turn the exe I like a stage like a hello adventurers I'm sort of from India and let me start off with a question how many of you want to be the protagonist of your own life everyone right uh yeah so this is the vision that the Sci-Fi authors of the' 70s and 80s tried to bring forward with these Choose Your Own Adventure style stories right starting with some of you might have played this game called Z right which was uh this massive if sort of game wherein a person can choose his or her own adventure and take the story forward and there have been many games that took a stab at this concept in ' 70s and ' 80s and there was a famous movie by Netflix as well which sort of was in the same domain but this this genre un unfortunately is dying down right and it's not hard for us to see by making this these sort of narratives is incredibly difficult you have to factor in all kinds of complexities right uh the story has to be cohesive when you have like a million threads com million or billion possibilities right so fortunately for us that could be a renissance that could be coming right with uh the Advent of these Frontier llm models so here the author doesn't really have to hardcode all of these every single thread in his mind and in short a cursive narrative flows through instead just uh write the AI wave and let uh the llm do all the art work so this is what I'm trying to build here uh with this tool by Macy which is helping me do a lot of heavy lifting so the basic concept is a group of people can come together and collaboratively shape the story of uh of anything like if if if you have like a dragon story or if you're flying a spacecraft together right people can come together and vote on how how you want to take the story forward and you can keep going and maybe it's better if I give you a demo it make more sense right so uh I wouldn't go into the Integrity of how mey works but just on a very high level you have very strong privacy and sensorship resist in guarantees with this tool and um this way you can also be sure that a lot of people are not colluding uh and taking the story in One Direction right it's there could be group thing that could happen in cases like this so it's it's great to use a tool like Macy and I'm using this open source model a tiny model compared to what KY was talking it's not 300 B parameters it's just 7 billion parameters so you can actually run it on your MacBook as well and that's what I'm going to do now right and I promise you this is going to be the most fun demo hopefully right but before we step into the demo I would need three volunteers yeah please R yeah it's going to be a lot of fun I guarantee you that no dragons are going to be harm yeah I one more volunteer all right so this is the UI and let's kick start the story now so I have prompt engineer the model so that hopefully it gives us some sort of sci-fi tail in the future of Taiwan so let's see uh even even I have no clue what can come very existence I I've have not written any of this I just prompt engineered to give me some visit like this as you take a moment to gather your thoughts a holographic message interrupts your train of thought it's an anonymous tip the AI is planning a major attack on the conference fin stop at before it's too late now with the time running out you have three options to consider infiltrate the AI lay hidden deep within typ a 101 Building risky but potential reward could be immense number two hack into the City's power grid disrup the as operational operations temporary c tech solution option three seek help from an enigmatic figure rum to have a deep understanding of quantum mechanics right so uh all of you are going to help the protagonist shape the story forward okay so in the count of three I would ask you all three of you to raise your hand and give me a choice okay and basically uh based on the consensus that's how the story will move ahead okay so 3 2 1 only four wow I I really did not think about this qu I don't know how it's going to go now let's see okay so I written like a little script to handle this so player one gift one okay one 2 one right so it's submitting that to the blockchain and it's cre like a zero knowledge proof uh on the blockchain so all of these inputs are hidden but if there is like if if there is a TI that has happened unfortunately it's going to be a random one now all right so yeah it's this is not how it's supposed to go fully people reach consensus but that's okay all right so yeah choice three was chosen and um yeah it it it it shows you the contract and what was that antic figure remote rumor to have a deep understanding of quantum okay so yeah I picked the third option and like taking the story forward and uh this will keep going on and on you can keep this story going forward I um configured it in such a way that it ends after 20 rounds but you can have it be a bigger one as well and yeah in the interest of time I I think we are
