Hello everyone. We are here at the European Blockchain Convention. I'm Alona Cossio from your public relations agency Blonde. Sitting here today in this beautiful headquarters in Barcelona with Marzouk Azan, CEO of Bybit Europe. Hello.

Hi, I'm Naz, CEO and I'm Naz, CEO of Bybit. Hello. Of course, of course. How has Barcelona treated you so far? Oh, I think it's really good.

And also because of this event, I mean, a lot of people and very interesting topics. I even just finished my presentation this morning. Lots of discussions, and what advantage can I gain from that? Brilliant. Therefore, Bybit is one of the most robust trading tools available.

You have some really powerful tools. Tell me a little bit about the adoption by your retail users and what you're doing to make it easier for them to get onboard and help them navigate these turbulent waters. I think it's a very special experience at Bybit, because we literally try to attract our regular users to a platform. In that case, our business strategy is totally different from the global one, perhaps. Just to open the door to mass markets, we first launched products like our fiat entry platform, also our Bybit card, which is very popular in European countries.

People like to use us. Perhaps that's the first step for them, you know, putting crypto there for them, you know, putting crypto there , getting crypto, and also making some investments. Yes, it's a good start. We also offer some new, easy-to-use products, such as spot trading and spot tracking. We want to build the first stage of the product this way.

And from your experience with European audiences, do you see any specific trends or interests among European audiences that you think are worth mentioning? I think a lot of it is related to the card and also to the adoption of crypto. What connections are taking place, especially those linked to web2 and web3 products connected to the traditional banking system? As with Bybit, what we really want to do as the next step is to open a bank account for our customers. And what I want to do is enable them to open accounts in 5 minutes, easily access their SSC wallets, and easily exchange their local currency for crypto.

In that case, you know, it's literally a wallet for customers and basically makes their lives easier. We are very interested to see how they can resolve all this interoperability and cross-chain switching and the transition from fiat to crypto, something that has long been a challenge for CTOs at early-stage startups. Um, AI is becoming a major topic in pretty much everything. You know, we now use ChatGPT for things we never thought we'd ask an AI about. How do you see this integrating into the trading area with users into the trading area with users ?

Do you think they look for it or interact with it differently? I mean, with AI, it's good AI. Yes. I think it can play a very important role even in our work or in our reports. Because under the MiCA compliance framework, you need to do a lot of reporting and analysis.

Also, make sure that you can actually protect the interests of consumers. In that case, data analysis also provides the right tool for trading. I think it's getting more and more interesting. In addition, we use AI to provide location services. Let's say, for example, translation of languages or content to make it easier for users to understand.

Well, that 's very important. But if you compare it to what was happening a while ago, it wasn't easy for everyone to read in English, let alone learn more about crypto, learn more about crypto, right? Yes. But now I think we see our lives using this as a tool. Yes, definitely.

I want to emphasize that the location aspect is a huge asset, especially when we're talking about bringing crypto to mass adoption and the retail user. Any tool we have to help them participate and understand more will eventually make them more active participants in the scene more active participants in the scene . So, what can you tell us about your role in Europe? How do you see it differing from your counterparts in Asia or the United States? Are you referring to other jurisdictions?

Yes. I think that, in reality, when MiCA was implemented, it was very important for everyone. Let's just say it provides a good pilot test and a decent standard framework for everyone involved. And you can definitely see that other countries and even regions are changing and want to use it as a model. They want to see what happens.

And, in fact, we've talked a lot with our other regulators. They want to know what happened, how we applied for MiCA licenses, and what our success story is. I believe the complex framework is changing because of this. And what we see now will definitely impact other regions, as you mentioned, yes. And I think it's a kind of mutual learning process for both sides.

Yes, it's very interesting. Um, is there anything else you'd like to share with our viewers today? Perhaps something about Bybit's plans in Europe in the coming months? Yes, I think I would really like to present our cards to the entire audience. Oh, everyone uses it.

Wow, it's a super good product. And I think we can try visiting it. Just put some money into it. Try the card, you know how convenient it is because you can get a higher APR because you can get a higher APR . And when they spend, they can pay directly.

Redemption is not necessary. That's what we're talking about when it comes to crypto. That's for a crypto product. It's not something manual or outdated. It has already become part of our daily lives.

Incredible. Thank you so much for joining us today. Thank you.
