Surprise! A little DAO Experiment by Joshua Tan

Uh, that is not the presentation. See if we can get it back. It's showing All right, technical difficulty resolved. All right, folks. Uh, technically, I don't think I should be up here.

Uh, if you look in the schedule, I don't think I think I just barely made it. So, I have about five minutes to tell you about the DAO creative universe and how you can get involved. Uh, so I'll just jump straight into it. I'm Josh, by the way. I'm from uh Dowstar.

All right. The DAO creative universe uh is a map of the DAO ecosystem. And by map, I literally mean a giant map that is behind you right now. If you look right behind you, there's a group of people there who are huddled up around a table who are building a map as we speak of the DAO ecosystem. And we're going to be building it throughout ETH Denver.

So you'll see us at different events uh at the main festival, we'll be right next to the DAO main stage. And the idea of this uh well it's also not only a map uh if you guys are familiar with like you know nerds familiar with tabletop gaming it's kind of like a giant D and D campaign setting or if you guys like watch Game of Thrones and ever see the painted table it's kind of like that too. Uh but it's also a suggestion box. So you can actually if you have an idea for a DAO or for an idea for how to improve the DAO ecosystem you can make a suggestion uh directly on the table. Put it on there.

put your face next to it and say, "Hey, this is what I'm going to be doing. This is something I'm would really like to see in the DAO ecosystem." Uh, you can add yourself. We have handydandy uh mobile printers and little spaceship little arts and crafts things. Uh so you can uh print out your photo.

Uh you can add your idea and also add your project. Imag if you're working on a hackathon project or a uh just like your organization, your company is doing something related to Dows, you can add yourself to the map and be part of the story and help us defeat the death stars of web 2. Uh so this is all a project of Dowstar uh which is the standard body for Dows which is certified 100% fresh nonprofit public good uh funded by Ethereum Foundation. Nosis Aragon a whole bunch of different entities in the space uh and also operated by Medgov which is nonprofit. Uh it's also governed by Dowstar 1 which is round table of 80 plus key organizations in the DAO ecosystems.

Uh you can find out more at dowstar.org or if you want to start contributing right now you can go to dowstar.org/creative org/creative universe and it'll tell you how to contribute and how to start getting involved or literally just walk, you know, the 10 seconds it takes, get out of your seats and come hang out with us in the back and like play around with some stickers and uh have some fun. Give your fingers a rest uh from all the hacking. All right, I think that's basically it.

It's literally You see like look behind you. There's somebody waving there. Like right there. It is the tables by the sort of public good and impact tables. We're not allowed to have a booth because we didn't pay a lot of money for it.

Oh, okay. Cool. Oh, so it's like physically behind you. I was looking for a map. No, there's the map is on a table.

The map is on a table. The map will also be at the main festival. Uh it will be a huge ass map. You will you will be able to see it. Okay.
