[Music] hello eth Global bangcock so our team is gearing up for another amazing hackathon and we can't wait to see all the familiar and even new Builders hacking Out in southeast Asia so for Bangkok we have a combined Linea and metamask API Bounty which we suggest taking a look at on the E Global site and checking out all of our resources um I can't stress enough uh how important it is for the developers and the builders the hackers out at eth Global to check in with our Dev rails that are on site so I think you should talk with them about your project ideas Ure you have all the information that you need to create a quality submission right how can you earn extra points Etc so to find out about that of course you can just check the eth global uh Bounty page for us but definitely talk to our team about how you can earn additional points by utilizing the metamask API in your project um we might have some additional tools out for you to build with and so it's always a good uh idea to just check in with our Dev rails that are on site so what can you build well really you can build anything you can build a defi uh application decentralized social app an attestation dap um using something like verax with Linea you can build something in gaming really any Innovative project is great these ideas are only suggestions and we love uh just being surprised about what the builders create out at eth Global so you know do whatever you like uh just take some of those considerations uh into mind and yeah build build what you see fit now deploying to Linea is fairly simple uh we ask that you include a read me in your project that has your deployed Linea uh contract address on testet um or mainnet if you decide to go that route and also a link to Linea skin just so we can validate uh that you actually did um deploy a contract to Linea now how to get Linea sapoia eth uh you can do that by bridging sapoia on our linear Bridge which you'll find in the resources um you can also get again regular sapoia from places like the Google sapoia faucet you can just search that it's a great place to get uh regular sapoia or if you have an infer account you can go and get um sapoia or Linea sapoia from our infura faucet so hit that up a few days before you head out to the hackathon so that you have some otherwise you can always check in with our Devils uh someone should have some Linea eth there but it's always great to kind of um have that before you head out to the hackathon if you can now finally you can find links to our bridge and our faucet and all of the bounty resources on the eth global page for our Bounty just remember that any sapoia tokens that you have already they can easily be bridged over to Linea sapoia um yeah finally I just want to hand off to my colleague Alejandro so he's going to go over a CLI that we've built to help uh hackers get started out at hackathons it doesn't make a lot of decisions for you and and kind of wires up both a front end and uh kind of a blockchain and smart contract directory we also have a workshop demo repo that you can check out that's in our resources uh if you're new to web 3 or if you just want to see something that's already built with some of our products go check that out um but yeah other than that um alandre is going to show you how to deploy the Linea from both hard hat and Foundry and I just want to wish the absolute best luck to all the hackers out there um whether you're submitting to our Bounty or others if you're watching this video good luck and our team can't wait to see you guys out at eth Bangkok hello the isra and today we're going to learn how to deploy P smart cont truck to lenia using the hard Hut and and foundary we're also going to be using the consens CI which is a tool that we have created for you to scuffle the project right pretty easily so you can have like the main set up for your project like a having a connection for your wallet and connected directly to anyia using VM and if you want you can also add a vouching package h you could you can choose between using Foundry or hard hat so you'll have all your packages there and yeah you'll be able to deploy a contract using that so let's give it a look right here um right here I am going to run a the command for our CLI to stop the project uh which is MPX um at SL create with free these will ask us for the name of the project I am just going to call it um L demo let's say we're going we we can choose between react and next year this time we're going just to pick react where we we're using VD bre here uh we're going to do both we're going to start with hard hard in this case and I am going to use pmpm because it's way faster if I start theend this is using pmpm so yes now uh let me change directory to linear demo and then start uh see what we have right here if you see we have a package with a Block Chain M uh package yeah we have the packages directory with the blockchain package uh which has the hardhead config TTS and all that and the site we're going to give it a little like a bit later so let's from install from the rout so that way we can install all the dependen fees uh for a project this will take some time not too much for using pmpn this time but let's see great we have our H dependencies installed uh let's just check what we have with sa to the packages that site and let's run PM PM dep and let's see what we have right here so if you see we have have a template pretty basic we have a connect wallet button right here this is asking me to translate but I don't want it hold it uh okay this is because I am in the WR uh space I guess let me just try it again can I wet yes so now I can connect my wallet and here it is this is my wallet address I'm connected and I can disconnect so this is already set up with the minam masd cas so you can just start building from here uh this is just an overview of this you have a lot more to see how we set up the project and all that's but the main focus of of this is about our blockchain package and here we are going to basically deploy a cont TR to Linea using car the template already comes with the uh configuration to deploy to Linea so if you see right here you have Linea testnet which is the F in this Cas in this case and you can deploy uh to the linear test net basically you also need to add your private account and your inferior to the DMV file so that way you can uh deploy your contract so yes H that's exactly what I am going to do right here we have the uh DMB file that example that we have so basically I'm am going to copy this right here and going to rename these to DM and right here I'm going to delete these comments and I'm am going to add my the if API key and my account private key of course I'm not going to show you to show you this so I'm going to cut here okay so we're back I I have added my API Keys um so yeah basically now what we have to do is to run the MPX had uh ignition deploy so a command so we can deploy our contract basically we are using the sample contract that har has har hat brings when we install the dependencies and all that and when we initialize a project so yeah we're we're going to be deploying that and we're going to be deploying it to the line testment so let's drive command confirm uh we want to deploy to the network Linea testnet let's say J and see okay we're back uh we have deploy our contract and this is the address actually to make sure we deployed it correctly let's just give it a look at the uh linear scan so yeah one minute ago it's working well we just de played this is my adapter so yeah we just de played the contract so it is that easy actually of course the complicated part is is to create a specific contract and make it a real that but deploying it to Linea by using the C is actually qu quite easy and also using um hard height in this case so so yeah uh now let's try using Foundry so basically what I'm going to do is to close this folder right here H this is linear demo so I'm going to STI the back and I'm going to run uh or command npx no this it's not that one I'm going to run it from the beginning so let's run MPX uh can at can sending space uh Slash create web 3 template and let's say this one was a linear demo let's say boundary Linea demo for this one we can do both we can pass the parameter just with the uh main command or we can add it later it doesn't matter we are going to use react with B again uh we're going to use Foundry this time and we're going to use pmpn uh again so yes we have created our project so now we can it change by directory to boundary which is the name I forgot foundary L then so say code that and let's give this a look again we have a packages directory with the blockchain and side directory the side directory this time is the same this time it's the same because we're using bit again uh with react and typescript and all that but the blockchain package has changed if you see we have this Foundry ml file uh and we have the h t i mean the these scripts uh for using Forge this time to deploy the contract H using um Foundry basically this is already done we have uh a counter that so a contract it's also created with the main configuration of uh Foundry so this time we are going to do the same I again um we have this um uh command break here which is the one we need to uh call to deploy our contract because we already have a contract as I mentioned so we can run Forge create H create H we can add the RPC URL we're are going to use infer for this time also we did that in the past one uh we're going to use our private kitties it is your wallet private key so you can add it uh here and you're are going to uh also pass like the um the source of your uh contract so let's do this I am going to do this H in another screen because I don't want to link my private key and my uh if IPI key but I will show you the Resto as you see we have deployed our contract um yeah my private c i my private key and all that it's safe I'm going to hide this from you guys uh but yeah this is what it it's important for us so yeah the declarer this is my wallet address and this is the contract that we just deployed let's just give it a look on ether scan and let's see y we just deployed it uh one minute ago so yeah uh this is working um basically what we have to do right here or what we have right here is a a pretty simple example of how we can deploy a a contract by using the c um of course this is a pretty simple example uh because we are using like the contract that the we have with the setup of boundary in this case but ER yeah basically you just have to update that contract and run the H Forge command that we left you H in the description and yeah that basically that will be it so I hope this video uh was a useful go for you and yeah uh see you bye-bye [Music]
