[Music] uction into the game we're actually building so this is a classic board game uh actually like a pen and paper game uh it is quite old some of you might recognize it so actually uh there are two players or could be more and you have an M by end Grid in this case it's 10x 10 and each player is given a set of ships which are just a collection of cells and uh they deployed onto the grid essentially and they uh don't know the disposition of the uh ships of their opponent and uh they take turns into like blindly hitting the grid of their opponent and uh whoever sinks all the ships of his opponent first wins so this is how this plays out uh but there is a potential problem here uh since it relies solely on the like uh trust between players the cheating is kind of vulnerability of this approach uh so how can we fix that uh and that's right by using blockchain uh here you can see this fun equation which combines the traditional approach the blockchain and uh this comes out uh so let's go through the structure of our project so it like a typical web three application consist of smart contract and web UI the smart contract manages the game states such as initiate Game Change stages confirm hits and Etc determine winner something like that and we also use the concept of digital signatures and hashes to detect cheating which will be told by my colleague later and we also buil a web UI which maintains two game boards which we will see later and it displays real time interactions between the players so now now we will move on to the actual UI so we're in game right and we have to first place a ship uh but but we need to mention that we make we need to mention that we make a small change on the game because the traditional way is like a little bit too complicated so we just simplify to uh one block for one ship and first you need to place the right and next to link the wallet this next we can join a battle yeah and I'll give you a short demo actually yeah you can choose your shoes and you can insert your address your probably legging yeah good join so we can choose which ship we want to attack oh I want to mention a lot thing like we make we make a two players on the same same board so it means that if I attack this place and it also attack on my on my board it's a fun feature have from the classical game it go through the technical detail of n so remember at the before the game starts the player needs to place their ships onto the board but if but we are using blockchain so how can we place the ship onto the board without ring it location because that's the point of this game so we down it by using signature so we will first discuss the signatures of the coordinate of or shs to the blockchains and then we can go to the next step so after placing our ships we will need to hit others ships but but since we don't have other strips locations so how do we know if we indeed hits every somebody else ships so so we solve it by using letting the player sign all of the shots at thatr and submit it to the contract so what will happen when when there is a sound shot basically some of the signature player submit will match the the ship the ships the ship that the player put on the board so if the signs are the same then it basically means that we hit the ship but there is the problems if I'm cheater what would I do at this step what if I just not submit the correct signature so so basically we do we we with L users submit near key after the game is over and we will verify from at DES time so we solve this problem and thanks for your attention all right questions questions good all right thank you
