Web3bridge Journey; A look into the Future - Ayodeji Awosika

I'm going to be calling on Mr a Aika to speak on web three Journey look into the future a round of applause for him please all right uh good afternoon afternoon good afternoon everyone please can we at the back like can we reduce like the noise the noise from the all is like is becoming like too loud that we can hardly hear people that are speaking in front please clap for yourself again please thank you very much okay so I'll spend in the next five minutes to talk about never okay I next talk about web Bridge uh you're for about web bridge for the first time can I see your hand up like this is the first time about web Bridge even the one that I said before all right so this is just a c to talk about what we do what we are planning to do for the future so we started from this tweet in 2019 and so when uh I think a number of person now like the name of Africa now stuck because I believe more in Africa so like this tweet was after they five in 2019 and I was holding defon from my house I stay in Kuru how many of you are from Kuru here that's where the Lord is is where God God resides so like I I saw this tweet and when I after opening the tweet I saw a number of negatives and negatives and negatives and negatives but then I it was an opportunity for me because I've been looking for a way to I've been doing a l of Education before this time and very simple response I believe Africa has the intellect and the population like Nigeria Al has 200 million assumably now imagine the number we have in Africa and at least in this all we have brains in this all and this tweet is still my opinion to date irrespective of how much want to talk down how much want to talk down on Africans I still believe that we still have the intellect population is not the only Advantage we have now somebody out after this tweet I was like a oh nice do you have a proposal and yes I do I'm a Nigerian Nigerians work with proposals in our mind in our heads in our pockets so and boom We Bridge came to be and so far we've run 11 courts so you guys listen to the lady from R talk the other time yes yes she's from web3 Bridge Court one like again you guys listen to David B about a note from web 3 brid five if yesterday listen to John speak about wallet six five David yeah qu five qu six so I think in this all we have qu we qu 1 till 11 in this all and that's just in 5 years C seven great thank you very much we one anybody in the audience at the back quot five quot six yeah yeah qu 7 8 9 10 11 so qu 11 are the present babies of web Bri they still in the court now the guys that welcomed you guys in when you were coming that marked the attendance from Court 10 so like so far we run 11 Court run Cairo master class so for almost everyone that built uh stet in Africa today we are part of the story actually because like at least directly indirectly they from most we run C Master Class run ZK master class and oh sh it's working now I say it's working oh nice nice nice so within this 5 years we is going to be 5 years by October 10 we're going to planning on doing a big party though or we don't know yet if the alumni say we do party we do party so like in 5 years we have increased number of alumni we have so we started from online only program but then the return was not making sense we decided to do like on sit our in you been to Kur before can your hands up been to Kur before not been to Kuru at all like don't you have no been to Kuru at all okay so we started from one rented apartment there in Kuru and today we have four buildings three belongs to us one is still rented and we still paying rent uh so we house developers in our office like they come leave with us in Lagos now I'm proud to say that we have students from all over Nigeria like every state you every state is bridge and last quot we decided to bring Kenyans toos to come and learn with us this court we have an Ugandan who's presently here and we expecting two Kenyans to join us so we are continuing to spread across the continent because we believe that it's not just going to be Africa like Nigeria we're spreading across other continents other countries of Africa and possibly other content of the world actually so launch in 2019 gar over 2515 uh developers from 15 countries we have a number of countries that are like directly in our programs now so presently like we don't have a power failure in our office we don't even have generators anymore because now we are self- sustained whether there is government power supply whe once there is sun or when there is a daylight we have lights we provide the training for free like it's been free for The Last 5 Years thanks to our team that started funding the program first then the that have joined us over time we provide so we have three Square me actually yep yep like morning afternoon night like our developers are well fed if you send them lean we send them back to you fat with chick we chy back to you so uh weos is like an off we bridge this is our third year started in 20 wa 3 years ago is 20121 Right 2021 and you guys are here today to be a part of a part of it so where are we going no now it's too fast so what next so far this year we've done we in our second court and done other master classes so we train Web Two developers to actually so if you are trying to transition entirely into web we do from Web Two basic begin beginner Advance then web three so our anniversary is coming like I said October October 10 we are not sure yet if we are going to party I think we will party we like party and work so we might likely party registration for 12 is starting in October 12 is resuming by January 6 of 2025 starts in October so uh we are still not sure but then I think we're going to host a rust master class this year or next year like so our goal is we have done we we've done solidity like we've mastered solidity we continue to do solidity but now we are branching out to other aspect of tech in web 3 so that we can have like protocol developers Ross developer of those and so our Improvement prog is going to be announced next year January like now that we have done development we need to like do more we believe that Africans have the numbers I still maintain that we have the numbers what do we do with our numbers we cannot keep importing skill from all over the world to Africans and our developers are actually our biggest asset the more developers we have in Africa the more money that comes to Africa to meet us here so then uh oh so I'm the one in charge of the slide sorry I want to see next slide so no not not yet not not yet not yet not yet so if you want to join web three bigness quots and I want to not look for the information scan now we have 5 seconds to scan 1 [Music] 2 three 4 4 and half oh sorry 4 1 qu 4 4 and half is 4 and a half 44 are you still scanning yeah let's allow to scan so this form will lead you to a wait list so that you register on the plat you like you sign up on the waight list so that when it's time for registration we send you a mail to tell you we are opening registration today sign up now now the good part is that not everybody that sign up for get there's a Nigerian word say not everybody that do something we do something that word what that word not everybody that that deposits we withdraw I think that's the word not everybody that gets so but then we will try and make sure that the experience is Swift enough for you to get in so are you don't scanning since I am I love sharing opportunities there an opportunity for uh let me
