hey everybody wow i hope you're excited for eat denver 2020. well after a year of doing it virtually and the team did an amazing job it was probably one of the most attended online events during uh the pandemic uh for crypto and basically they crushed it and uh i'm really really excited to go back to doing a live event this year with everyone and i know that uh the east denver crew is super excited as well so uh what we're going to do today is we're going to go over a few of the details about the event and just give you some of the background information and get you really really hyped for east denver 2022 so uh i think we'll just kick it off and basically uh we're gonna bring up a few uh characters uh derek jason dan tyler and uh i just wanted to introduce myself i'm matt locker and uh i've been one of the stewards and and sort of helping organize and plan the content in the event and you no doubt have probably seen me in person and you saw me virtually last year um i'm here to basically introduce uh the event and kick it off so um let's get into the details let's bring derek up um and i'll let him introduce himself thanks matt my name is derek i am the community steward for eth denver and i'm really happy to be joining the team i can be found in the discord and a variety of other channels like our telegram if you ever have any questions it's probably me helping you out i'm really looking forward to sharing some of what we've been planning with everyone today let's dig into it so the event itself uh it's got a schedule it's got three main parts this is confusing for some people so i wanted to start here and make sure everyone has a clear picture we're already here in the first piece we're gonna have these live streams every friday at 10 a.m mountain time for the next five weeks this is one out of five congrats on being here for the first the purpose of these streams as matt mentioned is to get you ready for the event all the key pieces you need to be successful and ready and to let you know what to expect in a little bit dan shields the biddleweek steward is really going to dig into biddleweek and all that it offers in that 11th to 17th of february slot so i won't say too much more but you can look forward to all kinds of open source meetups events and parties being thrown by sponsors and other members of the community completely permissionless and then of course there's the main event that weekend of the 17th through the 20th where we get together and have speakers workshops and biddling 24 7. optionally you can cap it off by joining us all in the rocky mountain area in breckenridge colorado where we ski drink hot cocoa and have a chance to slow down and connect the main event is what we're proud of it's the crown jewel of east denver and matt you've been there more than once and you know your way around the territory so i'd like to give you a chance to tell us a little bit a bit a little bit about each of these key parts awesome uh well thanks derek yeah the main event is really uh as you said the crown jewel and there's usually about uh there's over 2 000 people come through the main event i think this year it's going to be even bigger we've had three stages before and i think this year we're having six this is crazy so this is like the super bowl of crypto hackathon conferences and it's just it's got something that that no other event has it has a vibe like it actually has a feeling to it that uh no other conference or hackathon has and that's all thanks to the the really hard work of the east denver crew and just colorado in general and just that that spirit so you can see right here the buffalo corn on stage um and and he's with the the governor of colorado uh jared polis and and vitalik and they're reading a children's book to chill to kids on stage during a crypto event like this is crazy stuff and there's people uh you know dancing in the arcade there's people hacking and uh there's some some great uh east denver crew people in front of our big banner in the in the intro uh to the to the castle so this this is crazy uh it's it's just a really good place to meet everybody and to network um and and you really come away with it with some awesome memories so let's go forward and look at the specific uh venues so the maker space is it's at the top of the sports castle so uh that basically has a lot of crafting and sort of diy stuff it's it's a great space to just hack on some sort of uh you know non-software related stuff and and get your hands dirty yeah that's something i appreciate about eat denver is that biddling for us is not just writing code we understand it takes graphic designers soldering even meta factory was born at eat denver a couple years ago and they make all kinds of amazing wearables and fidget digi physical however you want to call it stuff so i appreciate the chance for veterans and new folks alike to be able to play with their hands too yeah that's great derek it's really a place for you to be yourself uh let's go to the next space so the arcade was a really cool one in uh in east denver 2020 this was this was a new edition um it was rad like it was it was so cool there's a lot of old school games that you can kind of see in the background there behind the the guys doing the dance dance revolution and i mean just a lot of nostalgia it brings a lot of people back so that's really awesome let's go to the next space so yeah presentations and workshops i i think this is this is really a place you know to get to get your alpha leak uh you know this is the the hype stuff there's a lot of a lot of projects choose to actually uh drop really good information at the event they want hackers to actually hack on newly released uh sort of dev toolkits and sdks and and things that are rolling out in their protocols so it's really a great place to learn and also get ahead of some of these trends oh the zen zone i love the zen zone it's got a special place in my heart because i'm i'm usually if you catch me at the event this year you'll see me running around like a chicken with my head cut off and every now and then you know you need to tap out and you basically need to just uh close your eyes and relax and the zen zone is also uh just something that you don't see at other conferences there are places to relax beanbag chairs you can sign up for a massage you can you can basically uh check out all sorts of um teas and tinctures and all sorts of fancy stuff um it's a really cool space and it's uh it's also i i don't know if we're gonna mention it but this there's child care and there's a whole there's a yoga studio that there's so much stuff here so it's really great oh yeah the art gallery was uh was also a very very big part of each denver 2020 and it was uh it was really great i talked to some of the artists they they made a lot of sales and it's really great um as derek mentioned earlier that it's not just about showing up at east denver and writing code it's about participating in kind of like uh this cultural movement so and i know that um jessica angel and annie phillips and the rest of the creative team have been working on some amazing designs for this year's theming in the entire space i'm really looking forward to seeing very excited to see that oh we did mention it child care great so as as we get older uh some of us might have families uh you know starting to appear so uh i actually i was in i was in lisbon and i got some i got some alpha leaks of some crypto babies so uh some people came up to me and said that they were planning on starting a family so that's great news and i mean obviously east denver's there to support you oh the dj chill rooms yeah these are so cool djs are usually spinning uh around the clock um and these rooms are really really really well designed uh if you can see some of the figures in there they actually brought in you know huge uh blocks of material and actually carved it in-house in the lead up so if you're attending biddle week it's always fun to actually swing by the venue and just take a peek through the windows and and sort of see if you can see some of the work being done there's a tremendous amount of work that goes into creating a space like this and the djs are just phenomenal all right well i i said it before speakers and keynotes just amazing and speaking of speakers look who just joined us hi john hi how you doing today i'm good thanks i'm trying to figure out my virtual background thing here and it's not working very well so i'm just gonna let it be so how's everybody doing good really happy to be here thanks for showing yeah i just i just i decided i can swing by and do a cameo and say hello i've actually got back-to-back back-to-back to back to back-to-back meetings all day today but figured i'd come and uh check out the first live stream that we're doing so um yeah matt you were talking about like we've had you know two thousand plus people in person um we have over eight thousand applications as it stands right now and that's just for in person we're gonna have thousands more virtually because we're staying hybrid it's just in person yes correct so um we are doing our darndest to make sure that we can include as many people as possible but you know my recommendation is you know if you want to come to eat denver just be a hacker you know because at this point you know we still need more quality hackers thank you we do we need more quality hackers we need more and more and more we have over a hundred global sponsors and we have probably well it's going to be over a million dollars in total bounty money so um and that doesn't even include the um potential investment opportunities that we're now offering through buffalo and ventures there's another two million dollars in um investment capital that we're looking to put into the community in addition to projects that are um outstanding uh you know showcase folks at uh at the event so it's it's shaping up to be probably the biggest well i mean if if things stay on course it's going to be the biggest event produced ever in the ethereum ecosystem but we're bleeding out into other communities as well i mean we have nine layer ones that are going to be there so it's not just ethereum it's all about it's a decentralization festival you know it's the as we like to refer to it as the community innovation festival that you know that we're all here for so yeah it's uh it's turning into quite the uh quite the thing so if you apply come as a hacker you know be be you know come build that's the whole point of the event i think a lot of people that haven't been to eat denver before aren't really sure but we're like we're we're the only mainline event like this of its size that actually has the main event as a hackathon everything else is a conference right first and they do mostly takitakitaki well we prefer to waki wakiwaki right so we prefer to build we prefer to do and uh yeah it's it's um it's a bit it's a huge opportunity to actually put you know rubber to the road and see you know see things actually come out of this and we've had scores and scores and scores of top projects come out of each denver historically so you know we're just trying to you know do our part in in taking things to the next level i i can't underscore it enough john that this year feels yeah i mean you combine it with the fact that a lot of people haven't we haven't had a lot of social opportunities in years literally since like the last denver 2020 and uh you know there's been a little bit of that with liz khan and and near khan and uh with um you know ecc and paris i mean there were certainly some good events this past summer and fall but like we just haven't done a lot you know and as a community and so yeah i think the super bowl of crypto feels right i mean we've nev i've never i mean i've been in the event production game with this for a while you know we've been doing this since 2017 so i i haven't seen anything like this so it in addition to you know everybody getting back together it feels like we're kind of hitting that mainstream you know vibe as well if that makes sense like oh absolutely it's it's bananas it's it's gonna be a pivotal year yeah i think we do have to keep the schedule uh rolling forward i'm gonna step out i just wanted to say hello to everybody thanks for everything you guys are doing thanks john we have an amazing stewardship uh we have an amazi amazing board of stewards with sport dao you know we have um we actually have more women on sport down than we have on the board of stewards than we have men now we have five women and um it's great you know so like you know we're we're we're really uh you know we're really stoked to see where things come in 2022. so take care everybody much love and good to see you see you john all right let's uh keep moving through the biddling uh which we talked about a bit um all right derek do you want to talk a little bit about the team formation details i think we'll skip this for just a moment and i'll let jason lee really dig into it later on in the stream here and we can close out with the slide uh right after this one um yeah and just say that yeah this is a place as john said where we come together to connect and to biddle people of all experience levels it's people who code people who design business developers marketers it takes a lot of people to make a strong team and to make cool projects and that's kind of the whole point is we support each other in making the decentralized future one prototype at a time well i'm gonna really dig into our travel information here i'm sure a lot of you folks are curious about how to get to eat denver and what to spec expect while you're here so i preferred some high-level bullet points if you forget everything i'm saying it's at eatdenver.
comtravel i'll say it more than once so we've got a few venues this year as john mentioned as we explode from around 2000 people in 2020 to potentially 8 000 give or take in downtown denver this year the sports castle just can't hold us all so the good news is that means we're expanding and growing and we're adding the art hotel and temple's mirrors gallery as a few of our satellite venues don't worry they've got their own stages their own snacks their own biddling space and they're all within two blocks of each other so it's going to be a continuous flow despite being in the middle of downtown denver really impressed with the teams that are getting this all locked in up next you'll see some flight information for those of you coming in from out of town via plane denver international airport the code is den if you're booking your flights but locals know it as dia if you want to really show your stuff it's pretty close to downtown you can either get your favorite ride share service or take the airport light rail if you prefer public transit either way is going to be totally fine for you and for obvious reasons you should still be booking refundable flights at this point we're doing everything we can to be ready it's looking very unlikely that we're going to have to do anything that extreme but we're recommending it to folks just because it's good practice as for hotels if you haven't had a chance to snag yours yet i highly recommend it we've still got a few available at discount rates that we were able to negotiate with the local hotels on your behalf if you want access to those less expensive rates all you got to do is go to eatdenver.com travel and use the buttons on our website where we show you the address and picture of each hotel and there's a button a link that says book now and it'll automatically apply that promo code for you we're making it easy for you to show up and remove as many barriers as possible this event is free to attend and always will be so if you're not getting the theme yet our dream is to make it as easy as possible for you all to connect and biddle if you are hoping to book a hotel a few days before or a few days after at that discounted rate it might still be possible so if you have some questions feel free to ask over on our discord folks that are coming in internationally have already been asking for these visa letters you can find more information at you guessed it denver dot com travel there's a form there it's pretty quick and easy to fill out and our team gets back to people within one or two days with exactly what you need all the information and confirmation uh you'll be attending the event so that you can get your visa squared away to be clear we're not submitting it on your behalf you're still going to need to do that but we're going to provide you all the information that you should need up next i'd love to introduce dan shields our biddleweek steward dan how you doing today oh so good yeah i can't tell you how hyped i am for eat denver already yeah can you believe it's only like a month away-ish yeah it's as john said back-to-back-to-back meetings we're getting real busy here getting things together so i'm gonna let you take it away and explain what folks can expect during biddle week you got it thanks so biddle week you guys i'd say that previous years if you've heard of this term before it might have been something like in passing something that just kind of happened before east denver right this year it is part of east denver you do not want to miss this event it is absolutely a premier time to get connected to so many awesome awesome things before the main event that's happening um and so really if you're thinking that you're going to be here the 17th to the 21st i'm saying you're missing out on a whole lot of stuff the 11th to the 17th you're going to want to be here so if your plans aren't totally booked in yet please really plan on being here why there's already rscp that wants to be here 3 000 people or more that want to be on site for all these things and there's going to be a hundred plus events that'll be all over not just denver there's some stuff being talked about in colorado too so here is a week to really stretch your legs out a little bit relax a little bit maybe and dive into a whole bunch of like what colorado culture is and maybe a little bit of biddling before we get into the main event where it can get pretty wild so this is happening again the 11th to the 17th the kickoff is going to happen both in person at the art hotel and virtually we'll we'll stream this as we're doing now on the 11th so from there um we'll have uh an open weekend that'll be a lot of fun this will be more casual relaxed events potentially some workshops and presentations may go on but this really isn't the focus of the event um over the weekend monday through thursday there will be presentations workshops all kinds of ways to learn and to grow so this is a great time come and network with fellow builders and really learn some skills here to just completely rock it in whatever you do in web3 so it could be here at east denver in the context of like winning some prizes or like maybe you're trying to get recruited or whatever it might be but beyond like we can do so much together at the on-site events as well as virtually moving forward into the east denver virtual stuff so you don't want to miss any of this and here this is new this year right previously for the hackathons you're only able to actually hack over the weekend right it's a very tight time box this year we're giving you some extra time starting the 11th all the way through the end when the presentations happen on that next sunday you're able to work on that formal project officially right so judges will be looking for the start tags basically to hit the guns running right there so if you want to just spend some time over the week to work dedicatedly on this and be around some cool stuff and maybe pop into an event or two like a social or something like this and just really focus we have open free co-working that will be available in two different venues if not more available throughout the denver area so in here again i really want you to connect with the people who are doing things that are cool in colorado like john was saying earlier um we have a really a focus on innovation here in the denver and boulder area in particular in colorado in the front range at large if you go up and down to wyoming and new mexico too um there's so much to get connected to and get immersed in and get a feel for because maybe east denver shouldn't be a one-time event for you guys if you're not locals you should be here year-round if you are a local you cannot miss this like this is the biggest event all around the world everybody is coming in to come and hang out with us come to biddle week this is where you get to really hang out and like strut our stuff guys like this is what colorado's all about so shill colorado right cool so this is a little bit of a rundown of now where things are happening right this is not an all-inclusive map it's going to get bigger but these are the official venues that you can count on that will be there right so this is stuff that eat denver formally is sponsoring representing so the castle obviously as you see in here attached zen zone that's nearby and right across the street we'll have one of these open co-working spaces this is jonas brothers uh you'll see it marked and it'll be really easy it'll be hard to miss so you cross some food trucks on your way over from the castle over whatever it might be and this is where you can hang out during middleweek in particular because the castle itself is going to be closed except for some events i believe that are starting on thursday so keep an eye out uh there'll be some more information about that kind of thing later on but the primary thrust here is what we're looking at at the top of this map is biddleweek right we've got three different venues two of which we'll see workshops and presentations and socials going on and one of which right in the middle is a nightclub that'll have some some fun parties but also in the daytime be converted into doing some fun stuff with some presentations and things like this as well and then up top of this you'll see art hotel so this uh forbidden week is where you're gonna have the kickoff right that's happening on friday as well as um the place that you're gonna register and formally get your uh you know the um wristband and a badge for the event and things like this so that you can get into all the other official venues so this year we're requiring that everybody has checked in um formally at art hotel for bid a week to go to the official venues right but that being said the official venues are going to be a small part of the overall picture of middleweek there'll be plenty of community related events all around denver that you don't necessarily need to formally register for we'd like you to um but uh just so you know there'll be very shortly a new integration with skedge to be able to uh cater and curate all the content of these hundred plus events that are about to be listed so keep an eye out for that look in the discord there'll be some big announcements about this as well there will probably be an email blast at some point too so if you want it to that scan that qr code you'll get a google map of all these locations to kind of see it in context of what else is around as well as where you might want to get some of that travel and lodging booked so all of these obviously are within walking distance of each other some of these community events may not necessarily be within walking distance keep that in mind there are some locals though that you might want to buddy up with do carpooling and things like this coordination for this can definitely happen on the discord something to keep in mind cool so that being said these hundred plus events there's still room to fit people in right so we're assembling right now if you have an idea for something you'd like to run to invite people to as a workshop or presentation or whatever it might be this is a very low barrier to entry if you want to come into an official venue right so one of those things that i mentioned near the nearest gallery and the temple nightclub and things like this we can book you and this is uh a flat rate for basically for everybody plus some auditions if you'd like of fifteen hundred dollars for two hours so if that sounds like a reasonable place to come in and get an all-inclusive totally white glove experience to run whatever you'd like to do basically a presentation for uh yourself and a hundred people live streamed via whatever uh live stream pod uh software that you'd like to be doing with us is definitely possible so um if that sounds great book an official venue with us if you're not quite sure or if you're thinking about this or if you want to gauge interest come on to the discord we have a collaborative section on biddleweek to tell us about your ideas and the stewards and the community can come in and rally behind whatever that idea might be and really figure out where it should be when it should be and all this stuff with you guys and then once that is finally formalized if it's not at one of these efficient venues you can list this very easily on this calendar and this will go up on that sketch software i was talking about so that everybody can figure out about this cool thing that you're putting on so again if you have something that you'd like to do that can't fit into the main event at east denver middleweek is a fantastic opportunity to get out there and it'll be live streamed and recorded so that nobody's going to miss it um in the long run cool so with that please again like mark your calendars come locals especially you have no excuse i'll come track you down and uh i think with that we'll talk a little bit about the next thing i think jason's going to be coming on to talk to us about this retreat which like again if you're local cannot miss cannot miss at all and if you're uh planning your travel like book this too it's going to be so much fun oh thanks dan uh well yeah great to great to see everyone uh my name is jason and i am uh steward of judging and i'm also involved in organizing the mountain retreat so the mountain retreat this year is going to happen between february 21st to february 24th uh it's happening in breckenridge we're going to the we're going to the mountain as of uh sorry as of uh today we've had 2 000 people say that they want to come so that's a lot of people to go to the mountain and in addition we've had another 200 people that have actually rsvp'd requesting buses lodging as well as wanting to know information about the ski retreat so i had a conversation with the team over at vale resorts and what we have done is we have organized five buses to go from the art hotel uh to breckenridge that's gonna happen uh on the 21st and then we're going to we've got a block of rooms at the doubletree that we'll be posting about on the retreat website coming up in the probably next week as it relates to lift tickets veil resorts is saying that if 2 000 people were to show up um they're not sure how many tickets are going to be available they're wanting to control and make sure that the experience for every single person is there so the encouragement is if you are planning on coming to the mountain retreat make sure you go to snow.com purchase your lift pass and that way you know that you'll be able to go on the mountain if you have a epic local pass or an epic like epic pass you're fine you're good to go but if you are coming and visiting and you want to ski or snowboard make sure you go to snow.com buy your lift tickets that way if you show up and you go to the box office there's a possibility that they might say that they don't have any more tickets so we want to make sure that everyone that wants to ski that you go buy tickets now so you can enjoy and hang out with all your friends as i said the doubletree we're all locked in we'll have information about that on uh eat denver dot com forward slash retreat and then uh if you're looking for transportation and you want uh or you need like a roommate go to eat denver dot com forward slash retreat click on the rsvp and then it will take you through some questions to um uh get prepared so um that is kind of everything there if you have info if you have any questions about it i'm on discord i can answer questions uh and uh just find me i'll be under versus jl and then hashtag 6506 so that's kind of everything that revolves around there uh oh sorry one last thing the to go back there will be five buses uh we're gonna have two stops one stop will be at union station and then it will go to dia and then we will also have uh some buses that just go directly from uh five but uh from breckenridge all the way to dia so you'll be able to sign up everything will be uh organized and we'll be kind of all good to go so that's everything with mountain retreat i am certain and now i'm going to kind of jump in to talk about judging and talking about the biddlethon and what that looks like for 2022 so uh so 20 22's biddlethon what this is going to look like is we have both a virtual and an in-person uh hackathon so in years past we had the the come and join hang out go to the sports castle hack have fun and then last year when covet hit we had the virtual one which was a great success had a lot of people and so we want to keep that going and as john talked about we've had 8 000 people apply we have a lot of people that want to go online and hack so you kind of have the option to choose do you want to come in person or do you want to hack online so the in-person hackathon is going to happen from february 11th through february 20th and then the virtual hackathon is going to happen from february 11th through march 21st and then on march 25th we'll come back together well and we'll kind of have a closing ceremony so now i want to just kind of talk about how do you actually form a team and what makes up a great team so to participate in the build-a-thon you have to have at least two members to form a team we want to remember that this is about collaboration it's not just about you showing up and hacking your own project we really want to build community build collaboration and foster what's coming in the future um now the maximum amount of people that can join a team is four so maximum four minimum two now if you don't have a team there are a couple different ways that you can build one one you can go to our discord channel and start chatting in the find a team channel you can join the event following the open ceremony where you'll get to hang out with other biddlers and talk about the things that you're passionate about and form a team and then if you're showing up as dan was just talking about uh biddleweek biddleweek is another great place there's going to be talks and opportunities to mingle with other people co-working space and maybe through conversation you'll be able to jump in together and end up forming a team and continuing continuing to hack um now what makes up a great team that's a that's a question a lot of people ask well one of the things that i have loved about eat denver is that it's both it's both for experienced people as well as new developers and it's also for business-minded people designers creatives comedians photographers musicians students and basically as john talked about everyone and anyone that is interested in the ethereum economy or even just blockchain in general should come hang out and hack in past years a team that has a diverse set of skills are really the ones that kind of have led on to some really incredible projects and i believe that that's something that we're going to see this year as well so this year each team who is submitting a project is going to have to choose from one of nine different tracks now this is different than years in past years in past you had to decide if you wanted to compete in either the open or an impact track this year we have nine tracks and the nine tracks that are included are colorado jam thousand communities defy impact mobile first focus track nfts gaming in the metaverse infrastructure and scalability and space in the new frontier so every team that is formed will have the chance to compete and choose one of these awesome nine tracks and then you'll compete together to become one of the top 20 finalists where teams will then present on the main stage and to the live stream and get to present in front of a select group of celebrity judges and to the people around the world now we're still finalizing who the judges are and all that details are going to come up in the upcoming weeks so what is it going to look like this year to submit projects for the hackathon so this year eat denver is going to be partnering with dora hacks to provide the support to the biddlethon this is going to be both support to the in person as well as the virtual so the website that everything is going to be living in is called hackerlink.io this will be the place that you go to submit your project this is going to be for judging and for voting for projects so each team will upload their biddle to the hacker link website you're going to provide details about your project the problems that you solved challenges that you might have encountered while you were hacking the technologies that you used that that's going to be really critical and important for the bounties and then any relevant information with regards to like github visuals presentations and then the the last thing is that you're going to be required to have a three to five minute video demonstration of it and we want this because we're trying to foster community and we want judges to be able to have access to it as well as we're really trying to create a like science fair type experience to where people that are say are virtual have the opportunity to come and see the projects that you are biddling and then the people that are biddling in the sports council can share it so that the people that are virtual can also experience it so it's going to be a really cool experience everything's done on the blockchain and we're really excited to kind of see what this is going to look like for 2022.
now let's talk about prizes and bounties so 20 22 year uh as john just mentioned we're we're at a little over a million in prizes and bounties and then we have another two million in grants and investment opportunities now you might be wondering we have the virtual and we have the in person how are we going to split the the winnings between the two well we've chosen that we're going to go 50 50. so 50 will be distributed to the in person and 50 is going to be distributed to the virtual hackathon now what's really cool is we have the in-person event that's happening march 11th through the 20th and then we have the virtual that's happening february 11th through march 20 20 first so if you hack in the in person one and you want to continue working on what you're hacking on you can continue working on it in the virtual and continue to go after the same bounties that you might have gone after in in person so it's kind of a really cool experiment where you'll be able to um hack in person hack online you can go after both um and then just really kind of we want to keep fostering development and innovation within the space now as i mentioned earlier i talked about the science fair idea so in the sports castle when we get into the judging space we're going to have designated areas throughout the castle that are specifically assigned to each track and we're going to do this so that people are able to go walk around and experience and talk with the different biddlers about what is it that they worked on what is it that they uh solved and be able to kind of engage in community um and that will also transpire and exist in the virtual castle as well um now in regards to what the judging process looks like how much in bounties per track how the distribution is all going to work we're still ironing out the details on that and in the coming weeks we'll end up talking about that and in addition we also have some really exciting things coming out about like quadratic funding with spork um who's the celebrity judges are as well as as the bounties so i would uh encourage you to continue coming back to these um these events on fridays and as we will be talking about the judging bounties and distribution uh in the upcoming weeks um and so i think with that that's about all that i have if you have any questions about bounties and and and judging and distribution or uh trying to find a team look for me on uh on discord and i look forward to uh to working with all of you and um i think from there derek i think i'm good um yeah you're great i really appreciate you being here before i let you go would you be willing to review those nine tracks focus on the chat with them again yeah absolutely so the nine tracks are colorado gem thousand communities d5 impact mobile first focus nfts gaming and metaverse infrastructure and scalability and then i think the one that i'm really really excited about is the space and the new frontier so like of course space and blockchain how awesome so i think i'm good thank you i really appreciate it thanks for being here today um as we get ready to close i'd love to bring matt locker back up here hi matt good to see you hey guys so i mean we just got a whirlwind tour through all this information i'm just so excited and and again i can't underscore what john pauler said when he cameoed uh if people missed that there's thousands of applications already um for people coming in person to denver so this will literally be uh i i have no other word to describe it other than a freak show there will be so many people uh it will be so fun and the other venues that you guys uh showed off i've been to those venues before in previous east denver but only for little special events and and having those running the entire hackathon and conference is just going to be incredible um it'll be a very very exciting time uh in denver with everyone in person and i look forward to seeing everyone look forward to seeing you all too if you would like to ask your questions and we didn't have a chance to address them today i highly encourage everyone watching to go to discord.gigi sporkdao that's case sensitive and join our discord it's already starting to grow and the conversations are humming introduce yourself in introductions say gm gm and most importantly see you in friday morning icebreaker we've got text and voice channels if you'd like to connect just to make it a little easier after the stream
