge right there's so many different wallet solutions in the space right now and if they're in wallet SDK aims to make it a little bit easier to manage those as we all figure out as a community you know how wallets will be used moving forward and finally Sol L was a very impressive and ambitious technical project working on solidity to a VM compilation one of the things that we liked in addition to the technical prowess showed was I think that often people think unless they can do the best version of some sort of technical project maybe they shouldn't work on it but actually that's that mindset was not true to help aetherium get started it was just a desire to work on an interesting problem and then an exploration of that problem and so I hope that each of these projects helps inspire the community to keep trying to build more things like I said our feeling is that we should be doing this more often here in Taiwan so yeah the specific recipients on behalf of the projects are ping Chen for eov anderson chen for a theory multi ck and home young dine for Sol L so thank you and congratulations okay I think that's it for us here and so looking forward to the rest of the conference thanks for everyone for coming [Music]
