Disrupting the Music Industry and Building a Web3 Interactive Music Platform by Adrian Quihuis

Ethereum DenverMon, Oct 9, 2023, 12:00 AM

"A Game Changer has shifted the music industry and it has been heavily disrupted by technology, leading to a decline in traditional revenue streams such as music studios, record labels and a shift towards streaming services. However, the centralized nature of these platforms has resulted in a lack of transparency, control for music artists and a lack of connection to their community. Muverse, a web3 interactive music platform offers a solution by utilizing decentralized technology to create a more equitable and transparent ecosystem. This platform would allow artists to directly connect with their fans, monetize their content, and retain ownership of their intellectual property. The platform would also utilize blockchain technology to securely track and manage rights and royalties, ensuring that artists receive fair compensation for their work. With a Web3 Interactive Music Platform, artists have the ability to engage with their audience in new and innovative ways, creating a more immersive, interactive and personalized music experience. Music fans, collectors and content creators can enhance the connection between music fans and artists by providing a more community driven, content creating and experiential experience. . By building a Web3 Interactive Music Platform, we can create a more equitable and sustainable future for the music artists, icons, fans and collectors. Are you ready for a web3 interactive concert experience." Speaker: Adrian Quihuis - CMO of Muverse

Building an interactive web 3 music platform. Now, we are all here because things are broken or we know how to fix or improve them. One thing that is definitely broken is the music industry. In general, people talk about how they need to change. There are too many centralized streaming services .

There is no transparency between streaming services and record labels. There is a predominance of record labels predominance of record labels , the major labels, which hold back these emerging musicians. There is also an outdated business model. We continue to use a business model for the music industry that has existed since Elvis Presley. That definitely has to change.

And many of these musicians have a short professional life and very limited connections with their fans because they don't know how to interact with them. I myself started a rap career and dealt with many of the same problems that many of these musical artists are facing right now of these musical artists are facing right now . You know, I couldn't get a record label. Trying to throw it. I had to do it myself.

I barely earned any income. It's not even enough to sustain a career. I think my mother probably bought most of my albums. And when I posted it on social media, I got views, but I had no way of knowing who these people were. There was no way to have these interactions.

And you know, if they sign with a seal, it's something that will mark their lives. Something different, something that can build a musician's career in the long term. So we created an interactive Web 3.0 music platform and offer a community-driven solution , a community- driven Web 3.0 music platform for musicians, independent artists, even music fans or investors, content creators, influencers for everyone.

Is the next Lady Gaga or Billy Eyish on Muiverse? Yes. Yes, it is . Now, if you're a musical artist, this is very simple. You can move forward, upload your music, create, mint and sell your NFTs, find new investors, new fans, investors who will help you in your long-term career.

And that's what many of these musicians are looking for. How to sustain your career, real-time royalties on your music, and a deeper connection with your fans— a committed connection with your fans a committed connection with your fans , similar to the one Taylor Swift has with hers—and you start earning income immediately. So, one of the key things for these musicians to have this deeper interaction with their fans is rhythm play. The rhythm game is one of our most popular games on the platform and it's for everyone - musicians, artists, content creators, influencers, all of them. You get your NFTTS headphones and you can create the rhythm game.

We also have many other games on the platform. If you love to sing, you can sing your favorite music and earn an income. If you just want to listen to music, you can earn income listen to music, you can earn income . We are all music fans. Why are we limited to just watching or listening?

Why can't we earn income, like investors and musicians? If you love to dance, we have something that lets you dance, earn money, and listen to your favorite songs. And we have many other revenue streams that are also on the platform. If you are an NFTTS investor, you can mint and sell FNFTs, AMM funds. Everyone can win in different ways, whether you're a fan, investor, or musician.

Well, this is one of our dual token models. We have this MCT. This is our token in the application. And we also have MU, which also has more advanced features on the platform. And this is a bit of our tokconomics.

As we said before, transparency is key for Muverse, our fans, investors, and musicians. And we wanted to have that transparency so we could show everyone what we're doing, our roadmap, what 's happening, where everything is headed, so they feel like they're also part of this community. And take a look at it. But we're not finished. We 're not finished.

What we're doing is bringing thousands of musicians, artists, and content creators onto the platform across the United States and around the world. Our unique advantage is that we have teams all over the world. We have a team in China, we have a team in Korea, we have a team in Canada, all over the world that are bringing in artists. When we started, we interviewed a lot of musicians, and one of the key things they said many times was that they wanted to be able to access new markets, specifically China, you know, across the sea, and be able to reach those different types of markets and fan bases and find new fan bases. That's why we have teams all over the world that are constantly adding people.

Musicians who are in Korea and Korean artists, K-pop artists, can have a fan base in the United States, and American artists can also have a fan base in China, in Korea, all over the world. That's why we want these artists to have unique fan bases all over the world, and not just in the United States. We will also be adding many major pop artists this year. We are already in talks with many people, many renowned pop artists. We have already worked with Lee Hungi and we have also collaborated with Acon.

But we have many more pop music stars to add to the platform because it will help not only these pop stars, but also independent musicians. By incorporating them, they will be able to help the careers of these independent artists, and that will be something that will help them. But many fans and content creators will also be able to interact with their fans and find and discover new artists they want to invest in. Furthermore, in the fourth quarter of 2023 of this year, Muiverse will have our beta version of our own Metaspace. And from this function, we will be able to create users who can create web concerts, web music parties, have their own rooms or, you know, spaces, metal spaces for their music, their fans and really achieve a deeper engagement with their community, which will prolong their career and be more interactive, like: "Hey, this is what I'm doing as my career grows."

So this is our user growth strategy that we have right here. Right now we're doing a lot of ambassador programs, community airdrops, and in fact, we're moving into the second phase, in which we'll be bringing in a lot of pop stars and also collaborations with influencers. These collaborations with influencers will be from all these major platforms: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and Spotify, you know, many of these artists are looking to find their place on their platform or in how they build their career. And this is something for talented musicians who are starting out, who want to do it but don't really know how their career is going and who run into that wall when trying to get into those record labels. And that's how we're going to incorporate many of these independent artists as well.

And then, in the next phase as well. And then, in the next phase , we will add more rhythm game features similar to singing and dancing. We can also add a game to your workout, whether you're cycling or jumping rope, so you can earn money while listening to music. And the NFT exchange will have a deeper connection there and also more of the metaverse. Music is for everyone.

And that's what we're trying to say. This isn't just for musicians. It's not just something for music fans. It's something for everyone, even NFT investors. I think all of this is very important and I think it's something we're passionate about.

We have teams all over the world who are very passionate about bringing new communities on board, and they're from different age groups, you know, from Generation Z to Generation A, back to Generation Y, all those different age groups and nationalities looking to advance their careers, delve deeper into their deepest love of music, and how they want to sustain their careers. Thank you all. This is Muverse. Thank you so much. Brilliant.

Thank you so much. Brother, how are you? Delighted to work. Hey, how's it going, man? What's your name?

Taj. Taj, brother. How is your funding going? How is your progress in that area? Regarding fundraising and things like that.

I'm curious to see where they stand with regards to the platform. Yes, necessarily. Did they obtain venture capital funding or something like that? How has it been to start this, get it going, and gain momentum and all that, if I may ask? Yes.

Yes. Well, we have many investors all over the world. One thing is that we have created many companies of this type in Web 3. We have venture capital backers, mostly in China, but we also have some in the US. but we also have some in the US.

That's where we have a unique advantage, because we have many sponsors around the world and that's why we can start several teams in Korea, China and Indonesia. So we were able to start like that. Most of them come from China, but we also have some from the US and we are also looking to bring on more people. Is there anyone else in the market people. Is there anyone else in the market ?

Well, I'm also curious, are you going to do it on ETH or L2? Repeat it. Is it on ETH? Is it on the Ethereum platform or some L2 platform, or are we creating our own ? We need to make ETH.

Yes. And then also in the aspect of ETH. Nothing. But we are creating our own platform, not to compete with others. And how do you convince an artist who knows nothing about NFTTS or anything?

Not just your company, but in general, so that it can be part of it because, obviously part of it because, obviously , you are also competing with other companies. And then you have to tell them that once you've sold them the idea that once you've sold them the idea , they have to choose you. And I don't know if your arguments are good for someone who plays guitar and writes songs. Yes. Well, their question was, how do we convince independent artists, emerging artists, to join the platform?

Well, actually, in this incorporation of thousands of artists, we have a deeper connection. It's not something we're trying to do on a large scale; In fact, we interviewed many of them and found out what their weaknesses are. And it's a case- by-case analysis. We have a great team, so we can figure out what their weaknesses are. Many of these independent artists don't know how to develop career strategies.

And at Muverse, we have many people who are experienced musicians, people who were in the industry in that way. So that's the guidance we'll be able to provide. And it's also that many of them have a kind of wall they hit and they don't really know where to go because they're just focusing on their music. And that's why we have many easy-to-use tools and we do a step-by-step process, you know, when we're onboarding. We have a kind of product manager, managers who were able to establish deep connections with these artists.

We want these artists to have total control over what they want to do, with everything, but giving them the opportunity to sustain their careers long-term. It's not something we can simply incorporate and that's it simply incorporate and that's it . It's a way of educating them about the qualities and benefits of this, instead of constantly trying to chase after those big record labels that are disappearing or are also trying to figure it out. It's a kind of deeper connection that we 're making. Yes.

Yes. No, no, no. Right now we are in the phase where we are incorporating artists and also looking for talent. But yes, in the coming months it will be open to all types of artists who will be able to join the platform and upload their music. That's why we have these easy-to-use tools that allow independent artists to enter the platform, upload their music, create it, sell it, and generate income.

So yes, we will be opening them in the coming months, and if you follow us on our social media channels, we are constantly updating with new features, functions, and news about where we are. We are completely transparent in what we do. Okay. Anything else? We have maybe a minute left.

I think that's all. But I have one more thing to say. I'm going to release my second rap album in May on Muiverse. So, guys, make sure you check it out . I'm really excited about that.

And I know my time is running out, but I'm not leaving. I'm not leaving. I'm not leaving. I'm not leaving. Give everyone a round of applause.

Thanks, guys. Thank you. Thank you. Alright.
