Special Recognition Ceremony

Good afternoon. Today I have the profound honor of presenting our inaugur inaugural women in finance recognition. A celebration of vision, resilience, and leadership. The distinction. This distinction shines a light on a woman whose remarkable contributions have not only shaped the fields of business, finance, and economy, but have also helped propel the Middle East towards greater innovation and global prominence.

It also honors a champion of financial inclusion and financial literacy, which we'll be talking more about later today. It is someone who has opened doors, elevated voices, and helped ensure that women are fully woven into the financial fabric of our region. Her work reminds us that when women rise, entire societies rise with them. On behalf of the Atlantic Council and Abu Dhabi Finance Week, it is my distinct privilege to recognize today her excellency Rajal Mazurai as the first honore of this distinction. An exemplary leader whose impact will undoubtedly inspire generations to come.

Congratulations. As a leader in finance and technology, her excellency serves as the chief executive officer of Atihad Credit Insurance, where her visionary leadership is redefining the landscape of trade credit insurance and strengthening the UAE's standing as a global trade hub. Her leadership emphasizes sustainable and inclusive growth development and diversified financing to strengthen national competitiveness. Reja's remarkable career spans senior roles across prominent multis- sector organizations. I'm going to name a few uh including the higher colleges of technology, Dubai Holding, National Bonds Corporation, the DICC exa specifically during her tenure as the executive vice president of the DIC fintech hub fintech hive.

it stands out. She stood out as a defining uh leader uh during which during whose during her role she helped build one of the region's most dynamic and influential fintech ecosystems. She is armed with an MBA in global leadership and management. But her commitment to find lifelong learning has taken her to leading institutions such as Harvard Business School, the London Business School of Economics and the University of California, Berkeley. Beyond her role at ACI, her excellency contributes her expertise to numerous boards including the Muhammad bin Rashid School of Governments, Alans Ansari Financial Services, Zen Digital Bank, Al and Al- Masrav Bank.

Her outstanding leadership has earned her a place among the top 100 CEOs of the Middle East and the top 100 most powerful business women of the region. With her unwavering commitment to excellence, excellence, her excellency Mazra continues to shape the future of trade, credit, insurance, technology, and sustainable economic growth formemes in the region.
