yes the mic is off I think so hello hello hackers I'm Anil I work at Rome protocol I'll be talking about uh our project what we do uh gain first of all uh so we'll start with the little introduction uh you want to play the video first sure go ahead play okay so we'll talk about getting started with the Rome protocol so Rome protocol you can get uh your L2 evm L2 getting started on Solana uh in few minutes which enables you to use Solana speed and decentralization uh within few minutes okay you guys I'm here you got my location you're good you don't need to like stretch or something no no no I'm good I'm good let's take this tach on enhancer off for test drive all right oh yeah I feel that that is the tach on device powering up the speed force in your cells like a quick charge battery how do you feel different let's see how long it takes you to get back here on my count 3 2 1 go dang this thing got you cruising how fast does he normally go not this fast not even closer his vitals okay yeah they're perfect cool it's like having a pit stop attached to your [Music] chest guys I can go go faster do [Music] it I'm back how long was I gone let's put it this way you just annihilated your old record yeah you went four times faster than you have ever been four times that's as fast as Zoom well faster actually so with Rome uh you are able to start L2 which uh brings speed of Solana to uh ethereum daps uh you can get started with your L2 within 5 minutes uh in the front end it uses uh op Gat uh uh go client and on the back end it has Solana's consensus and you get composability Atomic composability with Solana and atom composability with other l2s that are using R stack uh second uh second uh stream is uh interrupts uh where you are able to build uh intop application which is uh basically using our SDK you can compose transaction Atomic transaction uh evm transaction and Solana transaction as a part of a single Transaction what it allows you to build uh trustless application that uh does two transaction on two different chain at the same time uh if a transaction on one chain fails that means the transaction on other chain as well fails so it it would help bring a trustless cross chain uh transaction possible and uh open up a bigger space for uh application building third track is uh uh deploying uh evm smart contract uh uh on uh uh uh on Solana and this allows uh uh ability to access uh Sol an's liquidity ability to access Solana dap uh natively via your uh metamask wallet uh you can also uh we are also working on uh to access uh evm dap Via Solana wallet so you uh Solana uh Dev Community would be able to access evm dap deployed using uh Rome evm or Rome l2s on Solana these are the three uh different tracks uh so uh I'll talk about uh some ideas uh for for uh Builders uh the first one is uh deploying app specific uh uh l2s So currently you can deploy using op G based uh client and it allows you to uh basically uh provide uh like I talked earlier uh composability with Solana transactions uh composability with other l2s uh so so that is uh a first track uh coming up with the ideas that brings uh app specific that uh uh helps bring uh Sana closer to uh uh evm uh daps so so you have uh uh uh big Community uh ethereum Community uh big uh uh code base that ethereum has uh or evm has uh for DB so bring those dab create new application chain uh application uh app specific chain and deploy them on Solana to bring uh inop application uh uh to uh uh that are not possible before uh this second type of application are inop application which is basically uh you have a different app specific chain uh l2s that are deployed on Solana you have a native Solana daps native Solana application and bringing uh uh and com combining the transaction from these different apps whether it is from L2 whether it is from the Solana native and creating these application so what are some examples of uh these application so we can think of it uh one example would be uh Arbitrage say you have uh a price difference uh for each token or a sold token on L2 versus Solana so you're are able to pack these transaction uh L2 transaction and Solana transaction into a single transaction and submit and that would be executed as an atomic transaction so only cost that you have is uh the transaction cost because your transaction either both of them will execute at once uh or none of them will execute so cross chain Landing so if you are uh doing a landing on a particular app chain your assets are on on on a particular app chain and the lending uh for the money is happening on let's say on Solana or a different L2 so you are able to compose this uh transaction as an atomic transaction so you do not have to lock user asset you do not have to forego the opportunity if somebody else uh uh wanted to buy that asset so you are able to do this atomically without having to lock and Trust some third party in terms of executing your transaction because all these transactions are happening uh in a single transaction so this uh uh helps with ux user experience so user experience would be that uh uh they are not locking their assets and then uh getting the payment it is all happening in a single transaction uh you can also when you're doing uh cross sale uh or cross chain uh uh RWS sale of tokens uh you can drop kyc token uh you can have your payment uh chain and your asset chain transaction all three transaction in a single transaction which basically binds these three transaction in a single Atomic uh transaction on Sana which again uh uh brings a better user experience and a better uh trustless uh transaction execution so these are uh some of the ways in which uh uh uh interop application can be built uh another example uh another idea would be to be able to uh uh deploy a DB uh on an L2 which interacts natively with an SPL token on Solana and able to access it liquidity uh able to uh buy uh SPL token uh on Solana so allowing evm user evm uh uh user using metamask to be able to interact with Solana liquidity able to buy Solana token uh without having to have create a Solana wallet or fund the Solana account so that is another use case uh for uh for evm uh user to basically or or for evm developer to build an application that allows you to buy uh assets on Solana without having to join the Sana uh uh uh uh uh chain uh and and it remains on chain uh it remains on L2 so it is uh it is different from a chain abstract setion where you have uh web 2 credential uh for which the wallet is created because in this case you have an ethereum compatible wallet which you are using to buy Solana assets so similarly you can uh create application that that allows you that allows a Solana I I I I know this is an evm Community it's an evm uh uh uh Dev Community but you can use uh Solana wallet to buy assets on uh evm uh uh so so you have uh Unis swap where your tokens are so you can interact with the liquidity pool and buy token uh using your Solana wallet so creating this cross chain uh uh uh transaction possible whether you are buying uh using metamask or evm wallet uh buying on Solana or using Solana wallet and buying on uh evm so these are some of the uh use cases uh that uh that uh uh I would uh I think uh very powerful use cases that uh uh we have build this uh uh chain uh this stack Rome stack for so uh I think uh these are some of the ideas uh and uh we are also looking at uh if uh uh well let me talk about the price so price pool is basically we have uh $10,000 in prices and f price 3,000 and uh you can see uh different price uh pool that is available uh for hackers and uh so we just launched our test net uh few days ago uh so uh uh you can start your L2 uh you are able to uh deploy your evm dap uh you can use Rome SDK to create Atomic transaction between Solana and L2 so all these three tracks are available uh for development uh you can use your own Mac or Windows or uh ubu uh machine to set up the L2 uh or you can set up on ec2 if you like uh much more high performance uh there are number of l2s that are already setup uh for use so if you just want to deploy uh certain dap on different l2s and then provide Atomic transaction between these different t2s so you are able to do that so there are uh number of things that are already deployed uh so which you can take use uh uh in terms of uh building your application uh we have uh you can scan this uh code and it would take you to uh some of the tax stack uh the documentation the website uh and uh a way to get help uh interact with developers uh uh uh uh in real time uh if you have any question if you have any problems uh you need something so you'll be able to uh interact with uh uh developers in real time and I'll open up for questions uh if you have any questions thank you um yeah about an idea that you said about Arbitrage opportunities um I'm just not really familiar about kind of s consensus mechanisms and um about like um the block creation is it like um really different from an evm like etherum chain I mean is it like between minutes or sorry I didn't get your question yeah about you said about a project regarding Arbitrage opportunities so let's say that you have like a price that is different on Solana than in ethereum and I want to take advantage of that and I'm just um not really familiar about like the block creation like um um how do you manage that is it like uh you have to wait maybe the block creation on that is created on Sana to execute the transactions um I mean yeah yes so basically what happens uh you uh you have an uh evm Bas L2 that is deployed on Solana you have uh uh all the liquidity uh your Unis swap smart contract uh uh running on that evm and you have liquidity in Native San daps so when you are creating transaction you are creating two transaction one for the evm uh which is uh basically signing with your metamask wallet and uh uh and creating that transaction and then the second transaction is your Solana native transaction that you're signing with Solana key and then you pack that so so so SDK provide ability for you to take these two transaction pack them as a single Solana transaction and submit to Solana and these instructions these evm instructions and Solana instructions they are all executed as part of a single Solana transaction so if any of these instruction fails the whole transaction would fail or they are going to execute everything evm transaction as well as Sol transaction and you are able to do that for multiple evm transaction and multiple Sana transaction so it is not limited to one evm and one Sana so any number of transaction you are able to pack and then submit to Solana so all the transaction would either execute or none of them will execute good all right thank you very much uh if no more question
