hi folks my name is Matt Hamilton I'm a developer Advocate at protocol labs the company behind farcoin we're really excited to be a part of East Denver and have a total of forty thousand dollars in bounties for developers building on fem the new filecoin virtual machine we have two main sets of fem bounties with multiple prizes for each bounty there's project using fem and best developer tooling solution for fem and also a bonus Bounty from our friends at Falcon green for best use of their CO2 storage site the judges for our bounties are myself and my colleagues Sarah tiem and zakayash fem is scheduled to be released to mainnet in March as such you need to be working with a hyperspace testnet this testnet is listed on chainlist.org and has the chain ID 3141 the first criteria for judging is that you deploy at least one smart contract to hyperspace and put the contract address in your GitHub readme we're looking for developers who are Building Solutions that take advantage of the functionality to work with storage deals on the Falcon Network you can use the newly released filecoin.sol library to access filecoin functions within solidity we also have a request for startup site at rfs.filecoin.io if you're looking for inspiration farcoin is designed to efficiently and reliably store data in the gigabyte to petabyte range as such the actual data itself is stored off chain just the proofs of the storage and the storage deals are on chain so whilst the hyperspace testnet is configured for smaller sectors to make development easier the storage deal flow is still the same as that on the mainnet this might seem a bit daunting at first so please check the QR code below to the fem link tree and look for the cheat sheet that explains in more detail how storage deals are made feel free to come and find us at the filecoin booth if you have any questions or come to the hacker house we're running at Upper larimar from the 28th to the 1st thanks a lot and have fun hacking
