this video is proudly brought to you by WD with lcks our official sponsors for cohort 11 in this video we'll be talking about Advanced DBS well what is a Dap a Dap is a decentralized application that runs on the blockchain network and rather than relying on a centralized entity or a server so now what is an advanced app Advanced app is a sated application that is built on the blockchain and um integrates um complex um functionalities multiple smart contracts onchain services and um interact seamlessly with decentralized um protocols now there are so many um key features uh for for advanced DBS um some of those key features are complex business Logics multi-roll user management and um Access Control Defi and economics so these are some of the um key features of advanced DBS key features of advanced app like wallet connect uh this is uh this is um a process whereby you connect wallets to the dab wallets like metam Marx extension uh wallet connect extension and uh we use uh external protocols like Unis swap to connect the da and there's also a feature of decentralized uh organizations that is Dao whereby users get to vote on the protocol on how to improve the dab and or how to improve processes that has to do with the DB and and all that uh implementation of um protocols like uh chain link whereby we use uh chain link or um protocols like that to get real time data and like ipfs we also use ipfs to get um to store data of the blockchain um examples for DBS like this we have um Unis swap Unis swap help to swap tokens across protocols across chains um they also help provide liquidity um and the rest we have um um in terms of um Gathering medical informations databases so no before now in web to we've had issues of data bridging um um data sale that's and users don't really feel secure but in now we we have we have it more secure being that the data are not directly attached to you they not they're basically just wallet addresses so and also they are stored in um a decentralized database storage EG ipfs where these informations are ashed and then you users or viewers no longer have access to your actual information plus there are no down times like we've experienced um before now in um web to and the likes so basically what the advanced apps have come to help you do is bring um equal opportunities make sure that everybody has access to the platform make sure that there security make sure that um you are not limited by chain or protocol and also make sure that data are securely safe and always available for query so uh for more contents like this like share and subscribe thank you [Music]
