[Music] I'm more strategist these days I started as a Trader but even when I was a Trader per say like trading interest rates or trading trading crypto it was more more about qualitative inputs of listening to Central Bankers or thinking about what a fund of what other people would do on the other side uh and nowadays it's more about thinking where the company goes next and you know um you know where do we expand [Music] next I'm someone who functions very well in in tough times so maybe from swimming I don't know from like having been under water and keeping you know holding my breath or so or like I tend to to love a more stressful environment so that's probably built in the genes to a degree and it's where the best opportunities are essentially so when other people's are panicking so you just need to keep your head uh you know keep your head cooled enough as such and then just you can you know you can fter through through the opportunities you need time to buy and time to sell and then uh and bu markets I like in general because it's it's there's a wealth effect it's it's just easier to get new people into the [Music] space um just being the market making just being Market neutral just providing liquidity as [Music] such so there's a quite a few risks so operational risk is good you know good with with Department as such uh credit risk with exchanges for example it's more about you know having sufficient access to information about you know how what the exchange balance she is for example Market risk it's more about getting you know proper framework around trading we we manage quite a few set of risk but uh but that's why we get you know that's that's why we build a business that [Music] way very still very discoordinated between countries regions as such very politically driven seemingly on especially on the western side very positively on like the the Asian side with like Hong Kong Japan and so on like so ker is a bit of a tricky one very politically driven as well but I'm usually The Optimist in the room so positively in general it's more about the sign of like the institutionalization of the market in a good [Music] way Miss is more about Market making in general is just making sure that people miscon Market making for manipulation we do the opposite of that we just want price transparency so that's that's a big Mis misconception that's better and better though it's it's less and less misconstrued um and also yeah there's another thing that's quite different is that people sometimes think we're an exchange we're not basically the exchange is the room and we participate we are part of the you know the agents in the room the market to to to trade but we're not we're not the building we're not the room person we're not the exchange we we're there to provide liquidity we risk our own funds to make to make sure things are liquid
