ETHGlobal New Delhi Recap Video

[music] Namaskar everybody. This is our fifth hackathon in India but our first time in the [music] capital New Delhi.

First thing that I stepped in and noticed was the Indian feeling that we get. So authentic. All this over there is amazing. You can really see that you guys are putting in our culture, embracing it once people come in with the heavy baggages and everything and they get checked [music] in. You can see their faces all smiling and turning up.

That just makes our day, right? And it's so much fun to see them, you know, get to the environment and get to work.

Yes, I'm all pumped up. No sleeve, no nothing. Every time I'm going to be interacting with people, communicating, networking, and obviously building, hacking.

These hackers are actually now ideulating. They are forming teams. they are forming connections and uh going to mentors validating their ideas and uh tell you what you can do more than what you're actually thinking right now.

Firstly, as a mentor, I've been getting a lot of questions which I previously had at [music] different hackathons. A lot of them were like, what ideas do we build on? Do I use AI agents? Do I optimize for bounties? The drive to build and everyone really wants to onboard the next one.

I think that's the most coolest part here. [music]

Just watching everybody build something basically from scratch. Coming up with some something [music] tangible in three days is kind of like a superpower. The second day it's going to be more amazing.

Obviously, I skipped my exams to be here. So, I got to make sure I it marks something.

I see a lot of builders here, a lot of sales, fun activities, and a massive crowd here. And the energy here is actually electrifying. And I'm so amazed to see [music] everybody building here even at the 2 a.m. and working all together.

The amount of energy they guys have, they're pushing it, man. Come on. The event is [music] amazing. It's a huge event. It's 2,000 people around me.

They are all hacking and we all have [music] really fun conversation. On day two, you will have figured your idea. Then you will see the deadline. Then you will see, okay, these things are not working. Then you will see this teammate is not working.

[laughter] So every everything's going to fall on day two. So communicate, communication is the key. Ask for help, mentors.

So at 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning, [music] what happens is people are deeply into the coding stuff. They just started building. They idated what they have to do. Now they are flowing into the thing. Now they're debugging what they have actually built out.

Chaos. It's complete chaos.

Going to the judges and they said if you ship [music] this, we are going to be your first user. And that boosted me till an extent that I'm working on it full-time now. The best part is the coffee like you get 24 hours coffee experience which is much needed when you are building something you need overnight coffee you get a one [music] it gives me so much power and uh makes me feel that I'm the one [music] and I can actually win anyone out of these all

I'm sure everyone got the potential the submissions so far have been great phenomenal and I can't wait to see who wins [music] so many interesting things and kind of trying to bring their vision of the world in reality with their projects.

The three things I look for in a top project is uh being either super technical, super practical and you have that w factor.

The submissions at East Global Delhi has been like really hard-hitting so far and really love the energy and looking forward to the who the winner is going to be.

There's 1,900 attendees, 616 projects. We were estimating [music] 350 and 616 is one of the biggest records we've kind of had. This is the top two projects hackathons now and we had to choose 10 finalists [music] from this massive set of projects. [screaming]

You would never regret the experience. It's not like any general where you just go and in the corner you just sit around and build it. It's a complete ecosystem experience which you get in the east global events. The first hackathon was crazy. That is why I'm here in the second hackathon.

And this place I I swear to God, this is surreal. The energy, the pushing the limits of everyone that is going to be in this event. Trust me, it's it's mind-blowing. That is why I'm here for the second time and I'll be there for the third, fourth, and fifth and endless times. Bro, you're going to miss your life.

The life moments of your life is here. If you want to come, if you want to live life, then [music] please come to it global any day. It's a vibe. India as a region matters to us [music] a lot and we can't wait to do something here again very soon. So stay tuned for our future US calendar.

And [music] for next year, the thing I'm super excited about is EHC comp. It's going to happen in June in New York City where we're going to do the biggest conference about Ethereum. So check out everything we have to offer for Ecom. [music]
