An Introduction to Web3 Frontend: Students Sharing Their Experiences Week 08

[Music] web 3 Bridge cohort 9 sponsored by bass I'm here to talk about my week eight in web Bridge so week eight we started fronting and um we took a refresher for me it was a refresher on re cuz I've been a front developer and I've have stayed away from it since I joined the program so it was a refresher going through the documentation um learning relearning about the hooks and um actually practicing how fron Works in G and the week was fun the class was fun I was able to understand everything and even learn more on some things I always been a big blur Bo our Mentor started react from scratch for us and took us through the various reacts Us St new effect new context and so on and we went through the documentation solved all the exercises and the practice questions and it was quite interesting it actually showed me my weaknesses in the um front end aspect and yeah I learned a lot I've been able to work on for myself and I'm quite grateful that we had an amazing Mentor that took us through the whole process step by step thing that we did was that we went to look at react documentation so we talked about the basics of reac which is through JavaScript and we also talked about es6 implementations of JavaScript and so actually fun for us because even though a lot of us we not actually like into deep front end but that um you know kind of understand what means to have front for so we actually like talked about how we connect wallets how we write to the blockchain we reach from to integration how to use how to integrate your smart contract with the front end up efficiently we looked that the first thing we did was looking at how met Marx works right so we introduced to the window meod and that's what like initiates injected three um D or wallet wallets that's what we introduced to the first you looked at how to actually use it in our app to make it functional that's connecting both the wallet and the da together that's smart contract making everything work and what we try to do and cover in week eight and [Music] like is an object read data from from blockchain and what not and we also ined to is applications the so we are used to how to use Concepts and like books API for passing data to be used out yeah and I wish we had more weight but then I'm grateful for the yeah thank you very much web 3 Bridge cohort 9 sponsored by [Music] Bass
