Pragma Prague 2025 Recap Video

[Music] So I'm Vitalic Budan and right now I am in Europe. I've been uh very happy here and it seems like a great conference and there have been a lot of interesting conversations uh with uh a lot of interesting people. I would describe Pragma as this collection of like high-minded folks that are thinking about the long term of Ethereum and things on Ethereum. And there's tons of mentorship and wonderful people all around that are helping prop up. For me, the most important thing that I see is the proximity.

I mean, it's like you have the chance, I mean, actually, to chat with people, to talk with people. Conversations are in the stage and off the stage are very transparent. And I mean very very like between friends. I'm very excited. There are so many like big names at Prague, but also the new builders that are coming and are excited about the space.

I mean, in general, it just feels like a very good event all around. This event is a call towards pragmatism to get more and more people involved into the web 3 ecosystem. I'm really here for web 3. I really believe in the vision of an open composable verifiable web. I think we have to change how we organize information, how we share information, how we make sense of information here.

I think the vibe is great because I feel people trying some cursed batch crazy things which usually end up working out. So um that's the vibe that I'm getting from this. There are over 300 people signed up to be here for Pragma. They're here from 45 different countries. Pragma's been really great.

There's a great crew here. Everybody's interested to learn. Had great conversations with people. Um they're listening to the talks. You know, the speakers are announcing interesting new things.

Uh you're hearing about things here first. It's been great. Prague and sort of generally Eastern Europe has a lot of really strong technical developers. It has a very good sort of blockchain community and it has one that I think in ways that are different than a lot of other parts of the world really appreciate the value of open decentralized systems. I love that that Ethereum is super ambitious, right?

We're taking the time to build things, right? To build like, you know, foundational civilizational infrastructure. And uh that's why I'm here, seeing my friends, seeing people I know. This is really the best part. Talking to people, catching up on how they're working, what's going on, what's working, what isn't is probably the best part of this.

It's like I'm feeling like home. It feels the same now. Like the Prague is always there at the center of big big changes. Events like this are much better introduction to what Ethereum is about than if you just picked like the top 50 influencers on cryptos Twitter. So come to Ethrag, come to Dev Connect Buenos Cyrus, come to Ethereum event.
