Primeros pasos en la Granja DeFi (Parte I)
Ethereum Lima·Sat, Oct 9, 2021, 12:00 AM
Desde la comunidad de Ethereum en Lima hemos organizado un interesante evento sobre Finanzas Descentralizadas con dos expertos: Juan David Reyes (Community Leader de Status) y Luis Lozada (Embajadador de Maker Dao para Venezuela)
Transcript
Thank you to the attendees. As you'll see at the event, today we're going to talk about decentralized finance. Vitti Louis will have the dynamics explained to him in more detail. We hadn't planned for it all to be in one day, but it's best to do it over two days, Wednesday and Saturday. You'll have more details below.
Well, the key is to take these first steps within the ecosystem, learning about decentralized applications that are linked to decentralized finance. We'll have the help of experts, first of all Fantasy Reyes, whom we don't know here, because he's the co-founder of CCOO and Gnosis. He's also a shooting club organizer in Bogotá and a leading figure at the status wallet OA, which we'll be using today for the Indie Fine experiments. Also joining us is Lucha Losada from Venezuela. He's an ambassador for MakerDown and he'll explain how it works, what the 'stable' is that MakerDown is using today.
So, I'll leave you both to give us this talk. I'm sure We're all going to learn a lot about centralized finance, you know. I'm more in charge of saying, "I understand people." Thank you, perfect, Adolfo, thank you very much. How are you, Lucho?
I'd also like to greet our speaker. How's everything going in Venezuela? Anything going well? Thank you very much. Thank you for the presentation.
Well, everything's excellent here. Looking forward to making progress today. And anyway, just before we begin, if you have any questions, ask away in the chat. We'll be looking at the presenters now. So, let's go.
Well, as I mentioned a while ago, the idea of this workshop is that it will be a two-part session. This first part will be introductory so you can see how the tools work, and the second part will be even more applied. Let's say what we want to demonstrate is mainly how Status works in its wallet and DAP directory functionality. In addition, Lucho will then tell us how DAI works and what Maker is and everything it's doing with the goal of decentralizing finance. So, well, without further ado, I'll start presenting or sharing my screen.
Please confirm if you can see it. You can see it here. So, as I was saying Status is one of those projects that has been around longer and has a very ambitious mission. Let's say that before even talking about blogs or the technical aspects, I really like and find Status's mission very resonant, as its main goal is to protect human rights. And well, it's like being connected to something crypto.
This company was founded in 2017, back when funding was very popular for projects. These two names on the screen, Ratify Bennetts, held a session where they raised $100 million, and with that money, they've been creating very interesting things. I'll show you a bit of the structure and how they'll achieve this mission of creating a decentralized infrastructure and having these secure communication tools. And how does this relate to human rights? Well, there are principles that govern the company today.
In fact, I'd like to highlight how, through Status, one can achieve financial freedom because, after all, let's not forget that IFAI is the app, the definition, or simply the acronym in quotes for what decentralized finance is. We're entering as... Pioneers in a world where finance is no longer controlled by banks, but where smart contracts allow us to better manage resources and create other types of money. Right now, Louis de Lugo, Maker Ambassador for Venezuelans, will talk about this and the impact it has had in scenarios like Venezuela, for example, through tokens. I also want to talk a little about decentralization and how the Status network works, and finally, we're going to see how a way to have secure and private communication works.
So, this is a great infrastructure. The Status network is based on those principles I already mentioned and has its own unique touch. A quick reminder: a token can have a standard type like RC-20 or RC7-21, which are the most common. But now we're going to see what the difference is when sending. We're going to do an exercise where I'm going to send Luis SNT, and then Luis is going to send Adolfo something like DIE.
These are tokens of a good example of what an RS-20 is. Fujibility is something I always like. To emphasize, when one understands money, it 's fungible. The soles you might have in your wallets, or the Colombian pesos I have here, or the bolivars (not so valuable these days, as in the Venezuelan case), are ultimately indistinguishable. A person in Peru can exchange them with someone else, or with two people in Lima, and they will be worth the same.
In other words, there's no difference between a bill of one denomination in soles and one of another. The same thing happens here in this world. It seems obvious. Now we're going to understand what a wallet like this allows us to store different types of RS-20 tokens. And now, by sharing my phone screen with you, we can show you some of the different types of tokens available.
This infrastructure that your token project has enables the creation of a lot of functionalities or products. It's a product, like any other, like an application. It has tools for developers, a decentralized communication infrastructure, as you can see on the screen, and a way for us to communicate. In fact, we're having a meeting where we're talking about all these kinds of things. What he was saying...
The SNT token is an RS-20 token whose market value fluctuates depending on usage. It has enabled many things in an open way, following the philosophy of free software. For example, right now in this conversation, I'm going to show you how I can send stickers. This isn't exactly groundbreaking, but if we look at cases like Mexican artists such as Mojarra, imagine an artist who can create stickers. We've used them on WhatsApp or Telegram, and the people who create them don't receive anything in return for their artistic effort.
However, on Status, an artist can create their own stickers, publish them in the sticker store, and receive SNT tokens in exchange. We're also going to do an exercise on how to create an NNs, which is like a user account for a person on Status. There are a lot of other things too. We're also going to talk about the app directory. The private and secure communication we want to generate here will be through a public channel, and I'm going to show you how to find a public channel.
We'll do it if you want to install the... The application can be used in Zoom. Scan this code. This link, in fact, will be shared right now for anyone who wants it handy. This link will allow you to access our channel, but I don't want us to get distracted.
Let's focus on what we're doing with it. [Music] The presentation, and then if you want to install it, now's a moment for that. [Music] Press [ at] and then send. There it is, so you have it handy because the idea is that with that link, when you download it, you'll land directly on the channel. The application works like any other, like WhatsApp, Telegram, or any other messaging app.
But the unique or most innovative thing is that it integrates these three functionalities. In addition to messaging, it has a crypto wallet where tokens can be stored. It's also a Web 3 browser. That is, when you enter any service, for example, it sometimes asks you to log in with your Facebook or Google credentials, or even Twitter or Guitar Hero credentials. That's a simple way to authenticate, but those services, particularly Facebook's, as we all know, have some centralization problems where a messaging app...
Because it's centralized, it has the potential to be restricted. So, Waku is simply a development that Status made. It was previously called Whisper when they launched the protocol; it had a different name. But essentially, what it allows us to have communication between people where messages are replicated across different nodes. Let's say this is a concept widely used in the Sirius world: decentralization and distribution.
This is a distributed network where, as you can see on the screen, a message is sent, but only someone who has my user's private key can understand exactly what I sent. Even if it reaches another person because they can open it with the private key, this guarantees privacy. When you create your Status account, you will never be asked for your phone number, email, or bank details. The anonymity of the person who downloads the application is guaranteed, and this has a great advantage because it prevents intermediaries who are listening to our conversations from profiting from this information, unlike what happened with Facebook in the famous Cambridge Analytica case when, for example, they managed to understand how voter profiles worked in the US. So, to recap a bit, private messaging is achieved through a form of privacy with this Waku system.
Right now, we're going to do an example of a one-on-one private chat where, in addition to sending messages, you can send stickers that have value. You can send transactions of RS-20 tokens, one of them, and others. Perhaps the most popular, I would venture to say, is the DIE, a stablecoin. Louis is going to tell us what it means to have a stablecoin, which, unlike other messaging applications, allows me to see how many tokens I have. So here we can see what wealth I have, thus adding a layer of value to the conversation I can have with other people.
And right now, we're going to show you how these tokens can be sent. This gives me the perfect moment to tell you that Maker, who is also supporting this event, will match the purchase of all the people who, between today and Saturday morning, show us that they bought 5 Day tokens. Here, I had a very quick example. I can go share my screen. [Music] I'm going to share my screen from the Satoshi Tango presentation.
One of the many options for buying crypto works in Peru, and we recommend it because it's a very good first step to gain peace of mind and confidence. However, this comes at a cost, and this cost is represented in what's called the "cake way." Here, for example, I took some screenshots of how to create an account on Tango. I had to send them a photo of my ID card (here in Colombia), what we call the "cédula" here, a photo of the front and back of the data. This was also one of the things they did, like "Know Your Customer" and "Know Your Customer."
In other words, Satoshi Tango wants to know who I am. But in some cases, I wouldn't be so comfortable sharing this because, well, a misunderstanding is that if I have nothing to hide, why should I protect it? The thing is, sometimes you're so aware of all the data you leave online, and you wonder where it ends up. So, it's in my opinion, as part of the Status philosophy, not to force anyone to reveal their information if they don't want to. But anyway, that's a bit of a joke.
And Tango, I have to put my information here. This was a previous address, to tell you the truth, so I'm not too worried about it being on the screen. But if you want to use Saltos y Tango as an easy way to buy crypto from Peru, it's recommended because it's a reliable company. The idea isn't to stigmatize anyone, but you have to keep in mind that, for example, for anyone who's going to make the purchase of these five dollars, I have to wait up to 72 business hours, that is, 3 days. I did this in the morning, so I would have to wait.
Let's say Wednesday, Thursday, I work at this company, and Friday, who knows if they work Saturday. So I don't know if we can make this purchase through Saltos y Tango. Another option we can offer is to make a purchase with me, with Nador Effort, or with Louis, depending on the country you're connecting from. You can show us that I made a transaction worth five dollars. I do n't know if Adolfo wants to comment on this logistical aspect, and we can discuss it further later, but just to say, as Juan David says, the idea is for you to be able to do the part In practice, you don't want to buy 5 from there, and also for doing that, you'll be rewarded with 5 out of 6 final points from Maker Down.
Lucha will explain more, and the issue is through which channel this is done. So, when right now there's a channel that's requesting it, you can also do it directly from Status, I think from Juan David. We're going to enable that option, or if not, also without... well, not this time, but if you also have an account on another exchange, for example, Vainas Pudo or any other, you could do it that way too. The thing is, buy these five from there.
You can do the practical part, and if you have any problems, you do n't know how to do it, we're here to lend a hand and help you at that point. And here I'd like to make 22 clarifications: in Status, you can't compare, that is, you can't do what one calls an honor, which is to convert fiat currency, Peruvian soles, pesos, whatever, because Status is a peer-to-peer exchange space, that's why I put it as option one. What does this mean? I know Adolfo, we've had... A relationship of even a topic Canek do Tico Adolfo, I met him in 2016, it was beautiful and a curious anecdote, we met in Greece because I was part of the debate world, I had a girlfriend at that time who was also part of this, so we met in Thessaloniki at an event beyond the anecdotal but important to get to know each other better, I fully trust him, the fuse said Adolfo, I know you have da and I'm going to buy five dollars from you, so I make a transfer from my bank account of more than five dollars, but he was and it was perfect, he received them in my account, if you want to finish, tell us your thoughts, could I receive the money from two places, from two accounts, yes, that is, as well explained with David, one way is to buy it not directly from the exchange like Satoshi Tango or Bailando, for example, Airlines, you can also acquire it from a third party, in this case the third party would be me, so I have my crypto, it's not a channel on that side, for example, from Status, I'm going to transfer the five from there from a Status account to his Status account.
From any of you, you can credit me the five dollars, or three minus three, two dollars, or monthly, and you could even send that money to me through online banking, I don't know, to a BCP or Úbeda bank account for those of you here in Peru, and that way the purchase is credited. No, I brought the money with me, I transferred it to you, and as I explained online, it's equivalent to a traditional dollar between peers, and I also, if there's someone connecting from Colombia, how much easier to transfer to an account in Colombia. I have a home here, so here at home there can be something similar to the online banking in Peru. Here it works a lot with my bank, it's called Daviplata, another one is called NEC, and in the end, these are also quite useful fintech solutions where it's easy to transfer between people. But here, while Adolfo was explaining, I wanted to highlight something that already has a developed status but not implemented because, well, this also has an important regulatory part, which is the Telenetwork.
This is a way to use the State Network where I can have a way to do a scrum. A scrum in Spanish translates as a A trust, meaning I leave 12 in a device—in this case, a smart contract, although this also works in the legal world—and that money is protected by a third party, in this case, technology. Once something happens between two people, that money is released. Because, going back to the example I was giving, I've known Adolfo for more than three years, so I wouldn't distrust him if I sent him the money and he didn't send me the five. Ultimately, for me, blockchain technology is also a way to scale trust, and it allows us a lot of tools to create agreements that aren't allowed in the traditional world or on Web 2.
0. So, to clarify, in Status, one cannot buy because I would never give Status a bank account, for example. I can't connect my fiat currency to Status because, by definition, this is n't part of the principles of, for example, freedom and decentralization. We don't want information to be concentrated at a single point of failure. So, the other thing I also wanted to clarify, because I think we did this in the preparation of this...
The thing is, the balance doesn't have the list, so Adolfo confirms that's it. You remember that in this case an email comes out, now it does have it, but bitter, open Pierre Rosenberg, Alberto Pérez, it's like this, this second way, and it applies where I have my idea and it says you transfer them, not like any other participant, in exchange for the dollars you transfer to me. In the case of the open market, Pierre de Barinas, you can do the same, but instead of the previous ones, any other person who is selling, subscribers, there isn't one at that table, in that particular market, there isn't one, and there, and any of the options we have given before, exactly. And to close this part, I think that because it's going to give way to the explanation of the fact, Matías says that in die, sorry, it stays there, there are things, maybe being your skin more comfortable with that prey, punctuality, but not as an exchange, that is, if I enter Tosi Tango, which is a service that has a centralized front-end, they have your money, your different writings, call it Bitcoin, Bitcoin Kart, Ethereum, they have it and then they send it to what is a non-custodial wallet. This leads me to my final comment about Kaká Status as an integrated wallet.
It's a non-custodial wallet, meaning everyone has their own keys. In contrast, services like Salto and Tango, like Buda, don't have custody; they don't give me the keys, they hold the keys that grant me access to my crypto. A common recommendation is that if you have your own private keys, you don't own the subscription. This isn't the case with Status because I have custody of all my assets. Therefore, I can transfer my funds from one place to another because I have all the information.
Without getting into further technicalities... The last thing, so we don't forget, is that this conversation will continue on the DIF farm. Those who already have status can look it up right now. We're going to do the demos. I'll share the link again; it's where we'll have this.
If you want to take a screenshot of the DIF farm, that's all we had to show you for now. So, we'll give the floor to Luis Losada so he can tell us what DIF is and what a stablecoin is. Okay, thanks. What a great explanation. Well, let's start sharing the screen.
If it's confirmed, okay. Well, as I introduced it at the beginning, it's a pleasure to meet Luis Losada, one of the ambassadors for DACA in Venezuela. I'll give you a short, not very technical introduction. And what's true is, he receives it. Okay, continuing, let's begin.
What is DIF? DIF is a creature, so it's a token. On RC August 20th, it stays 20. These are all those coins that live like this; they function on the DIF network. It's one of these tokens, but it has the particularity of being a stablecoin.
It's not a 'stable' coin like many others; it's a coin that is always worth one dollar, always fluctuating. at prices close to the dollar, but unlike others, this one, with its famous and well-known tester, I mean DIE, is a totally decentralized currency because its backing, its guarantees, what's behind DIE are other, auto-currencies. The currency there is generated from other users who have these other currencies that they combine with DIE collateral or guarantees, which they deposit on what is the Basis platform. The platform is thus divided into three parts, or so, Straight Oasis returned to 66, Oasis erased the cornerstone because that's precisely where people deposit these collaterals and can generate the DIE, which are collateral for these coins with which you can issue DIE, you can create the currency, and among these we have are 16 on standby, having children of this double VTC week 7 x 15 link lfc com, and finally they got wifi from gender' finance pal, and in mini, I'm sharing it because anyone can access dye stats dot com and there will be absolutely all the relevant information about age, how much is in circulation coming from the protocol maker of base coins and age coming from a debate and deficit of w etc etcetera etcetera all these coins can be seen in real time without any problem so ok continuing after this we already know what it is how it works it is a recent token and a place where I can store it and obviously these are the ones that to answer the questions I have prepared here what do I need to have die simply an internet connection and a device either mobile or computer laptop that can host some wallet can access anywhere in the world if you have an internet connection you can access your gallery and have die you can use any goal in any world that accepts RS-20 tokens just like in raids and what commissions do they charge commissions something that must be taken into account right now because in the Ternium network there is something the commissions are called known as gas commissions yes these are these commissions that all the people who want to transfer tokens from one address to another right for the work of those who do the mining so in recent times and these commissions have been somewhat high due to certain events such as jet farming what you are doing now with 2.0 which The network is getting very congested.
Among the most famous ones we have is Ual, which is similar to Meta, and there's also CrossWorld Alien User. And finally, there's Ual & The Bitter. It's a feature we 've been recommending lately, very user-friendly for new users, but it's in a beta phase. Will it last for the public? And of course, Web 3.
0, as Juan David explained at the beginning, has status equality. Who isn't helping in this presentation? A wallet that can store any RS-20 token, which has a totally secure open messaging system—something super cool—an app store and a browser for the PSU. This means that with your status you can access, for example, the Maker protocol. You can issue coins by logging in with your wallet.
In the status browser, you can have money and do countless things. For example, I always like to give the perspective of us Venezuelans and Argentinians who go through very similar issues regarding inflation in our countries. From there, it can be a currency, a totally safe haven, and good for our savings. We see it daily, for example... Here in Venezuela, the price of the dollar has skyrocketed against the bolivar.
About a month ago, for example, a dollar cost 700,000 bolivars, and now it's close to a million bolivars. So, you can hide by buying dollars, you can save them, and you can even use the dollars you save later on savings platforms like Compone, which are very good platforms. For example, you can trade with Daisy. Right now, Daisy has had a very good rally. You could have bought Tuesday a while ago when it was at $460, and now that it's gone up to $600, you could close your position again on Daisy.
So it also works for this, for different investments. For example, there are many in the DIF ecosystem. There's a very famous and very good one called HaceProtocols, which is a protocol that sells tokens that do automated trading, so to speak. In different stores, there are many places that accept it; they have points of sale, decreed ways in which you can simply go and pay for services or items directly. For example, as a form of payment, you can work for any other foreign company, and if it's up to the bosses, they're the ones who will pay you for your work.
In video games, there are many games and blogs where, if you participate in or win a tournament or any other event, you can receive rewards and prizes. For example, yesterday I was at an investment platform that creates strategy pools, and there's a very famous protocol called Punto Gueder, which is considered a zero-loss lottery. It's a great protocol where you deposit your money, they give you tickets that represent your share. If you deposit money, it goes to one of the savings platforms we mentioned earlier, and the resulting return is a prize distributed to one person, the holder of the winning ticket. The others don't lose their money or their tickets; instead, they get their money back and can continue participating.
It's a great idea that has also emerged. You can also participate in liquidity pushes. You add from there to certain protocols that use those tokens so that people can trade, among other things, or as a digital art business. A business that has had a huge boom lately is cash, which are non- fungible tokens. The vast majority are 721, but they can also be stored in any bank that accepts them.
After this, we see how measures can be used. Now, for us in Latin America or anywhere in the world, we can also ask ourselves about the question of how to exchange these tokens. If there are any, they can be exchanged on exchanges, whether centralized or decentralized, like websites. There are some more famous centralized exchanges, but they ask for your data. But there are different platforms with which you can exchange tokens.
For example, one of the practices that can be done for people in Venezuela or any other country is that you have your tokens, you send them to Bank and even there you can exchange them for other tokens. You can exchange them for these and you can sell them on the market, but you can get fiat currency. While an ISO is a totally decentralized exchange in which you can Connecting one of the toilets, for example, status as a goal, and doing more, is the exchange of DOL to any other currency completely anonymously, as well as remittances. It's also a super important ally, in my opinion, for remittances. For example, here in Venezuela, in recent years we've experienced a massive exodus.
There are a huge number of Venezuelans in different countries: Argentina, Peru, Panama, Ecuador, Colombia. Being a stable currency that can work anywhere in the world is a fantastic ally. Someone who manages to send money from any country can send it here to Venezuela, and the money they send from there is the same as here; it will always maintain its value, right? So it's something great as part of a salary, for example. As I mentioned in the previous section, you can request payment in DOL easily from companies, and you can also exchange them from there.
But, as we were promoting, you can do with Adolfo, like they do with me, which is to access a group where they sell cryptocurrencies. This is usually recommended for people with perhaps more experience who might have to trust quite a bit. In the other person, to make this transaction, you can provide your bank details to the person with whom you will carry it out. This person has a LIGHT (a payment method) that they send to you for the confirmed transaction. Then you make the transfer.
Finally, let's talk about the security of Daisy. It all looks very nice, but the question can obviously arise of whether DIE is a completely secure currency. As we see at the beginning, it works through users who leave collateral in the Maker protocol and issue these DIE. Each DIE is an over- collateralized issue. What is an over- collateralized issue?
For example, for the bucket, which is where DIE is generated from Team Yum, the minimum collateralization is 150%. That is, if a person wants to withdraw, for example, DIE, they need to deposit a minimum of $150 worth of N Tyrius in this Maker protocol to be able to withdraw those 100 DIE. The voting parameters are a bit more technical and complicated; this can be left for the next talk, but well, that's something basic. And also, a debt ceiling: each collateral has a ceiling. If you understand, the start is clearly shown.
Now, as we know, the vast majority of these collaterals are volatile currencies like Ether, like Doublet, among others. And to ensure these prices are as accurate as possible, Maker has a system of oracles. These are called, and are now, smart contracts, right? They obtain the prices of the different collaterals from different sources. There are private oracles and public oracles, and these are used, for example, by Dummy oracles or any other company that manages the collateral.
There are also private oracles, which are simply user actors within Maker that provide these prices. So, for example, one of the safeguards these oracles have is a contract called the Median YZR. This means that if an attack occurs, for example, if one of these oracles wants to significantly decrease the price of a collateral or increase it to attack the Mixer protocol, this Median YZR smart contract is always monitoring all these vehicles, knowing all these prices. And any price that it sees as being completely out of sync with the average of the others that are similar, it eliminates it. It accounts for a one-hour module, and that's how it protects itself, for example, from oracle attacks.
The emergency shutdown is another security method that the Maker protocol has, and it's that, for example, in very abrupt market crashes or any event that could significantly attack the protocol or algae, there's a final emergency module, which is this emergency shutdown, in which all those people who have die in their goals are frozen at a point where, with all the collateral and all the backing that already exists, all these die holders will be rewarded in these collaterals that are previously held in the bots, right? So, if they give their price, it will be done, or if any other terrible thing happens, they will be returned the money in the value of the die they had in these collaterals. And finally, it should be noted that all these parameters, all these oracles, all these smart tracks that have the Maker protocol behind them work through governance and a community that is always active on networks, in the Medicare forum, for example, and so all these decisions that are made regarding die are made in the blocks Unfairly, through a vote with the governance token, which is the one you see in the upper right, which is the top team maker token. For example, each new coin that they want to add as backing for like has to go through a vote, acceptance by the community, and a vote by the Maker governance, who deposit their Maker tokens into the voting contract. And that's how all the changes happen, and that's how the Maker protocol itself is brought to life.
And well, lastly, I also want to remind you that you can follow us on our social media, like this one, and tell all the ambassadors you want to know. We have them answering questions on TV channels, Twitter, or Instagram too. And well, I think we can move on to the next thing. Excellent, the explanation has been very good. Now it seems we're going to the practical part.
Right, Beat, that's right. And some questions that I think are relevant to ask, especially if you think I'll get it right. I was reading here, I don't know if Wood should have an answer, but basically, what's the difference between having and dying? I do n't think that question is right. And here they were commenting that in the case of confiscating it, not complicating things for the testers, not in that case, I don't know if we fight, can you tell us about Buknas?
Yes, yes, well, for example, but I mean, they are 'stable' coins, right? Those who created them say that supposedly there is a backing in physical dollars, as such, in bank accounts in the United States for each tester created, and while it remains, it is totally decentralized, as you can see in the stats, you can see absolutely all the collateral, the real value in dollars and in credit coins that are backing it, and decentralized because precisely it is other communities that are backing the coin, that is the biggest difference, exactly, great, because that's all. Also, reflecting on a truly decentralized world, I also respond there, what we want to achieve is to remove intermediaries. Intermediaries, in some cases, are useful, I think that at the beginning, while we are getting into the technology, it is worth saying, well, I am still on a learning ladder, while I start to have my good security practices, so I prefer to trust less decentralized products and I see the future in applications like status. Where, let's say, this group connects people from Peru, Venezuela, Colombia, I see friends from Mexico, then from Costa Rica, so we say, "Hey, I helped Carlos, a good acquaintance from Guadalajara, for a freelance job.
I helped him with a front-end project, and he says, 'How much do you charge for this?' Okay, fine. I do the work, and he sends it to me through an application like Status, where I don't have to go through any intermediaries. Exactly, from that bank, in short, where the king doubles it to complement each other, and this, when David, for example, in the traditional payment system, when you pay in a [unclear - possibly "online" or "online"], it's not that you automatically transfer the money from your online banking to an Emerson account, but rather the virtual establishment. There are a series of intermediaries, including Mastercard or Visa, the issuing bank, the rest, so they all have to give the check or approval for the transfer to be made.
But in the crypto world, that doesn't happen; instead, It's completely decentralized, and in effect, the funds or cryptocurrencies move from one place to another, or even from Peru to China or from Peru to Russia, for example, very distant places, almost instantly. So, we're going to move on, and I'm sharing the screen. I think you can see the status on one side, and I'm going to leave this here on the other. What we want to do, so there you can see and comment on the status, right? Now it's going to change.
For example, my wallet will be shown in place of the screen. So, I think this creates the presentation of the side. Let's go step by step through the three components. So, I'm here with the integrated crypto wallet part. So, what does this mean?
This is how it looks, because here in the video, which goes by very quickly, we've talked about the RS-20 tokens, the CRC 7, 21, 13, 20. It's fungible money, that is, an ether. It's the same in Colombia as it is in Peru. I have this amount of ether, 0.4.
I have mana, which, for example, is an ether. From Central, and I have that entity, which is precisely the exercise I want to do right now with Lucha, with Lucha, the obvious He's going to show us how, a few minutes ago, while preparing for this talk, I had a conversation. Camille is going to change the messaging method to Lucha. I haven't added him yet, and that's one of the first things we need to clarify about the world of status. Unlike other worlds where we're more used to the fact that if I already have the email or phone number, these services somehow prove who he is, here there's a small learning curve where I show him that it's me.
I told him, " Look me up with my NS," and this is exactly what we're going to do right now. So, at 6:33 PM Colombian time, I sent him ten cents, period. Luchan, did you confirm? Did that money arrive? Were you able to see it on your bill?
Was it real, Louis? Yes, yes, yes, great. So, before Lucha starts sharing screenshots with us, I want to show you how a person who already has an NS looks in the application. Because you can see that Lucha here has a name. That's a pseudonym, which is some English words that don't mean anything to me.
Nothing then, first recommendation for talking via status through it, let's hear that one can first give it a name or a nickname, so in fact here and I have confidence, then I call Luis Losada and the next time I go out here in my conversations I can, for example, block him because it is also true that in status not just anyone can talk to him, otherwise you'll think I'm crazy, but the first time I downloaded this is something that is anecdotal but it remains in the power of the coolest oil of this community, of the first conversations back on September 8th I spoke with him, none other than... Mr. Vitalic writes, "Vitalic, how cool that you're coming to Colombia next year," and he said to me, "Hey, who are you?" But anyway, we had a conversation. I didn't tell you about a project he's working on with Dosis and management.
Very interesting, and that's even better. They confirmed to me that this gentleman is none other than Vitalic Butterin. But at first, I thought, "Well, he already had his N/S domain purchased." So that's something that today, here on my profile, I've already bought. Think of this like when you buy a domain on a website.
I already have Juan David and JD Rey. Then, as a domain registered within the Status service, I also had an N/S, the most generic one that Domains provides at that point, JD Rey. For Desputó, if at that moment, he used Juan Gabito Lucho. In this conversation, as you can see, I already saved him with his support. Before, now, Meza la CND, and the conversation, Lucho, but Lucho, when I see his profile, he has his pseudonym.
So, what is Lucho going to do now that he has ten SNTs and has ether in his wallet? Now, let's go... Making the change will stop me from sharing my screen, and Lucho, please start sharing your screen from your phone, and I'll send you instructions on how to buy or make a deposit. Okay, let's not forget, look at the video; you can change to status. There's one there, that's none other than Expidio Name Service.
It might be a little delayed, and that's it. We know Lucho has what I sent him, so see how powerful this is: a messaging service where, in addition to sending messages, you can send stickers. But if we have time, later I'll show you the stickers where I sent Lucho value without intermediaries. Of course, I had to pay to run what's called the VM or the XXI of a virtual machine. These are transaction costs that fluctuate depending on congestion.
So, Lucho, please go to your profile, to your profile session, and change your username to where it says " usernames." Okay, there they explain what this means. See, it's a really interesting utility, and next time I, Lucho, tell you, "Hey." If I'm on the status network, it's going to give you your username, and think about which user would use your status network. Well, what would you use?
Exactly, it's all my networks, in effect, which makes perfect sense so that someone doesn't already know it. You can't look for it there. For example, I'm using Wettering because I knew it would be, I think it's on Twitter. So, you go to start, and there you put your username, the arrow, and guide to continue. And then it's going to say, "Well, this is a transaction that goes to the main network, and you have to make a deposit of 10 sn3, which is the status network token."
Then you have to accept the registration terms. It's good that we're going to trust the Tyrius network. Register, register, and now there's going to be a cost in ether because, well, we have to run the main network so that this is saved in the system. Say, "I'm registering again." That's going to be used.
Unfortunately, it's from point 0, 1, to 8. Let's see, but this gives us time to reflect a little on something that's difficult to say. You might be wondering, "What is the status network?" To make a 43-cent transaction, Lucha will have to pay no more and no less than 7 dollars. Well, this also has something to do with this week's news.
So far, you are pioneers. I was telling Adolfo and Luis that we can be part of the point 0.01% that in Latin America is talking about this type of thing. But well, since it's an infrastructure under creation, we're going to do the following: I'm going to send another point 0.1.
How much do you think? It's not that even lowering what I 'm checking in the standard account, it's currently at 21, but it takes a little more than five minutes for the fast one to take at 37. So it would be much more expensive. It would be good. It doesn't matter, let's do this.
This also works great in the 20, the 21, it can be done, but no, no, I don't know when. But we're going to do the following: this also gives us time for this. He's going to send another point 0.1. He'll return to the conversation, and in the meantime, I'm going to request...
and this also shows how a transaction works from the recipient's side. So here, and I'm going to... Put a message sending a lot extra for the play. You can see that I already have my status yen because you can already find me as Juan David. So, you're going to put it here first, click send transaction.
You can't send another 0.01 of ether. I'm going to confirm it, and here it will appear to Lucho that I'm asking him to share his wallet address associated with status. So, accept and share. There, you can't have multiple wallets.
This is starting to get a little more technical, but you see, it's just a matter of a few tips. So, here I'm going to sign the transaction and tell him if I'm going to send it. And well, I see that the expense has gone down a bit. It's going to cost me the equivalent of $5.75 in ether to Lucho, which is what it's costing right now.
That is, yum. This is done. This guy has seen an increase in the price of ether of about 30 percent to $13,575 right now. So, there I am, I 'm sharing this with you. It won't come back.
Well, let's hope it should come out in a moment, 0.02 in my The side says it's pending the outgoing transaction. Max, if you want to read it, I'll answer. Let's see, Max, I think I mentioned it in my presentation. Gas is the network fees of Tyrius.
These network fees are charged per unit of gas. If it's the minimum, it's charged in way, which is the minimum unit of gas multiplied by the cash limit, multiplied by the cost of ether. The gas limit, then, would be like the cost that each protocol or each ticket has when sending or interacting with any of its functions. So, from this equation, the cost of what you're going to pay for the transaction on the Tyrius network is calculated. Exactly, it's a very good one.
Or rather, someone else said it: imagine it's a very congested city. So, to get a taxi, I put some bills on the street. I say, I'm willing at this moment to go very quickly from point A to point B, 20 dollars, and there's someone next to me who only offers 15. Well, the taxi will stop at the one for 20 and it will take me faster than these. 13 15 and right now, regarding the struggle, I was also saying something about speeds.
There are services that are described as having three types of speeds: fast speed, which, for example, she used for the ride, a medium speed that takes about five minutes, and slow speed. In fact, at this moment, I also asked Adolfo to receive another 0.1 point of ether because right now, I would say that historically, this year, at this moment, it's moderately congested. There have been more expensive times, so for each time, I also asked him to receive that 0.1 point of ether for the next part of the exercise.
So, I hope that Max now has a better idea of the different gas costs, like rates for moving on a highway, and the struggle will serve exactly. He's going to sign, so that he can take a taxi at an average speed, which can be about two or three minutes, he had to pay $7.80. And well, that's something that needs to be mentioned. It's a bit [Music] contradictory, to say the least, that the value I transfer is more expensive than the transaction cost.
In the next session, we're going to see a little bit about what happens with AVE, and the idea is that We at Status and May are helping you enter this world without having to assume those entry costs. Okay, so here we did our first exercise. Now, the next time you want to write to Lucha on Status, use @ losadaluis12. What has his user account been like on different social networks? And you can start a conversation with him, send him money, all from Status.
One last thing: go to your conversation, "Gracia Conversation," and here he's going to send some stickers from a good Mexican friend named Manjar. There's also a phone number. I sent you a Status Animal sticker, and this is a curiosity, but it's also something very powerful, in my opinion. How can one, as an artist, tell the artists who are on this call, the people who know artists, about the world of crypto art? Because this is one of the most powerful things, in my opinion.
In general, this isn't a success. We 've already talked a little about this type of non-fungible token; they're just some stickers. But since we're on the topic, to close this part where we saw the messaging functionality and the Google functionality... although we're going to do it with Adolfo later... Let's share our screen for the closing of this first part.
Lucho sees the icon that has the [Music] next to the microphone, which is like a sticker. If you look at it, you'll see " Get free stickers fast," but I want to show you how powerful this can be for artists. Some will load by default that are free, but further down, well, there are some that, for example, this one, or the one from the artist David Lanham, costs 20 SN test, but in no case will it appear enabled for use because he doesn't have more than 10 SN test. But if you scroll down, there's one called Status x Mojarra, I think that's the name of this well-known Mexican artist who I sent to this list. Here's the Status Xbox list, so, well, friend of the house, friend and Mexican artist, I give him 30 SN saying, "I value your work, I want to use your stickers," and he starts to create a brand within Status to later sell his stickers.
He actually lives off this. He told me that this year he made the decision to dedicate himself to making illustrations and uploading them as... Benefits and selling his works as a certificate of authentication or authenticity that the Singh blog gives, where I can buy his works. So, actually, one last thing, since I got excited about this, we still have time. He went back to the conversation, that is, he went back with the little arrow and added me as a contact.
And this has a functionality that we actually launched. It's like saying, " I trust Wanda Beat." And this week, a functionality was launched that's like a kind of Twitter within Fit. If you look at the last icon on the right in the bottom bar next to the profile, there are the statuses, which is a bit redundant, "status of status." So these are like tweets that I send that only people who have me as a contact can see.
And here I was, the truth is that I really admire Mojarra's work, so I was joking a bit that I am, I declare myself, the president of Mox's fan club, and I already bought him a sticker because I love his work and I want to support him. I bought some of the styles in statuses today. I bought one. A t-shirt on Radial, which is another platform that came with Enerthi, so I'm going to receive a t-shirt that comes endorsed by the NEC team. A few weeks ago, I participated in a virtual party called Perfecta, and I received a reward.
I have some things coming from Mox, so it's a way to create community. For example, click where it says "hash tag mode box fanclub." There you'll enter a public channel where Mojarra himself is, and some other people. If we know about this, we'll be able to interact with each other. And this is what's going to happen with the Defy farm.
So there we have a channel that only people who know about this can enter. And this leads me to move on to the next part of the demonstration. So, Lucho, thank you very much for this demonstration. And we move on to Adolfo's cell phone. I don't know if there are any questions or comments.
Feel free to open your microphones as well to see if there's anything you'd like to know more about. Exactly the same goes for you and me. And I don't have a question from Diego Damian. He asked a question regarding this ship maintaining parity with the dollar. What is the benefit instead of using Theroux directly?
Another way to do it. Well, Diego... As we all know, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are highly volatile. For example, let's take Venezuela as an example. If I want to buy Bitcoin or Ethereum, I might not be able to handle the pressure of having a currency that costs me 300 today, or even 50 hours.
So, for those who simply want to save the fruits of their labor, a cryptocurrency like DIE is perfect, especially for countries like Argentina where inflation is a daily reality. Now, let's move on to the second part, which is demonstrating—I was reminding Adolfo that he needs to accept the transaction to proceed with the second part of the exercise. What we're going to do with you, the people—don't forget, the idea here is for you to show us that you want to buy 5, up to 5. You can only buy 324. If you buy more, you buy 10 DIE at once with someone or with an exchange maker.
to evaluate or it will match up to 5 here I'm going to send Adolfo another point 0 1 because as we realized at this moment the network is congested and here the sending of these points 0 1 is being validated so previously with Adolfo what we did was send you 5 from there that it can be the case if you show us that you bought those 5 from there the idea is that before Saturday when the session of ave [Music] starts you will have a possibility to put your money in and this is the last thing I'm going to talk about regarding the apps but so as you can see at that moment it takes a little while let's try Adolfo to do the reverse process what I want to show you already have 5 of the year and you are going to send me of those 5 ten so to see it from the other side how it looks so so that it is understood that if I have to make a transaction I must have gas and see that the word gas which translates from the English gasoline all that is to have enough gasoline to get the machine moving so there well there you haven't added me as a contact but then I took the Havana And I come out below when habits you can select me or you can search for me as we already saw with the ns and put it ready lns instead of the public address, it is then an improvement in usability, I mean, well they serve, it's more user-friendly, and that's what the ns was invented for, we agree that it is a very recent infrastructure, it's like the time when sending an email required configuring a lot of things, here we are more or less at that point in history, so to send that fee is cheap because it is a transfer, a very small transaction, what the FM has to process, I stretch it, a virtual machine, it is a transfer of money from one place to another, which is a bit like what Bitcoin does, very well, Bitcoin is a way to store value, to spend and buy things, it is Syrian, a bit to explain what that language is, unlike Bitcoin with its smart tracks, it allows us to do much more complex things than what we will see in the second session on Saturday, how to put money into AVE and that becomes a way to generate returns on financial assets that I put in something called liquidity pools. So, it's like a savings resource for other people, and they give me an interest rate in return. But for that, we need to give... so, ready to sign with a password. The recommendation after you change this so that this video doesn't remain public is that people in the future who are watching this right now will see the password.
This is a way of... what you're saying... and to guarantee that you're seeing the correct information, it always has to come from these three words: hate, made to... but the password is the one you use when it's based on... Twitter will guide you...
well, it's a password that you choose that has to have certain security features, but this signature phrase is just to say that we're guaranteeing that every time you enter your password, nobody is hacking or listening to the conversation. If I see a different word, I should be suspicious. That's the reason for the signature phrase. So, put back the password you normally use. For one of the questions that they're already answering...
I'm answering... Adolfo... so if you want, put your password so you can send this data. It's the password you put when you download the wallet. So, here it says that you have...
This needs to be confirmed by at least 12 people who receive it. Remember the slide I posted a few moments ago? These things need to be replicated across different users. There have to be at least 12 confirmations; that's what blockchain is for—to decentralize and distribute. So, let's go back.
I think we already sent one; you're sending 5. Let's resume the exercise. So, the confirmation is still coming back. Now, friend, back to the conversation we're in. Well, I don't remember exactly where we left off, but go to the plus sign at the bottom left, " Send transaction."
I think we need to resume it. Now, to save myself as a user, I think 5. Oh, and sign with a password. There's an option while Adolfo enters the password that makes it easier: you can go to settings and enable the fingerprint reader. That's what I have; it's easier to use your fingerprint instead of this type of key.
So, just to see how the wallet works, and that's it. Okay, and here it will show in my conversation that 5 are being sent to me. So, the idea here—I don't know if anyone has any questions— is how would I like to make this transaction? They want to put it in the chat so we can get an idea of where they're most focused, if they want to do it through an exchange like Satoshi Tango or Buda, or if they want to do it peer-to-peer, either through me, Adolfo, or Louis, where they say, "I already know Adolfo, so I'm going to arrange it through the app." She or he tells her to send the equivalent in soles to five dollars, and that's it.
He says, "But with me, add, I know him from Colombia." [Music] Adecco is acting strange because I said outgoing transaction, but nothing is showing up for me. I'd like to confirm this. Bengoa, have you tried sending a sticker? There's more testing with stickers because if you receive the sticker beforehand, and Adolfo receives the sticker, he's not confirming because I'm not seeing any.
He's going to send it, I'm not receiving the start of the transaction yet. It's there, it goes back to that part, to the micro-transactions that were already sent because it's not showing up from his five dollars anymore. Because my half-exit with the conversation has given the protest, sending so much, the wallet returns. Apparently, they were sent, so it must take a while. I'll check if I have them here, I already have them back, there was something there, great, let's do it then, there it is, go back to that other screen, the one that shows you the transaction history, okay, exactly, it says there that five of what it says will be confirmations were sent and I already received this money, well, Murphy's Law multiplies, which shows that...
I'm hoping things go well, it fails in the live demo, but oh well, even though it says failed, how strange. I'm going to change the screen and the last part will appear. Well, Adolfo sent the 5 from there. I already confirmed that I have them and he's going to show you that it's him [Music] the DAX directory. There you can see my screen, right?
I think this is because for some reason the application I'm using seems to be slow to register these types of actions. You can see a little bit of all the transactions I've been doing since I shared this. If you're looking at the wallet, right? It's doing a lot of things. Yes, yes, okay, this is more of a communication issue between my cell phone and the computer, but there's no problem.
I already have our 5 from there that Adolfo sends. Well, that's a bit strange. It's more the communication that my cell phone is having with my laptop because it's only now remembering what was done. Well, let's wait. And it also helps us to review that in status you can send from there, which is what matters most to us, since we already understand what this stablecoin is, thanks to the very good presentation of Lucha that It has a possibility of having stickers that I can send any RS-20 token.
I understand, I accepted that in the RS-20, like that point 0, an ether that I sent to Luchado, or the 5 dies that I sent him, he went and sent me back the cnt that I sent Luchado a while ago so that he could reserve his n s. What else did we do? He already sent d. Well, no, in the statuses, within statuses, the type of status within statuses. And the last thing I want to do is remind you of two things: one, that it's, I think, finally, but to stop screen sharing from this Let's View because it's very slow; also, to go back to sharing my whole screen, I think it shouldn't be so delayed anymore.
And you ask if all these are only on Android. I don't know about answering. No, they're all on iOS for iPhone users, and there's also a desktop application. Right now, while I'm going to share the chat with you, it's status. And m is the psyche, and it's that all the people from it, if someone Luchado, medium, putting the link to statuses and James Haskell, and there they can download it.
But the last thing I wanted to mention is that There are two things that are needed. One is to show the different farm, and I think we've finally arrived. If this is connected to the other, there's a place, a website called daps. daps is a top-level tool that uses the SNT token to have a directory. What do I mean by a directory?
I mean that I can see different categories of decentralized adaptations that already exist within the directory and are registered here. Now, I 'm finally on my phone. So, what we're going to do in the next session is use the iron product from FAI called AVE. This is to enjoy the most powerful status features. I have a Web 3 browser that I can interact with, like when several more experienced users who have their meta-level peers do it from here.
But we lose, I think, with the sheet until this is soon, some small connection failures here, but we're not over time yet. I can still share my screen. As a final reminder, what we're going to do in the next session and our chat channel, which will be with Javi Five, you can see my screen isn't working properly. Looking at my screen, I think it is starting to share in Seville. So, I was saying that what we're going to do in the next session is go into AB.
So, I can connect... well, well, well, I don't know what's happening. It's very strange. I think it's right when I'm opening AVE. It could be a coincidence, or it could be that something is happening with screen sharing, but I'm not going to be able to activate it.
Let's try again. Those who already have the application downloaded can look on their screen. It's the last thing I'm doing: screen sharing. So, to get back to what we want to do on Saturday, we're going to use AVE as a place to make a deposit and save, putting our money in. AVE, as an open-source protocol with a lot of trust in the community, is going to teach us how to make this money work.
It's a way of saving like when you do it in a regular bank that does n't promise you a small interest rate, but that will probably be eaten up by inflation. Here we can do different things. I'm not really an expert in DIF, and I've done some very small experiments, but the people at AVE, who have a very good Spanish-speaking community that I know Pablo Candela has helped with, have interacted with many communities. From Latin America, he's going to send us a video explaining to civilians and others how to use Ave. So that's a teaser for what's to come.
The last thing, now that was the last part, don't forget that we're on Defy Farm, that these are the public channels. Well, here Lucho is already on my screen. I gave him the nickname Adolfo. He already fought. Adolfo doesn't have a yen yet, and as you can see, he's using his pseudonym, Break Up, the Spider-Man King mast.
And Lucho already has his N.S. So finding Adolfo would be a little more difficult, but the idea of this channel is that if you say you're going to send something to Adolfo, then you'll know he's Adolfo. Well, here you even know it's good practice to introduce yourselves. In my case, you can see what my username is, but those who don't have one yet can put "I'm David" and connect from there.
Those who are in the channel can introduce themselves and tell us. Okay, so I'm in Peru. It's easier for me to transfer money. Select Adolfo's username. I'm going to...
Chat and here we reach this agreement to say, "Okay, I've already confirmed it." We don't forget that there's already a prior trust that we want to build between us, and this Facebook farm channel can become our regional peer-to-peer space. People who are in Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina—people who have connected from many places—we're going to start creating knowledge, exchanging value. I'm going to remove this one, but I'm going to go to the error contact, which I did n't have, and click "Add contacts." You're going to give it a nickname so we know what it is.
Okay, friends from Panama, that's it. You can chat with it privately. I can greet you with a Mojarra Cloud sticker. Here I have these stickers that are free. The only ones I support are the ones from my friend Mojarra, but these are really cool from Denver.
A greeting to another friend from the El Cid Yum community. By default, status: that's a written topic. And here, the invitation is also for you to explore the different channels that already exist. There are some public chats where there's some activity. Remember that I can put here.
Well, I can search for Defy farm. What we want is for everyone to meet, no lies, individual right, to join a public chat here. This is what you're looking for. See, there are other conversations here too. For me, the best comparison is like Twitter hashtags.
So I want to see what's happening in the Dif channel, and honestly, I've never been inside each Dif channel. There are, and can be, people from all over the world asking how WiFi Finance is doing, someone from Ecuador, Esmeraldas, I suppose. So think of these as hashtags that you can jump on or join the conversation. Defcon is actually one of the most used, but it still does n't have a very clear purpose. I'll give you a sneak peek of what's being worked on at Status.
They want Status to be the communication layer for Defcon. When we have the CAM Bogotá event, this will surely improve as well. By then, in a channel where I'm active, Status Spanish, where I'm helping to provide support. People who need information, I'm always ready to help. This is also a channel that Status Colombia was doing until now.
So you see, this is a very simple way to create communities from there, stacks in the future. Seeing a functionality of communities like this, cutting off, I can have channels because here, things are very open, meaning anyone can come in and say anything. In podcasts, someone can come in to promote their podcast and share a lot of things, and it 's not so easy to moderate with communities to make that possible. So, without further ado, I leave you with one last invitation to check the DAP directory. Here you can also find the decentralized extinctions, and in the conversation, Ministro was mentioned a lot, so you can come to Yunis Swap, and as Lucho explained, I think yesterday's question was about where to get SNT.
So, you go directly to Branca, and even though it already connects with the balance I have in Ether, I can say, "You know what? I want to buy some." So I'm going to put 0.00 Ether, I'm going to exchange it for SNT. With 0.
00 Ether, which is like six dollars, I can buy this here. I think even the Yunis Back people tell me that right now the price is very high. Price Impact never appeared for me. In Yunis, OP, the price you're buying might be... It has a very big impact on the route that Unison is going to take in extract right now.
Look, if it tells me here, it's an extra 22 percent on what I 'm still buying. And the route—I didn't know this—that this whole path is going to be to get to that entity, a certain century, I mean, prepared to refresh. Well, it wants to be smooth. Everything works through liquidity pulses, which I mentioned earlier, which are other users who add liquidity to Alex Change as such. That's why it 's a decentralized exchange.
So when it happens in these kinds of things, there may not be many users at that moment contributing the necessary liquidity for a trade, right, on the route that Unison is following. Smooth at that moment, okay, what there is to have is a much more liquid market. It wo n't have such a high impact, and not even buying point zero, an ether, if it's like five dollars and 67 cents, and I clarify, there's a lot. So here, it can be a quick swap and change it. So, well, we also saw how to use a y- swap, which is one of the extremes of decentralization with the most movement.
Coin Veis has recently happened, and well, it's Native of the world defined the fact, a curious fact, it began as a local, a great one that gave the foundation to the Syrian to create tools for the community, and look what they invented, they are the founders of The Visual, so the conversation will continue here, it's also going to go, and well, without further ado, I give the floor to Adolfo who has been our host of this event, and we hope to see you on Saturday, and excellent, thank you very much Luis, thank you very much Juan David, it really is very interesting, I have also learned a lot, the truth is that I didn't know so much about Wayne's world, and well, as you know, we already have the Status channel, we can communicate here to talk about Defy and among other things, we also have the Zipline TV channel, in fact, in the chat, as you know, this Saturday we will also continue with the talk, so I think it would be from 3 to 4 pm, now Peru, it also seems that in the case of Venezuela it is an hour later, from 3 to 4:30 pm, now we are going to do the event in the middle, I hope it's not like it was again, it fell down all morning, and anyway, whatever, we can continue talking in The big zip line, or also now on this channel in a status update, I remember, so if there are no more questions, we'll see you next Saturday. I hope you have downloaded your status wallet, so yes, and do the test so you can also receive double the amount. But to clarify, we invite you to do it between now and Saturday. We've thought that in the morning we'll be attentive to making the machine talk so that you already have the money and do the exercise live because it's also a bit of a logistical issue. If several people are doing this, we lose valuable time that could be used for explanation.
So the suggestion is that people who demonstrate that transaction, because the idea is always that it's a matter of trust, that we could have seen all the participants, we're going to send 5 from there, and maybe people do n't join on Saturday and they took 5, and we wouldn't want that to be wasted, as well as the budget of the sponsors of this event, which has been Maker and Status. So what we're going to do between now and Saturday, we can't say in advance, but let's say that the deadline is Saturday at noon Peru and Colombia time, one in the afternoon Venezuela time, depending on... The places where people connect are ready. I've already bought or made a transaction, either peer-to-peer or through a 5-day extension. We'll do the trick: if they buy 3, they get 3; if they buy 4, and so on.
But if they buy more than 5, they only use that budget for 5. So they'll receive 5 IED, and that same person who did this will receive enough ether to do an exercise with AVE. We're also crossing our fingers that the gas for that day isn't too expensive, but the benefit is double: they'll receive up to 5 IED and they'll receive ether because, as we saw in this presentation, to interact with certain projects, you have to run the machine, and this machine costs us ether. So they'll have everything to make their first foray into the world of AVE. Fernando asks which exchange to buy the most IED on.
I think we can suggest some where it has worked. From my experience, I've used Duda in Colombia; it works quite well. I do n't know what you guys think. Another sexting is in Venezuela, for example, yesterday is the best currently, and here, in the case, well, as we mentioned at the beginning, he has an account in vainas, for example, in a funnel, well, and from there, as far as I know, Bitcoin and Psyllium, there are no traditional ones, this almost Tango, it seems to me that it happens again when seeing that you can confirm your jockey and Santos and Tango Aida, Zaida, and stressed for now, so if you have an account in any of that section, you could buy directly there, and then you have to show those who can effectively buy between today and Saturday at noon, and if not, for example, here Juan comments, I think he said it yesterday, Reynoso, no, you can also buy me directly from Status, like the exercise we did now with Juan David, you can transfer to the key, my cell phone transfers to me, my BCP account, and I send you, by the way, there are also some to your account in Status, but well, and that's how it arrives, it's a way to accredit the purchase, I would suggest that I leave you the life of the people of Status, or if not, I also entered the tele Big has its limits, for example, we can coordinate, and anyone who wants to can also do this. Okay, so, and more.
I hope you liked the presentation; I really loved it, and above all, that you learned something. Surely there will be a talk on Saturday to ask more questions, but you have much more to learn. So, see you in the room now. I'm going to create the group with the event in the middle, and also the announcements via Teleera and Status. See you.
Thank you very much.
