ventures and uh I going to speak to the point of founding of the uh web 3 efforts that uh is pretty hot at the moment. Um as most of you guys probably know, OKX is uh one of the most trusted uh exchange uh operating in um globally. And here is a brief introduction of the uh timeline of the progress. Um most notably I think uh we've uh uh in the past year or so we've uh uh become more and more visible with all the branding partnership and uh you know the web3 efforts which I going to uh go through momentarily. by the number uh 2017 OKX was founded and right now we have uh slightly over 3,000 employees in over 180 regions and uh we claim to have over 20 million customers.

Um I hope they're still around but uh that's uh that's uh that's there. And um we've executed since the fund found funding uh over 25 billion trades and um uh we have over 220 trading pairs. Uh so I think that part is better known or well known already uh to hopefully to the audience here. Now if you look now visit us on uh your smart device or through website or or otherwise uh with the browser extensions you'll notice that OKX app has this uh exchange mode but also a wallet mode. I think we are uh supporting over 40 uh blockchains, layer one chains and uh uh become a very uh useful and very uh streamlined um gateway for people looking to explore the world of NFTTS or metaverse um while trading gamefy and defy tokens at the same time.

Um this is getting late but we do have a booth around and you're welcome to check out our uh East Dammer booth and uh you know play around our web three offerings. Of course you're welcome to to visit our website or download apps as well. Now um OKX Ventures um this is really just a uh investment arm of OKX. Uh so the capital deployed is the um the uh balance sheet of uh OKX and in the past year or so you know we've been focusing on discoveries and investments in different uh spaces and um so from the logos above uh you'll notice that uh we invested in wax um you know the the probably the public chain that has most transactions and uses supporting gaming industry and um we have invested a couple of the NFT marketplaces um namely Outlook uh Outland and uh and another one that we're going to announce uh in couple weeks time and um we are uh supporting the row uh ZK rollups and uh Abitram Scroll uh ZK sync stackware and um not just investing them we're also working very closely with them in building out the uh product offerings. So our mission is really to explore and invest on the innovative blockchain projects and uh capital enable the the ecosystem you know um on the back of our uh platform and different uh uh engineering capabilities.

So I guess that's a big biggest differentiator um of what we do relative to our competitors or our uh venture capital list friends. Now what are we focusing and uh so this is really the focus of today's presentation. So having uh survived the uh uncertain times um we are very much focused on three things uh for the coming months. uh I'll go through one by one but uh uh so firstly is the uh onboarding focused innovation it's really about the mass adoption then uh infrastructure then lastly the onchain security this is uh almost a cliched but a very very much a crypto critical uh topic uh for the blockchain uh enthusiasts and developers all over the places. So how do we on board next million dollar million users or tens of millions users?

So different people have uh different perspectives but we've w witnessed in the past few years uh you know really the defi summer the game fights uh ups and downs and what's going to happen you know in the in the in the coming months or coming years. what we've done uh as a firm is uh launching uh I think right now pretty widely accepted and acclaimed product uh that's our web 3 um wallet. So on the technology side um you know we've uh done this as a decentralized multi-chain uh multi-chain crosschain uh decks and uh it's uh has um accommodated over 1,000 DAB protocols and uh if you play on this you will see a very very streamlined and simple um user interface. Um you know of course there are a lot of development a lot of technologies underlying that but uh uh this is a very powerful uh platform for users and uh right now we are happy to report that we have over 1 million users uh for our web 3 wallet and the daily active users uh have exceeded 100,000. Now we have more and more uh uh we've seen more and more efforts from the so-called traditional uh players either in the internet or mobile space or even more traditional.

We always always joked about web 0.3 version of business. Now trying to tap into web 3 and uh uh they're not as committed or they're still suspicious about the technology about the regulatory impact what have you. So uh we've seen this is so-called 2.5 applications.

So we continue to uh look for projects and the partners um that are venturing into the the the crypto space and uh provide uh development tools um to enable them uh to uh uh to get into that. Namely, you know, the uh game, the DeFi, the NFT projects. Uh, Therver is a game studio uh in Japan uh founded by uh former Gumi uh Gumi Gaming uh founder and uh it's very interesting. They are a uh gaming publisher model. They have different studios teams working underneath.

Uh they've done two uh AR games and they've just launched last year two uh NFT games. Um and of course we invest in uh Akala which is a the DeFi hub of uh Polka Dot Taki and um HUG um uh a uh NFT curation platform on the infrastructure side. Uh I'll try to do this raw um interroperability. I always have problem with this and uh so we're we're doing uh layer zero uh uh side of uh you know uh investment on layer 2 as I reported uh we've invested in scroll zk sync startear uh and u you know in the multi-chain landscape uh we've been reviewing projects um in cosmos salana polka dot um throughout the uh the landscape G now uh onchain security is you know has always been the been the issue. I don't need to highlight that or repeat that anymore.

Um so what we've done is a uh a very uh powerful tool u of okay link which is open to use uh to everyone. So you're welcome to visit oklink.com and uh this is a database that we we've uh uh created and amounted to over 200 TB of onchain data and supports full node data an analysis of more than 21 public chains and um you know we've been working with law enforcement agencies all over the world uh in China in states in uh Europe uh for uh counter you know uh criminal uh activities and um we have over 1.6 uh billion addresses that have labels. So this have uh has uh greatly differentiated our capability with uh other competitor.

Am I running out? No. Good. That's back. Good.

Now um one thing that uh I think we've been uh we're very much humbled uh to see is the um is the uh the birth or or the thrive uh vain development of Dow organizations all over the places and uh we had a firm we have uh you're good okay Yeah, at OKX Ventures we um uh we respect and admire the uh achievements that have been made uh in different DA organizations and we are learning uh to be more than just an investor but more as a contributor uh to different DA efforts. So um I will name as a uh as an example uh Gitcoin as some of you uh might be familiar but uh let me uh take the opportunity to uh walk you through. Um so Gitcoin DAW is really a decentralized autonomous organization that promotes funding of public goods um like open- source software and um uh trying to build a community and which we believe is the largest developers community on Ethereum. So uh right now there's uh uh over 300,000 active developers um and uh since the founding of the DAO it has uh secured a deployed total funding of over 50 million and uh and supporting close to to 4 million transactions. So uh with Gitcoin DAO we contribute to public goods funding uh laying the foundation for a open-source builder friendly and a crypto for good world and uh we hope to support different projects uh regardless of geographic locations we don't necessarily have a focus there and um participate in the uh actively in the um uh funding rounds on uh Gitcoin.

So with that uh I would encourage some of you in the audience uh to explore and reach out either directly or through us uh Gitcon and uh for the you know uh uh uh projects on Ethereum. Lastly, I want to say that uh you know we've uh uh supercharging our uh been supercharging our OKX brand and nurturing new community communities through our partnerships. Uh as you can see we're we're title partners of uh you know the top engineering team at uh McLaren racing team for the top sports team uh of men city and uh we're also try to work with independent and creative minds like uh Tbaka film festival we've launched an FT for the film festival's u uh tickets and uh I think in the coming week uh there will be a very um huge uh music festival where we will be the uh NFT sponsor uh for that matter and uh stay tuned for that. Okay, so that wraps up my uh presentation and uh so here's the contacts and uh you guys are welcome to reach out to me directly or my colleagues and uh we have team based in the west coast in the Bay Area in LA and uh Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore and uh we do organize uh hackathons or demo days um and you would notice from the the social media that uh we are actually having a hackathon ong uh with uh Google Cloud uh uh that's uh going to be taking place uh in the last week of this month. With that, thank you so much and uh for sticking around.

Thank you. Have a good night. [Music]
