okay so uh while he's getting it set up so uh cor is a layer one uh blockchain um I think the other guy that came um root stock or something said they are the first to be aligned with Bitcoin I think that's not so true forgive me uh so where they first Bitcoin aligned uh blockchain but then evm compatible what it means is that our blockchain is secured by the Bitcoin blockchain right but then you can build smart contracts okay on the ethereum side right so um our consensus mechanism is the Satoshi plus consensus mechanism which combines um three things in one right de centralized proof of work sorry um delegated proof of work delegated proof of stake and the non-custodial BTC taking okay so these are the three components of our consensus mechanism so uh what does this mean for Developers for because I know that a lot of people here are here for the technical session this is the Developers class right so what this means for developers is that so this is an opportunity for you to build um decentralized applications dabs that are secured by the Bitcoin blockchain okay you build on ethereum but your your your your your application will be secured your smart contract will be secured by the Bitcoin blockchain we all know how um strong or how secure the Bitcoin blockchain is being the first so um what are some of our products what are some of core our core core products so we have the okay I think we have them here okay um the St core what is St core St core simply means staking core okay so this is a token that you st okay to earn rewards returns or interest okay we have um the call BTC the call BTC is is is BTC that is wrapped wrapped BTC okay we've seen these tokens that are wrapped right on different chains for instance this is Bitcoin but then it's on the core blockchain this time around so it's wrapped on the core blockchain okay then um the last one is the non-custodial taking BTC so what is this and what does it do what does it allow you to do it allows you to um stake Bitcoin so one thing with Co is that it gives you this um opportunity or privilege to be able to use Bitcoin in a in a in a defi manner okay decentralized Finance okay so call now on call you can stake Bitcoin non custodia remember what that means is that your Bitcoin stays with you in your wallet right in your web3 wallet but then you can stake it and then end um rewards how this is this works is that it's going to be locked for the amount of time the period for for a time um St for a staking period okay it will be locked for that time you can't take it out but it's right there in your wallet you can't take it out but it's right there in your wallet so why is the why is it like that you know a lot of times we've heard of um when centralized exchanges went down right like FTX and the rest let me not uh talk down on other people but so these are applications that went down with people's phones and all that so why are we this is the reason why we we we we're making our own noncustodial so nobody takes your Bitcoin away from you it stays right in your wallet but it's locked you can't access it for the time period that is locked because you're earning interest on it okay so uh so the next thing I want to um talk about is the our tools the tools you use for um development as developers right how do you build on core so we have our tools even though it's evm compatible completely the language we write okay I'm a smart contract developer as well okay but then I work as a technical Ambassador here so um the language we use is solidity okay the normal solidity you know okay but then we have some few settings some few changes that we have on our own blockchain so these are some of our resources right and then um our our our docs can be accessed at docs. cal.org I think you can see the address up there docs. cal.org so so right here this very area I think you can see it from there um cor blockchain test test net resources so what are these These are tools that allow you to build on the test chain on the core test chain okay okay um here is our test Explorer right you open it you can when you deploy your contract this is where you can come to to to to verify them to check them and all that these are our RPC end points I will not say so much on this because uh my colleague a will come and speak on them um so I think let me even stop here since he will take the technical side more right okay so let me just allow him to go from here these are basically the minute resources up is a test net so thank you so um gmgm um it's nice seeing some old and new faces here and um it's late in the day so I don't think I'll take much of your time so um as my colleague Daniel has said um cor is a layer one blockchain so we leverage the security of Bitcoin while enjoying the scalability of ethereum so um I just think I have I'll just show us how just to deploy a contract because I believe most of us here are smart contract developers I don't need to start telling you how to write a contract again so um so let me see I have yeah I have AO just I think we just go through the harded config [Music] okay so um okay so um I think he's trying to clone the repository right okay okay um so um this is just a simple contract like it's a it's a simple sticking contract but um I'll be more interested in the hard configuration so we all we mostly know how to deploy yeah so I think it's um to De ployee okay there's no EMV file that's why it's complaining a lot so I'm just add the EnV then please um I'm assuming that most people are familiar with what I'm doing I don't know if you are not and you need me to just explain something then I can pause and explain but okay um so we need an EMV file and I think okay let me install my dependency so so I think I just need my API um my API key here then um need that my account private is it oh God off now yeah and um then okay so I think um from my hard config this are the variables I need and probably it's not hard to get um um so think it's here okay so I get my RPC from here yeah RPC so these are RPC Daniel can I open okay because I'll need to get I need to get private key so uh or should we open another account for the test okay so let's get your private key you don't cast Okay so and don't worry please don't PK our test tokens yes yes so okay um I think the major thing we are supposed to get out of this is um since we evm compatible and it's the same thing it's just like deplo deploying on Sear leak okay leaks to no seoa polygon and stuff so what you just need mostly is our RPC URL so once you have the RPC URL and you go to your hard config file and where you put your sear RPC URL you just replace it with core RPC URL and I think it's the same thing then you're good to go then it's just um npx hard that runscript deploy JS or ts-- network D Network test core I think yeah then um the private key to get our private key um to get your uman our API key yeah you opened it somewhere are you signed in because okay you just come um you come to our site you create an account just if not created and we can run through that or better still okay um I've been W twice about time so it's not hard you just go you come here when you register it's just like registering on Alchemy you've registered on Alchemy and you've gotten your itcan API key yeah so it's straightforward most things why I like web 3 is most things are straightforward there's no confusion is just to go where to know where to go like anytime you feel lost you can just Google um T Test foret I think if you Google call test foret you get a link straight to get foret if you Google uh call test net scan you get you go straight to the scan you don't need to get the URL complete so um with that I think um I've come to the end so if you have any question any Clarity anything that you need me to iron out for you then I will take questions now but if none thank you very much and cheers [Applause]
