The Students Talk About The Dapps They Built Week 09

[Music] web 3 Bridge cohort 9 sponsored by bass hello guys uh it's James from web3 breach and I'm here to talk about my week nine at web3 breach um so week eight we did a introduction into France which is react and we started acting on it so we build projects using react and this projects are projects that uses that utilizes um web three solidity and blockchain as the back in so we can call them full St with three projects and what we did is building the front end building the smart contract and learning how to integrate BS which for that we used um um our injected web 3 which is being injected by our wallet that way it gives us access to the blockchain and on our front end we can act on that and I was able to understand how the integration path works so it's basically similar to how we integrate in front front end to the back end but at the same time it's a bit different and we also learned how to listen to changes on blockchain so by using events we we listen to events on the blockchain and when there's a change like an up States our through our quotes our front end will be able to read it and update that particular point that particular components that is being used we start working with FR to start working started diving into using like react tpts and some other li like react from so we also some of [Music] the was he bu D so the to we M used for the C D was the sh which we we set up our connection we set up um the connection with our contract which is to be able to interact some functions that in contract like for the crow funder we were able to like to create a campaign where we would like start a can come andate then we directed like donating to CR traded so after the CR we also in which we direct we the conne connection with the and most of the function were also done with so in the block we had functions like creating a a block post which you can create a blog post and post your blog post we also have functions like tipping a post so if someone creates user creates BL post then you as a user of that particular BL you can coming and so week to fully integrating a contract so we actually had a crowd fund contract already made so integr and bu a f for that contract so it was quite intense we introduced to as the libr we use for the integration connecting so many things to PO up our campaigns and quite a number of things we used react as our framework actually and it was intense when see I had quite a lot of challenges cuz I'm not so much into front end not like back but I'm not so much into front end so it was difficult for me to so we bu on what we learned the last week which just we get to this so FR so the cloud was interesting we started with integrating a CR app with contracts with our front so we bu the UI using and HTML and as we all know and we start integrating with JavaScript we use out use T use effect use text use rers and it was really an interesting um week because we Le about we about promise all all the difference and the advantage of M we also work on a task where we to integrate a smart contract that serves as a block um block content web app where smart cont come up andate a profile create content and people can read through their content and of 20 to I integated the smart contract with with um and Ja because the mentor us through the documentation and the basic methods that that we need in itation to contract to connect connect connect us about to switch CH to update the state of our B oned events it also us about how to like use different CH to like when usze something to a chain that supported by the contract how to like Pro the user to switch to a different network so that all what was about was an interesting week and I look forward to learning more about with 3 FR because it's something I want to De dive into and know much about it thank you very much web 3 Bridge cohort 9 sponsored by Bass [Music] for
